    Firecracker

We sat outside by the beach and enjoyed the sunset and a delicious dinner. Started with a loaded bloody Maria. And firecracker shrimp. Then we ordered tenderloin fillets and added a lobster. Food was spot on. Great flavor and cooked to our request. This was a great choice and one of our favorite meals out in north Myrtle beach. Cute little gem. Must go there.

Tuna Poke and Fresh Catch Grouper Bites

Fresh Catch bites appetizer (grouper, blackened) was phenomenal. Tuna poke bowl was excellent too. We also got the platter with flounder, crab cake, and scallops. Flounder was probably my least favorite-- I would try something else next time, maybe the shrimp instead of flounder. Scallops were so good. Best seafood we've had in the while and we will definitely be back! Go early and grab a spot on the balcony for an amazing view of the ocean at sunset

Yummy seafood shack with an oceanview. Great Service from two of the staff. Nice grilled seafood platter with flounder, shrimp And scallops lightly seasoned and very tasty. The Mac and cheese was the star of the show though. Creamy goodness! Nice wine list. Oceanview ambiance.

Last day here! Had to come back! Yes, fourth time this week. Wanted to try the buffalo shrimp tacos. Comes in romaine leaves. Perfect! These were the best thing I had all week. Tatiyanna was our bartender! Never a wait for anything! Super charming! I guess we saved the best bartender for last! Love the saltwater tank up front. Great vibes again!

    Grouper sandwich

If anyone is looking for an outstanding grouper sandwich this is the place. Not only is it delicious and fresh it's a large serving and enough to share. I love the preparation Snooky's uses for this menu item - oatmeal and almonds for the crust. It's mouthwatering and you can't stop eating. Then if you like tartar sauce they make a Cajun sauce that is not spicy in my opinion that tops it off. The view of the ocean made the lunch enjoyable and the server we had was great. The atmosphere here was relaxing and enjoyable. Be prepared to park across the street at the overflow area but it's well worth the few extra steps. I will be back soon for this grouper sandwich.

I've seen billboards for Snooky's for years but because it reminded me of the girl from the TV show Jersey Shore, I was never really interested in going. However, on a recent trip back from North Carolina, we decided to give it a try. It's actually a good sized restaurant with plenty of tables and a nice view of the beach. The young man serving us was in the ball and made sure to ask if we wanted another beer when we finished the first. I had the blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich which was much better than I expected. I also had the wasabi slaw but I wasn't a fan. My wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich and the fries were on point.

The best Bloody Mary on a Sunday!! Tatiyanna makes the BEST! Stop on by!

Tati , Dawn,& Kyle have always been beyond attentive and gracious. They are personable and hospitable. I've been coming to Snooky's for over 2 years and look forward to every visit. Thanks for the hospitality!

Had a Sunday lunch here. Very pleasant sitting outside with view of ocean. Had the Firecracker Shrimp and Crab Cake Sandwich- both very good. We'll definitely return when we visit Myrtle Beach again.

Service was super slow. She did not come back to check on us that often, and we were waiting for simple iced tea refills for a very long time. Not impressed with the service at all. Green tomato Napoleón 10/10 AMAZING. The Salty bacon with creamy goat cheese and the earthy spinach was amazing. Great cook and fry on the tomato too. Crispy fried calamari 10/10 Cooked good and not chewy. Coastal Seafood Platters, 3 proteins, Fried Good batter and fry on everything, super crispy. It was very heavy though having everything fried. I wish you could mix and match the cook types. - Flounder 10/10 Cooked perfectly, like a fish fry. Was delicious. - Shrimp 9/10 Cooked well. I wish they gave melted butter or something besides cocktail sauce for dipping. - Crab cake 6/10 The inside was mostly good, except I did not like the red peppers in there. Those really ruined it for me.

We visited on a Friday evening, with a party of 6, and were able to get right in. The parking lot right in front is really small, but there's a large overflow parking lot across the street. The kids menu comes with crayons, and all of the kids meals (except for the pasta) come on a cute frisbee for them to keep. We had the conch fritters and calamari as appetizers. The conch fritters weren't for me, but the calamari was really good and had a yummy breading on it. Our server was also the bartender, so he was really busy, but still very nice and attentive. I had the snow crab legs, and asked for extra butter and old bay. Very good! The drinks were also really good and had a heavy pour. We loved that the place was right on the beach. It was a little too cold to eat outside but there's view was still nice and we were able to walk on the beach after. Nice place with really good food. We would visit again.

Upstairs patio was awesome. Better view of the ocean, good breeze, and fresh cocktails. Service was good and friendly.

    Turtle cheesecake

Snooky's is such a great local spot, super fresh seafood and really good desserts. The firecracker shrimp and turtle cheesecake are my favorites. The staff is always friendly too, which makes it even better!

I had fried jumbo shrimp which were not listed on the menu as a platter, but our waitress (Grace) was glad make the exception. My husband ordered the fresh catch salmon with mango salsa. Sides were: green beans with roasted tomatoes, sautéed spinach and risotto cakes. Everything was very good and Grace kept our tea glasses full. When I'm in the area I'll definitely stop in some of their delicious food!

