Idk, it's a chain.... It takes forever to get a table since they don't do reservations. So be prepared to wait and it's not easy to grab a drink while you wait. The espresso martini is on point but the food is mediocre. I am sure the sugar desserts of pancakes are good because it's pure sugar. We come here twice a month at a minimum. Our favorite drink is the one named after Abracadabra. You cant go wrong with any of the meals but I have been stuck on the shrimp and grits for the last two months. The wait staff is the best. We were all tired it seemed but the food was worth it. I recommend the Pork Belly Benedict for sure. The best was I can describe it is it's like eating a better than ya mama's Thanksgiving. Reduced cranberries on top with what seemed like a reduced, blackened onions on the bottom that all paired together perfectly with the Benedict! My only gripe was their potato ring as it had zero flavor and the texture of it was a mix between hard and mushy. It wasn't bad, just definitely not a shining point. My recommendation would be to mix it with some cheese or instead of the hockey puck ring, instead shoot for a more thin version to allow crispier edges and easier availability for salting and tasting. I had told the hostess my mother-in-law could not stand long, so she got us table quicker. It's good to get on the waitlist, which we did, so by the time we got there, we only waited 10 min. Came here on a Saturday morning for brunch and we had to wait about an hour for a table. We didn't realize there was a Yelp waiting list until we got there so the wait was deserved as we didn't plan ahead - it showed how popular the spot was though! There were tons of parties also loitering around when we got there, but when it was time for us to be seated, we were one of the only ones left. We got a nice booth in the center of the restaurant and had our orders taken pretty quickly. We had a party of 8 so the food took a bit to come out, but the wait was well worth it - the portions were large and the taste was great. I loved my eggs benedict and thought the hash was super unique and deliciously filling. The pancakes were also super fluffy and a great sweet addition to the meal. The 2 stars is for the super friendly staff and it's not their fault the food is very average. I ordered the breakfast burrito and I could barely eat half of it. First off, it was pretty pricey for not having any meat in it. Second, I just received it from the kitchen and as soon as I sat down to eat it, it was lukewarm already. Menus are they WR code so it might be a good idea to review it while you are waiting. Absolutely wonderful experience! We came today around 0715 and were waited on by a younger gentleman with buzzed/shaved sides. (My husband and I wish we could remember his name). He was such an absolute joy. Interacted with my nephew so happily and lively that my nephew felt comfortable enough to place his order directly to him. I picked this establishment due to their plant based options and when I ordered the tofu scramble I was actually told they were out of tofu. The gentleman was so cordial and apologetic and offered me an alternative so delicious sounding that I couldn't say no. Thank you for that! Okay so- I wanted to like this place since my daughter said it was good. BUT beyond the great bartender with her coffee magic skills.. this was a $25 let down. So I had the tofu scramble.. before you tofu-haters poop on tofu scramble.. I have had some amazing tofu scramble in my time... and so my bar is pretty high. As you can see by the pics the tofu was SO oily and 75% raw ... tofu scramble isn't raw ever.. the potato hash was the only thing I truly ate and it was okay. No true flavor- just a circle of hash browns ‍. Now you might be asking what that other glistening weird shape thing on a plate is, that is glistening in oil.. that's chicken sausage.. I know I know.. eww. Now many rave about their other food and could be possibly good.. but my experience was there is better vegan options out there and probably better poultry sausage as well. BUT again the customer service was good and the bartender got tipped as if the food was amazing- not her fault that the food was nasty oily. The spinach & chicken sausage were very light, but it had a ton of onions. Hubs ordered the breakfast burrito with both red and green Chile. It was not hot at all, cheese not melted. It would've been so much better had it been piping hot. He said the red sauce had a good tang, but none of it was spicy. Good vibe here, good 80"s music blasting. Location, location, location. We've been to a few different Snoozes, but this was in such a great Austin location and is surpringly large. We went during the marathon weekend and surprisingly were faced with no wait. We were sat right away and happened to be right on the marathon route! I always love the way they make their hashbrowns: shredded potatoes! The toast was excellent. The avocado portion is generous, plus they add an onion jam, which really makes the whole dish. My husband had the pancake flight, which is definitely a must-do if you've never been to a Snooze. The blueberry ricotta pancake was especially delicious! Our server was very attentive and even noticed a mistake with our bill as we were about to pay. She checked on us frequently and kept our drinks full. Parking wise, this location is decent. There are options along the street and some larger surface lots nearby that require a payment (or at least they did while we were there).
