We came. We celebrated. We conquered. It was my sister's birthday but the way we ate, it sure felt like mine! The seafood boils were absolutely delish. They brought out a dessert for her birthday and sang as well! We bibbed up, gloved up, and dove into heaven. We also had leftovers that of course tasted even better the next day from sitting in the juices overnight. Hope to come back! The statues made for fun photo ops and the decors made it a fun vibe.

Our party of 4 had the crabby combo. This was a waitress recommendation as we had never been to this type of restaurant and weren't really sure where to start. The combo was $125 and included a pound of headless shrimp, 6 clusters of crab legs, sausage, and 4 of each- corn, potato and hard boiled egg. The food comes out really fast- like the tray is in the back ready to go. There's a bucket on each table with aprons, gloves, paper plates and forks. After we suited up, we went to town cracking crab and peeling shrimp. Discards went in the bucket. As other reviews mentioned, there weren't any cracking or picking tools available. That made getting the crab out a little more challenging- but the kind of challenge the teenage crew I was with enjoyed. In the end, I think we all could've eaten just a little bit more. (We'd ordered the fried rice, but it was pretty gross and was left uneaten.) There's no shortage of places to go for a seafood boil in Myrtle Beach. The choices are overwhelming. Tasty Crab was a solid option and a good place to give seafood boils a try. The kids tried to get me to take them back the next night, too!

Do not sleep on this place. From the outside, it doesn't look like much but the food is amazing! I haven't stopped thinking about those Lemon Pepper wings. They were fresh, flavorful, crispy and everythang! I could've just ordered those and been happy for the rest of the week. Our servers were helpful, attentive and resourceful. Next time we try this place, I'd love to see their bar menu. Everything we saw on the way out and in looked good.

Visiting the area & ran across this place. I was craving shrimp & my fiancé loves the seafood boils at other places, so we gave this place a try. The staff were friendly. The table was dirty, so I cleaned it off myself. The waitress was friendly & fast. Our order came out freshly cooked and flavorful. We truly enjoyed ourselves. We were stuffed upon leaving & will definitely go back. There's a lot of parking available.

First time customer and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. NOTE: Do not wear your finest outfit as you may be covered by your own (or your friends) back splash!! ; ) Shrimp no heads with the Cajun original seasoning which included potatoes and a small ear of corn. Accompanied by a cold draft beer. Shrimp was tasty and perfectly prepared. Potatoes were SO GOOD having soaked in the seasoning. Corn was not nearly as good in our opinion. Beer was cold and perfectly paired with the shrimp. One pound of shrimp seemed like WAY MORE!! Service was very good. (Restaurant was very very busy) Interior was basic but appropriate to the meal. Restaurant provides the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in the form of gloves, bibs, wet wipes, galvanized steel bucket, and Tyvek Suit (JK on the Tyvek!). Shrimp+potatoes+corn arrives in a DOUBLE bag. Because the shrimp needs to be peeled the PPE may be necessary as you are up to your elbows pulling your dinner out of the bag.

Food was very good! We shared the crabby combo, and had plenty left over for the next night's dinner! The shrimp was overcooked and tasted rubbery. The knuckle meat in the snow crab was inedible. There were some green/brown gunk in them resembling mold. We got the restaurant's special flavoring in our boil. I was dipping the crab and shrimp meat in the sauce it was cooked instead of the melted butter. We had a birthday with our party, they brought out a yellow cupcake with a huge streamer and everyone sang.

Unfortunately, this dinner just added to our frustration. We had a 6:15 reservation and waited quite a while before a server arrived. When she did, she was very kind and took our drink and appetizer orders. But everything moved so slowly -- drinks and app took ages, and we placed our dinner order not long after. By 7:30, we still had no food. The server kept apologizing (she really was kind and doing her best), but it was clear something was off in the kitchen or with management. Eventually someone else came over, offered 20% off, and said our meals were "plating now" -- but that wasn't true, because we waited another 20 minutes. We were ready to cancel, and when the food finally came, I honestly couldn't enjoy it at that point. My chicken sandwich was nothing special (definitely not worth the wait), and my mom's scallops were salty and just bad. While our server was lovely, the overall experience with management and the kitchen was disappointing. Won't be back.

They have a full gluten free menu. The kids menu also includes seafood which I appreciate for my seafood loving crew. I ordered the Fry Basket with Shrimp and Oysters. My mom ordered the same but also had flounder with it. My son ordered a Caesar salad with a side of fried flounder. Everyone was very impressed with the amount and quality of the food. I honestly didn't take great pictures because we were too busy eating! It was a very busy day the day we were there bc of the Kentucky derby party but we were still seated quickly and our food came out fairly quickly. They take a lot of precautions when dealing with allergies and it was appreciated. They even identify that it is gluten free when they deliver the food as well. I can't wait to return and try the short rib macaroni and cheese. The ambiance is booths and tables around a bar. They also have a great outdoor space due kids to run around and play.

The parking lot is usually full, which always felt like a good sign. Well... after years of saying "maybe next time," we finally stopped in -- and we're glad we did. We were in town for a few days doing some work at our place and decided to try something new for dinner. I checked Yelp beforehand to see if they had a happy hour menu, and they did -- and it looked good. We arrived around 5:00 pm. There were only a few cars in the lot at that time, and the building (which used to be a Pizza Hut) is easy to spot. When we walked in, we were told to sit wherever we liked, so we headed straight to the bar. The bartender greeted us right away, gave us menus and waters, and made us feel welcome. Since it was our first visit, we had a lot of questions about the menu. The food seemed like a fusion of Asian and Korean flavors, and we weren't very familiar with it. She was fantastic patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful. She even mentioned their Date Night special, which turned out to be a great deal. She made my wife an iced tea that was different than the usual but very good, and I had an Old Fashioned that was excellent. We decided on the Date Night Special, which is a prix fixe menu for two for $45. It includes one starter to share, a selection of small plates, each person choosing their own main from a list of six (two with a small upcharge), and a dessert to share. For our starter, we chose the Scallion Pancakes. They aren't really pancakes in the traditional sense -- more like a thinner batter that's deep-fried and served with two sauces. Both sauces were excellent, and the appetizer was a great way to start the meal. For our mains, my wife ordered the Bibimbap with chicken, and I had the Korean Fried Chicken (+$3). When they set the plates down in front of us, I looked at my wife and said, this looks really good -- why haven't we stopped here before? Her dish came in a shallow bowl with cucumbers in a sauce, thinly shaved carrots, kimchi, rice topped with an egg, and a piece of fried chicken with sauce. Mine came with coleslaw, fresh-cut French fries, and two chicken breasts covered in the same flavorful sauce. The chicken on both dishes was the same, and that sauce was outstanding. My first bite was literally, "Why have we passed this place so many times?" My wife loved everything on her plate, and I enjoyed every bite of mine as well. Our dessert, the Apple Crumble, came out before we were completely finished with our meals. This was really the only thing that could have been handled a little differently. Even though we didn't eat it right away, it was still good we just felt a bit rushed trying to finish our food so the dessert wouldn't get cold and the ice cream wouldn't melt. Overall, we found a new top-5 restaurant to eat at when we're in town. To top it all off, while sitting at the bar we were talking with a waiter named Logan. He asked where we were from and mentioned he had family there. It turned out he's a cousin of a friend who grew up with our son and was actually in our son's wedding. Just a few weeks earlier, they were all in Myrtle Beach for a bachelor party for his cousin. Small world! Don't be like us driving past for years and saying "maybe next time." Just stop in and give it a try. The food is wonderful, the service was great, and we will definitely be back.
