The girls and I enjoyed our brunch at snooze. They ordered mimosas and I ordered a latte which was delicious. We split the trio, pancake sampler, and we couldn't decide which was our favorite because we enjoyed them all. I ordered the smashed avocado benny and really enjoyed the meal. It was fresh and came out hot. Service was friendly and they have indoor and outdoor seating. I will say it did take a hot minute to get our food, but it was very crowded. We used the waitlist to get in on a busy Sunday.

The food was great. The restaurant was very nice and bright The service was pretty bad. The server looked like she just couldn't be bothered. Though she did everything she also did not much. The onlything that came quick was the check with the force in your face tip with the hand held console

Food is great! Restaurant & music can get a little loud and the AC can be a little chilly. Other than that it was a good experience.

We came to this location b/c I couldn't remember where on S Lamar that location was and PLOT TWIST the waitress informed me that they actually closed that location. She said they finally got it removed from the maps. But anyways we came for my daughter's 14th birthday brunch. She saw they had an everything but the pancakes. When it came to the table she noticed that it looks like regular pancakes and then as she ate it realized the seasoning was inside the pancakes. She enjoyed it and also got a lemonade in a fancy glass. I reviewed the menu and went to my safety net which was the OMG French Toast. I told Emma that I didn't want the coconut and she wanted to confirm that it wasn't an allergy thing and I let her know that I am just a picky eater. This location looks just like the S Lamar one did but a little smaller. There was still an outside area to eat, but due to how hot it gets now in the morning I chose for us to sit in the AC.

Snooze threatens to knock Kirby Lane Cafe off the winner's stand for top notch brunch in the south Austin area. From its clean and whimsical vibe to their drink palette, quality service, and unique food selections, Snooze is a must-try eatery for all the foodies out there. The corned-beef hash (requested extra crispy) with over easy eggs and sourdough toast was expertly prepared - with large chunks of corned beef, poblano peppers, and hash browns that have no rival. A stand out dish in a stand out establishment. My only regret was not being able to try their crispy pork belly rice bowl. We'll save that dish for the next visit and the next review. Don't hit that snooze button too many times - or you'll sleep right through one of the best new additions to the south Austin food scene!

Amazing service, very knowledgeable about allergens and menu is labeled and also when food comes out has an allergens pick to know this person has food allergies.

The snooze classic, the strawberry shortcake pancake.

We were a little lost when we first arrived because the door is quite subtle, but fortunately someone else was also entering. Our servers were all very friendly and we were seated by the manager. I highly recommend making a reservation--the only reason we got in was because another reservation for 10:00 didn't show and it was almost 20 past! The drinks were good and they have a pretty solid list of "experimentals" as well as some themed drinks for the bar. I had the Daisy and an espresso martini and enjoyed both. All in all, I think this place is great for a 1:1 or coming with a small group of 2-4 people. And our receipt came inside of a book, which added to the quirkiness of the place. Would definitely come back!

Our server was very friendly and attentive. This is where things change. The bartender, asked me if i was born stupid because the door was held open for longer than he'd prefer. As our server was sitting us, we could overhear the bartender saying things about us to bar guests. Totally uncomfortable situation. We stayed for one round of drinks and left as we felt totally unwelcome due to this guys actions. Great place, but how do you run a business with rude staff like that. Also, two signature drinks, two glasses of wine shouldn't cost over $100.

Imagine Lala's feels like a chill, comfy neighborhood bar where you can actually enjoy yourself, and the ambiance, and have a conversation with whoever you came with, instead of a tourist clogged beehive? Because BOOM that's Lala's South Pole. I'm not even a big Christmas person, and I am smitten. Charming, quite, festive. It feels like a hidden gem. I probably shouldn't be reviewing it so it can stay that way, but no one like a gatekeeper. Also, absolute baller pizza from Brooklyn Pie Co. I had to really talk myself down from going back the next night just for more pizza. The service is... well what you would expect from a "trendy" Austin dive bar, as in... None, but that's part of the charm kind of? I've actually tried a lot of new pizza places lately and this is what stands out in my mind. Drinks wise? It's a bar. They serve you alcohol. The bartenders are really friendly, the bathrooms are immaculate, and the inside of the place is really cute -- think kinda pink vintage? There are some tables, and big comfy couches around a coffee table in the middle of the bar which is where we sat. I had one of their happy hour cocktails that was similar to a creamy espresso martini, and they are 50% off on happy hour days/times! My friend got one of their floral cocktails which wasn't discounted but I LOVED it personally. I also got a strawberry matcha drink (non alcoholic) that was a little too sweet in my opinion; I finished it but wouldn't get it again. Overall though the cocktails and vibe in there are worth a visit alone! When it's not too hot, the area outside has little mini-chandeliers and is also very vibey.

They have premium prices still. They sell pastries and they have a taco food truck connected to it. Both are still very much overpriced. I get it, they are inside a nice hotel and so they will charge a premium but at least have the quality match that.
