Delicious and very fast service. I was here with one of my girlfriends and they had so many good things to choose from, but I am trying not to go crazy with carbs, so the protein bowl fit the bill. It was absolutely delicious with the vinaigrette, sausage, bacon, pickled onions......all of it. I asked for my eggs over easy instead of scrambled, which they happily did. Good coffee too. What is more important than a good cup of coffee? I can't think of anything. Superb.

Ive enjoyed Snooze near Roosevelt a few times recently and it's been consistently great! The bar is easy accessible; waiting for me when I arrive. Our servers have been efficient and the food has been delicious: The habanero fried rice seems to work for a hangover! Of course the location is awesome, walkable and convenient. INCLUSIVE & SPUD-TASTIC! Snooze is iconic for its representation, good vibes, and bustling brunch aura. I love seeing a bar at brunch time, this is a perfect place for a relaxed, family-friendly experience. This DT Phoenix location is two-stories, it's got a fun, colorful decor and a diverse mural in the back. I absolutely love the feeling of walking into a safe space, you see people of all ages and backgrounds enjoying themselves. Our server was really nice, we had nice chats with the waitresses and Snooze team. My family and I were seated quickly, despite visiting on a Saturday morning. The location is huge, so there's plenty of seating both inside and outside on the patio. I appreciated the outdoor umbrellas providing shade for the customers. RECCOMENDATIONS: I ordered the Spuds Deluxe* which comes with a heaping portion of hash browns, covered with melted cheddar & Jack cheese, scallions and topped two cage-free eggs.(890-1320 cal $15.95). The meal also comes with two "enhancements", I ordered sausage and bacon for my two selections. Although the meal was slightly salty, everything was DELICIOUS. I topped my meal off with a Honey Oat Milk Latte, which was a great pick-me-up for a busy day.

What a letdown on the service at the downtown Phoenix location. We went on a Sunday morning, fully expecting a long wait. Surprisingly, there was no wait at all--and honestly, that should've been a red flag. Every time I've gone to Snooze on a weekend, there's usually a wait, which I don't mind because the food is consistently good. In terms of locations, downtown Phoenix has the best setup and atmosphere in my opinion. I'd rank Tempe second, followed by 24th Street, and then Shea. That's based on the locations I've personally visited. Now, getting back to what really matters--the food. The over-hard eggs were a solid 9.9, the sausage patty was a 10, the bacon an 8, and the hash browns an 11. Great texture every time and cooked perfectly, just how they should be. Food-wise, they still deliver. Service-wise, this location needs some work.

First time having breakfast at Snooze! And wow the food was delicious!!!!! And our waitress, I forgot her name, was super nice and gave great recommendations!! She made our overall experience great ! The restaurant was average but what made it was the food and the customer service ! Definitely recommend this place if you want a nice breakfast. We came here before our Dodger game and definitely will come back when we come back next year for a nice breakfast!

My mom and I worked up an appetite after going to Thiftapalooza at the fair grounds. We did a quick yelp search and found ourselves at Snooze. The only reason for 4 stars is it is downtown and parking is tough. We were lucky to find a metered spot not too far from the restaurant. The decor is super cute and retro. We had fantastic service too, not only did our waitress check on us frequently so did the hostess. Now for the food. My mom had blueberry buttermilk pancakes that came with REAL Vermont maple syrup and NO up charge. That made me extremely happy!! First spot in PHX so far that I've come across. I grew up in Vermont so I am a true maple snob. Also the pancakes were huge and soooo good!! There were made with fresh blueberries you could tell they weren't frozen. I had the smashed avocado benny and added plant based chorizo. It was the bomb!! They also had some really good red and green hot sauce. And I should have mentioned this first but they have an extensive cocktail menu with at least 3 different kinds of Bloody Mary's!! Yum!!!! I was very satisfied and will definitely be back. Also it was very well priced about $30 for two breakfasts and $20 for bloody's.

Great service and shoutout to Lauryn for the best customer service! Definitely will be coming back. I got here super early around opening time and the place was super clean, had great music playing and right around 8am the sun started shining through. Great way to start the morning. A nice brunch spot tucked in downtown Phoenix. Very spacious with up stairs seating Music playing in the background. Not to loud just enough to be heard and your date not to scream. They have a whole bar for you to wake up too. The service is great. Very clean tables floors etc. The plate I had was very good and cooked as I requested. I could see this place being a nice chill spot to grab a bite and just spend time with friends. Even the round table is inviting for that. Bathrooms were clean and that made me smile.