We came to this restaurant for dinner after our fishing trip. This place was recommended by the man…read morewho took us on our fishing tour. It seemed very "busy" for an early Monday evening around 5:20/6pm. It had quite a few customers but also many empty tables inside. We wanted to sit inside but were told they were holding tables for reservations. So our only option was to sit outside or to wait over 20 minutes. We were very hungry so we sat outside. Our waitress came out and greeted us and was very nice and answered all our questions. We had a table on the far right of the patio. Outside was hot and there were little small gnats flying around. We ordered the mussels in a wine sauce for appetizers. And OMG when the food came out the gnats swarmed in on us and it was worse! We could not enjoy the food because we were in a constant battle. We complained to the waitress. And we wound up moving to another table closer to the door (still outside in the opposite side because we still were told there were no tables inside). It was a better but gnats were still there. The food, however, was really good and would have been even better without fighting bugs. The mussels were cooked perfectly and the sauce it was in was delicious! We were almost licking the plate, but so I wouldn't look like a heathen, used the bread to wipe up the plate instead. The roasted red pepper crab bisque was also very good and I like that it had bigger lumps of crab in it. For my main course I had the fresh catch of the day that came with a lemon sauce, mango salsa and risotto. I am not a fan of asparagus so I was allowed to substitute for spinach. The dish was so delicious! I was happy with the taste and quality of the food. A manager just so happened to round on us while we were eating and we told her our complaints about the gnats. She was very understanding and offered us a free dessert or to take some money off the bill. When the waitress came back she asked us what dessert we wanted complimentary. We wondered why the manager gave us both options, but we didn't actually get to choose what we really wanted which was the money off the bill. We were really full and didn't have room for the dessert. Rather than protesting, we just chose a dessert to go, but unfortunately forgot to eat it because we had to pack for our early morning flight. My review would have been 5 stars for the service and food if it wasn't for those pesky bugs outside. I don't know why there was so many out there.

The outside is great for families or for a date night. They have a section where they have an outside bar so you can be by the water. They also have a small stage that I'm sure they have music outside. So we started off with drinks and some appetizers. We had the calamari, street corn dip and the margarita. We had the steak with a side order of shrimp, had the Big chill burger with an extra side the Hawaiian pasta salad and the Big Chill Island salad with chicken. Service was good. The apps were tasty and if you like spicy hot it was good. The steak and shrimp was good and flavorful, the burger was good but not the pasta salad. It was not good, that even my daughter didn't like it. As for my Big Chill Island salad was also a disappointment. Not sure what it was but the flavors just didn't go well together. I always like to give places a second try so we might come back and I will try another dish.

Let me start this review by saying the ONLY reason I'm giving this three stars is because our…read moreserver Abby A. was phenomenal! We had a reservation for 6:45 pm and arrived a little after 6:30. Almost everyone in the group went to the bar to wait and was told someone would come for them when the table was ready. I stopped in another store on the way in to the restaurant, so I was a few minutes behind. When I came in, I told the hostess that I'm meeting the rest of my party who is potentially already seated, if she could direct me to where. I gave her the name it was under, and she said they weren't checked in yet. I thought it was strange, but it was almost 6:45 and thought we should still be fine. I texted them to let them know what I was told-they DID check in, so I told the hostess I would wait until the table was ready with her so I could let the rest of my party know. I waited until 7:00 and asked her if we were still waiting for a table or if they were waiting for the rest of my party to come out front and she said she would go check. She came back and said that there still wasn't a table ready and we'd have to wait about 15 more minutes. I joined the rest of my group and went back up front since no one came to get us and asked again. We are now approaching an hour past our reservation and she had seated several other big groups one of which specifically told me they did not have a reservation. I got a little frustrated and let it be known and we were finally seated right about 7:45. If it wasn't for the fact that we had two small children with us that were losing their mind, I would've been fine, even if I was annoyed. When we were finally seated, we were fortunately greeted with a wonderful server, Abby A. I was not overly thrilled with the choices of food on the menu, but we had 6 adults and everyone found something and they were all famished, so I couldn't get many pictures. We ordered the street corn dip (delicious), crab hushpuppies (probably would have been really good had they not been so overcooked/on the verge of burnt) and island fries (I didn't try because 2 of the adults were tearing from the peppers) As for entrees, I settled for the steak skewers, which were well cooked, and tasted OK. I opted to get asparagus instead of the broccolini, but it was WAY overcooked, flavorless, and soggy. I wish I thought to ask for some other than fries because the 2 I tried weren't worth eating. Others ordered chicken peanut mango salad (good), Hawaiian Kalua pork (enjoyed), Capera Island salmon (done well), low country pasta added shrimp (shrimp was cooked nicely), and hamburger kids meal...thinner that McDonald's! She didn't even want to eat the burger "slice". The food was decent, but not nearly good enough for me to ever go back after waiting over an hour our time for a reservation that was made over a week ago without any apologies or even checking in on us. If I hadn't kept checking back, I don't think we would've been seated for a while. I could've spent about $400 somewhere else and had better food and treated with more respect while waiting for our LATE reservation.
