Absolutely loved our meal here! The vibes / decor in the restaurant are so fun. The decor is really interesting to take in and look at. The seafood boil was cooked perfectly! Very flavorful and satisfied my seafood cravings instantly. Would absolutely recommend!

They get two stars because while the food wasn't good, it was edible. If you wonder how they have good reviews on Yelp and google, it's because they offer a 5% discount off your meal if you give them a good review. I declined the discount.... The server was friendly but clueless. Like he delivered our entrées, but made no move to clear our soups and oyster tower. He only did it when we asked and he seemed surprised that we asked. The oysters were not quality and did not taste good. They were fresh, but we did not finish them. The lobster bisque was salty and didn't have a single piece of lobster. (Three of us ordered it and this was the group consensus.) My mom enjoyed her cocktail shrimp and my stuffed lobster wasn't bad, but they didn't even bring the cracker tool needed to crack the claws. My sister and our friend both ordered the seared scallops and they were overcooked. When my sister told the server they were overcooked, he apologized and did nothing to make it right - neither had the dish remade or discounted/removed from the bill. Nothing. The side of macaroni and cheese was clearly frozen and reheated because it was mushy and lacked any flavor. Also, we never got the rolls that were promised with the purchase of an entrée. Finally, there were several tables with families with children and the restaurant did not clean up the mess on the floor from the kid's for our entire meal so we just stared at it. The food is disappointing and the prices are high. I'd skip.

The customer service was great and the pineapple drink was good but not strong. I prefer the Cajun butter sauce over the garlic butter because it has more flavor. The lobster, scallops, and shrimp were cooked perfectly.

We have driven by the Lobster House many times on our way to the Market Common. We walked in and there was no one sitting at the bar. My husband said the place looked cheesy. We ordered cocktails and enjoyed them while looking at the menu. Deciding on what we wanted , we placed our order. He got the lobster tails with asparagus and I got the whole lobster with new potatoes and a garden salad. My garden salad was huge. Everything was on it. He left hungry. The food was delicious, but not enough. My new potatoes were big-not what I call new potatoes. My lobster was good but they did not give me a cracker to crack the lobster with. And the inside of the lobster was empty. That's why I get it. Would I come back here? It was worth a shot.

Overall a good experience and most of the food was tasty. The lobster bisque was wayyy too peppery however, and the prices were a bit high. I got the surf & turf with lobster tail. Steak was 1/4" thick so impossible to make med rare. Our service was excellent and drinks were da-bomb. Not much fancy inside so it very casual. We had 4 in our group and our bill was $270 with 3 cocktails. I loved the Smokey Old Fashion and my wife had Bahama Mama as seen in pics.

We drove past this restaurant thinking "hmmmmmm we will find something better or quicker". We made that U-turn and when I tell you extremely happy we did. The young lady that greeted us this past Sunday 8/24 was a delight. Our server was patient and friendly the entire time. Now, the food. When two seafood lovers are unable to make a decision when starving after flying and driving and all you hear is "mmmmmmm this is good, oooooh baby try the broccoli, honey, did you try your fries, mannnnnnn you need to try the coleslaw...". That's a great thing So much food that we ate the remaining for breakfast the next day The retro vibe and great music is lovely. We also observed another server surprising a couple celebrating 51 yrs of marriage with a slice of chocolate cake since he overheard them talking. Great customer service. Thank you so much. We will be back soon

The food was ok, just ok. It's overpriced and the food was not that good. Two stars is being generous.

Yes! Things like clams, steak, popcorn shrimp all with a side. They were all around $5! The kids portions were large!

My husband and I were starving and saw an ad while picking up our car. I didn't even know that this was on the other direction but it was nearby so we stopped and had some food. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. I had a spritz of sorts and my husband had a beer. I ordered fish and chips and it was delicious. The fish batter was very flavorful and the fish was huge and seasoned well. The chips (aka fries) were also well seasoned. My husband enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich as well. The restaurant had several tables inside. They keep everything clean and organized but the menus were slightly sticky. Could be the fact that they serve beer. Still, the experience was great and we left happy with full bellies.

Perfect Spot for a Sunny Afternoon Lunch!…read more We stopped into Gordon Biersch Brewery in Myrtle Beach on a beautiful sunny Friday afternoon for a late lunch, and we were thrilled to be seated right away in their lovely outdoor dining area. Our server was fantastic--very attentive, bringing out our drinks super quickly and checking in just when we were ready to order. The menu has tons of wonderful options, from fresh salads to hearty sandwiches and their signature brewery-inspired dishes. Prices are a bit on the higher side for lunch, but the quality makes it completely worth it. I went with the Caesar salad topped with salmon, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly dressed--the salmon was cooked just right. My husband ordered the French dip with fries, and he raved about how juicy and tender the beef was. Portions weren't enormous, but they were more than adequate and left us satisfied without feeling stuffed. The highlight was definitely sitting outside in the spring sunshine, people-watching in the vibrant Market Common area while enjoying the relaxed vibe. The patio setup with umbrellas kept it comfortable, and the whole atmosphere felt welcoming and lively in the best way. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Myrtle Beach--great food, excellent service, and that outdoor seating on a perfect day is hard to beat!