Everything about Snooze was fabulous and top tier!! The wonderful bright interior is so welcoming and fresh! The seating is comfortable and accommodating to large and small groups! The staff, servers were amazing and made the experience even better! The food is the star of the show! We ordered the pancake flight, the crab and asparagus omelette, the French toast and the classic breakfast. Everything was made perfectly, tasty with full on flavor and everything complimented each other. I also had an expresso Martini which was one of the best! Our entire group so enjoyed the meal and the entire experience! I wish we had a location in Michigan. Highly recommend!

The food was great. I had the Denver omelette with a side of habanero pork belly. The pork belly was the right amount of salty with very light heat nodes that hit the back of your palate. 10/10. My best friend had biscuits and gravy. She said it's her favorite item on the menu because the gravy, sausages, really compliments the fluffiness of the biscuits. While it's considered a heavy meal you don't feel weighed down after eating it.

Decided to eat here on our last morning in town and were so glad they opened so early. We arrived at 715 and this place is like a retro vibe. Signs all sound introduce you to some seasonal and most popular menu items. There is so much to choose from. We were greeted promptly and the server was very friendly and attentive. We opted for some fancy pancakes and some breakfast items like eggs and hash made in various ways. My eyes were bigger than my stomach but I was determined to try a bunch of things because we were leaving. Food was delish!!!! No complaints except I wish I had a 2nd or 3rd stomach to try more. When I'm back in town, I'll be back!!!

Snooze is a regular breakfast spot for us. This go around we got the spuds delux which is my staple. The berry yogurt bowl, and a pineapple upside down pancake. Everything came out warm and was delicious. I was surprised by the berry bowl! It was very tasty and good value. You can never go wrong with their pineapple upside down pancake, that thing is amazing and you should give it a shot. Service was great, our waiter was very kind, kept our drinks full and his attention to detail was amazing. He remembered one of our party wanted gluten free options. The vibe is modern with both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat indoor this time and it was a fair noise volume for a Saturday.

Sad to leave this review :( I had high hopes for this location as the Scottsdale location is out of this world!!!!!! I ordered the seasonal carbonara, strawberry shortcake pancakes, and my friend had the eggs and bacon combo. The bacon was good along with the jam. However the hash brown was cold and not flavorful. The pancakes are ok- not the best but not the worst either. The carbonara is OK- it came out cold but I appreciate the different textures. The coffee here is watery and the Bloody Mary is not flavorful at all- just tastes like hot sauce and vodka. I also asked for extra olives no cauliflower and in the picture, that obviously did not happen!! The service here is ok- not exceptional but better than some restaurants I've been to. Overall I would not come back here and would rather venture out to another breakfast spot here in downtown. Parking here is also a mess. read more

Love basically all Snooze locations. No matter which one, the pancakes flight is always amazing. We got lemon ricotta, pumpkin, and strawberry shortcake in the flight and all of them were delicious. The service was friendly - our server was very charismatic and likable. He did kind of forget some things thought - water refills and ketchup for example. We also got the bacon flight, which I definitely recommend. The habanero pork belly and the sweet bacon (forget what it was called) was fabulous. The hash browns are just ok - can go without. Really, the must have here is the pancake flight. read more

We were not sure where to eat breakfast in Phoenix since we are not from here. The Snooze was recommended by our waiter the night before. A short 10 minute walk from our hotel and we arrived. They were busy but we were seated right away. The waitress was super nice and explained the favorites and what wasn't on the menu. She actually brought us a pancake to try since we weren't sure. My wife loved her French h toast and my Cinnamon pancake was delicious. Great service, great food. We would recommend you try Snooze if you are in the area. read more

Snooze isn't my usual scene, but I went for my free birthday pancake. It's a great fallback brunch spot because it's condistently good food and good service. I love the join the waitlist function they have via yelp (I despise waiting in lines.) The interior is cute, and I also appreciate the abundance of plant based options. read more

