My family and I were in the mood for burgers so we ordered from Pluckers. My husband went online, placed the order and then picked it up. I didn't go with him to pick up the food so I don't know about the ambiance. I ordered the Bypass Burger which comes with meat, bacon, cheese, onions, jalapenos, and pluckers sauce. I got mine without cheese, Jalapenos, and lettuce. I added avocado and got it on the sweet bun. I got my burger with a side of waffle fries. The burger was okay. The bun wasn't really sweet but it was warm and fluffy. The meat was more on the well done side and a little overcooked. The bacon was chewy. It wasn't crispy at all. I prefer bacon on the crispier side. The pluckers sauce and avocado was decent. The waffle fries were soft. They were not crispy at all. One of my sons didn't really like the burger. He didn't like the bacon as it was too chewy and the meat was too well done. My other son got the nachos and loved them. My husband ordered the Bypass Chicken Sandwich without cheese and a side of fries. He said it was okay. Pluckers in Oak Hill made a touchdown when it came to our pick up order tonight. We tried to order online but the app said that the pick up time would be into the 2d quarter of the Super Bowl. We called them and were told that it wouldn't be a problem to pick it up pre-game. I was impressed by how organized they were for pick up orders on this busy evening. I've been Pluckers member since 2017 and I know that doesn't mean much but I've never had a bad experience until now. Manger katy directed her employee to serve only small drinks. We arrived late 10:20pm and I asked the hostess if we could still order food and they no problem " we had until 11pm to order!" . However . The Bartender never gave us last call...so when we ordered our last drink at 10:40pm we were told no. And we had not even received our food! Crazy you're cutting us off without notice! As a long-time Plucker's patron, it's disappointing to see how much the service has declined over the past year. At times, the bar iis understaffed and not welcoming. Over the past year or two, there's been a high turnover in staff and management. Been coming here for years, but lately the experience has been far less enjoyable. In my most recent visit, the staff was eager to close down come 9 p.m. although closing hour is 11 p.m. I will say that they do well at seating large parties. We have eaten here twice over the past week (once my food was to go, the other time we dined inside the restaurant) and very much enjoyed it both times. For the in person second visit, Elissa was taking care of us and she did a great job. Very attentive, personable and an overall solid server. As for the food, I got the 10 bone in wings both times and they were delicious each time! The fried cheese and Holy Macaroni appetizers are also very good. And my fiancé enjoyed her salad as well. I have been dining at Pluckers Wing Bar establishments since they had only two locations. For all those years they have maintained the same service and concept with chicken wings with beer and sports. The Oak Hill location is my closest location and mostly order chicken wings, but occasionally order other items on the menu. On this day I ordered the 5 Wing Combo with Tater Tots. I chose not to include a sauce where planned on dipping them into the ranch dressing. However my wife ordered the same but with Honey BBQ. We ate at the bar where you get faster service and the bartender was very friendly. They had lots of beer on tap and ordered one. I was ready to enjoy my lunch. The wings are not the best but out of 1-10 they are a solid 8, and far ahead of their competition. They are fried and even without sauce taste good with nice flavor. By dipping them in ranch sauce they add a great match. Five wings pretty much filled me up along with the tater tots. They always offer sometime free since I am a Pluckers Club member. But many times too much to eat. Overall this place has an excellent sports bar atmosphere where the walls are covered with TV flat screens and always has sports on the TVs not news, talk shows, the weather, or soapies. read more

Let me start by saying my server was very kind and apologized a few times. With that said, every part of eating here was a misstep. I brought my dogs and went straight to the patio. There was a server there who said I could sit outside and they would go tell the host for us. We waited about 15 minutes before the host came out and said sorry for the wait our server would be right with us. The server came out 10 minutes later and said they didn't realize we were at her table. This was the same server who was outside when I arrived and said they would inform the host. We ordered an app and that came out in a reasonable time. I asked if they had a water bowl for my dogs and she just said no. Not her fault but she didn't even try to offer an alternative (ramicon, to go cup, etc.). We then ordered wings. After waiting for a while (unknown amount of time but it was a long while) the server came out and asked if we had gotten our food. We obviously had not. Then the manager came out and said the ticket had been lost and they were making our meal on the fly. She did not offer condolences or reparations. It still took some more time for the order to finally make it to our table. Our wings came out and were not hot, but warm. I asked for ketchup and only received spicy ketchup and had to ask again for regular ketchup. At the end of the meal when we went to pay the server had to get a manager to comp items we did not order or receive. Nothing was comped for the MULTIPLE waits we had. I then went to the men's room to wash my hands and the lights above the sinks were completely out. The faucets were automatic and could not see my hands without the light. I couldn't even see my face in the mirror. Basically, very kind server but every step of the process was a hassle and the team at Pluckers didn't seem bothered by it. This was our first time here at Pluckers. This is the location on the 71 right off of the 290 freeway. We had very good service and attention from our waiter and unfortunately, a couple of our chicken tenders came out a little undercooked. However, we told the waiter and the manager came over and apologized and offered to give us two more on their house. So overall, it was a very good experience. We chose to try the buffalo mild and the honey barbecue sauce. My wife like the honey barbecue sauce better than the buffalo sauce and I like just the opposite. I always love how fast I'm able to be seated at this location, the others always have an extremely long wait. Additionally, the servers here give you that happy medium- they check in when needed but not over bearing when it's interrupting a meal. Lastly, the food always comes out fairly quick and fresh. Usually this place is great every single time. However the past couple of visits have been sub par. The margaritas and beer take way too long to get to the table. We got the margaritas the same time we got our food. Which brings me to my next point. We received our drinks, appetizer, and wings ALL AT THE SAME TIME. That's a huge upset for me. I want to be able to enjoy my margarita, then the app, then my wings. This happened the last to visits. Both on Monday, which wasn't too busy. My most recent visit I ordered the waffle cheese fries, as it comes, with the jalapeños and sour cream. However, there were TWO HEAPING scoops of sour cream. Two scoops that were bigger than your average ice cream scoop. After eating around the pile of cream, there was almost no cheese and it seems they attempted to cover that with the cream.