Came by on a Saturday morning around 930 - lots of customers waiting outside for tables. We got one in about 10 minutes. I had the iced lavender latte & a hash brown, cheese, egg, bacon, and pico breakfast plate. It was delicious! We frequently go to Snooze in Gilbert. Today we were downtown and popped into this location. We were seated right away. Carly was our server and she was very helpful and friendly! This place and the staff was amazing. I believe our waitress name was Grace. Her professionism was top notch. She even made me a drink that had me wanting to purchase 2 ( and I did). The atmosphere wasn't loud and the place itself was inviting. My mother and I visited Phoenix for the first time and this was the first restaurant we tried. We were welcomed by a very friendly hostess and waitress. The place had a pretty cool vibe--overall warm and welcoming. The food was pretty solid. I had the maple and black pepper bacon and the ham Benedict, which were quite delicious. The hash browns was also pretty good. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a good brunch place. By the way, be careful where you park! Walked to this place from our hotel and it was a farther walk than expected but this place did not disappoint. I ordered the corn beef hash with tortilla and egg whites. They had brought out the wrong eggs but made the switch easy and quickly. Also had the sangria and that was refreshing. The ambiance was cute too. read more

Great brunch spot! My family and I got the Funky Monkey French Toast ($10.75), Breakfast Pot Pie ($10.50), The Snooze Classic ($10.25), and Eggs Benedicts ($13). All of these were super delicious and very affordable. The atmosphere of the place was very nice. The restaurant played fun pop music and had a very colorful vibe. The service of the place was wonderful. The waitress was super helpful and accommodated our needs. There was a parking garage nearby. Overall, I highly recommend trying this place! read more

Definitely loving this place. It was delicious. The staff was kind and happy! The ambiance is super fun! They have many options. The bloody Mary's were the perfect amount of spice and flavor! There was a misunderstanding with my order they had no problem promptly fixing my order and I never felt like a burden! they were so nice and kind about it. Alll the food was delicious! We stayed in Phoenix for 3 days and came to Snooze every morning! It was so good we didn't want to try any where else! And it was open early. Being from the east coast we were up by 5am every day. A very busy restaurant for absolutely all the right reasons. The Service was amazing. We were seated in 5 minutes. Be prepared to want to tip really well. If first impressions are important get the fresh squeezed orange juice. It is a big glass of juice and really can't get any better. I had pineapple upside down pancakes. The chef was so confident he didn't provide syrup. There was some on the plate. A perfect amount. The serving was large and i couldn't finish mine. My husband had corned beef hash. It was homemade with just the perfect amount of salty goodness. And finally we had hot candied bacon. (When candied bacon is your 3rd favorite dish you know that's something.) It was also very good! I wanted to take photos of my neighbors food. It all looked amazing. If I am ever visiting Phoenix this is my go to place. The ambience is fun, welcoming, inclusive. The breakfast here is extremely delicious! There is usually a wait here. We waited roughly 25min to be seated. We were a party of 4. I ordered the Benny Duo with a Bella Bella Benny and a Ham Benedict. Out of the two the Bella Bella was my favorite, with the prosciutto and Italian cheese. It is also served with a side of arugula with balsamic, this really complemented the prosciutto. Hubby ordered the Parmesan-Panko Crab Cake Benedict. This is served with avocado which complimented the crab cake. The crab cake had a really nice crunchy texture. We also had hash browns on the side, this was really a treat as they are served in the shape of a Patty. They were fluffy and crunchy on the outside as well as the inside. Came here for a weekday brunch and it didn't disappoint. Their food was delicious, fresh, and tasty! I ordered an iced latte and it was a delight to the hot day! Our server was super accommodating and very knowledgeable. The only negative is the location. I didn't realize it was in downtown and parking is annoying. If you're not from around the areas the signage and designated areas to park are a pain. I finally parked in a spot and tried to do the QR which didn't work so then I had to move 4 times! Don't park at the apartment building it's attached to because it's only for prospective tenants and I hear they're very tow/ticket happy there. This place is best if you're walking or using a rideshare. read more

Great place for breakfast. Very positive atmosphere and friendly staff. Their menu has a lot of variations of traditional breakfasts. For example, my avocado toast had sundried tomatoes in it. They also have a lot of variations of mimosa, you can choose a light one with sparkling wine or a harder option :) So I think everyone will find something for themselves here. To conclude, I got a feeling that the people who created the menu and who cooked our meals really liked their jobs and breakfasts. Great job! Thank you. read more

I was visiting the Phoenix area for spring break and looked up the top rated local breakfast joints. Snooze came highly recommended so we decided to give it a try. We went on a Sunday morning and only had to wait about 15 minutes. We sat outside and they also had heaters available due to the colder temps! The food we ordered was so good! They have a huge menu and a lot of variety to choose from. They have everything from your classic egg breakfast, to eggs Benedict's, to breakfast burritos and more! I did an order for pick up. It was definitely busy but that's no justification. Was pretty excited about treating myself to breakfast. I ordered a pancake flight and a Benny. The strawberry shortcake was the only pancake that was fairly accurate, couple pieces of pineapple in there, which was good. The attempt at the cinnamon roll had very little icing and lots of pineapple, which was weird. The middle one is something with pecans and toffee? Spent $14 on the pancake flight and won't make that mistake again. The Benny was fine. There isn't a lot of meat on it. One little slice of ham. I paid too much for this order. Bummer. Update: Owner replied to tell them what happened:: this is what happened. Im not rewriting everything for nothing to come of it. A good owner would be in my messages with resolutions. read more

Easy to find and get to, I walked. Friendly bar keeper and wait staff. Cute and very clean layout and design, well lit. Seating was comfy. Great food. They used to have an extensive happy hour menu featuring several drinks and food items and now their "happy hour menu" consists of a cheeseburger for $22. Not sure that that really constitutes as a happy hour menu... I asked him why they changed the menu and he put up his hands as if to say he's not to blame and said he doesn't have anything to do with those decisions. He said that "management decided to make a few substitutions but they're pretty good" and didn't provide any further elaboration. I ordered the appetizer lamb lollipops which had four small pieces for $25. My friend decided to try the "happy hour" cheeseburger and he said it was good but it did appear a bit overpriced for an average burger with a pretty hefty serving of french fries. I really wasn't impressed by the quality of the food, the portion size, the price, or the service. Unfortunately, I'll be taking Rough Rider off my list of regular places i frequent and restaurants I recommend to others.

No major complaints, but nothing pulling me back either. I'm adding a fourth star on a bit of a hunch--I'd like to think they can dial it back in if I return.

To be fair, the restaurant IS on the smaller side, but there was 0 communication during that half hour on what was going on... which isn't really good for us either. We got the original set, and this somewhat confused me as well. The food was really good, and was definitely a restaurant that I'd go to for the experience, but for some reason some of the meats were doubled while others weren't. The double portions were really nice since our party was so large, we needed to split the food between 4 different grills (so each table got 2 grills each, feeding 6-7 people in total or 3-4 people per grill), but then we had to share the portions where we only got one serving. It wasn't bad, but to me, didn't make sense. The food was really good though; I didn't care too much about the soup, but the green sauce was SO good. Mixing a little with the soup was incredible. I thought the beef and pork were really good. I personally left the restaurant full, but many others in my party did not. I think it's a really good amount of food for 2 people, but when you push to 3+, you probably do not want to come hungry. Also--the live music at Pemberton next door is SO LOUD, you're going to be shouting at your table the entire night when you sit outside. I think I would come back if I wanted to show this place to someone who didn't live here, but it isn't on the top of my list for when I'm trying to eat out, but I will definitely consider this for special date night occasions. It is extremely expensive for what it is though. For $70+ you risk the chance of leaving not full which SUCKS.

I just think they're lacking in some senior leadership and you could tell that the place is being ran by people that are pretty young. This was my first time going to snooze and i really wanted to like it. They came to my work advertising their opening so I was excited to go. Once we got there, we were seated right away and asked what we wanted to drink. After that we recieved attitude from the server when we both tried to use the coupon they gave us a work. THEY GAVE US COUPONS FOR FREE PANCAKES AND WOULD NOT EXCEPT THEM BOTH. There were no restrictions on the card. After that, my friend ordered the vegan pancakes and the server asked if she wanted bacon. Anyone with two brain cells would know that vegans do not eat meat, so why did he ask if she wanted bacon? Our food was delivered by someone else who was must kinder and personable. We enjoyed conversing with him. Our server never asked if our food was good, if there was anything he could get us, and never filled my water. The food itself was underwhelming and I feel like I could have made the same thing myself. Presentation was sloppy and unappealing to the eye. My friend still had two pancakes to eat (she only got 3 pancakes to being with) and the server gave us the bill. I was going to order a side but it seemed like he was pushing us out. He never introduced himself to us so on the way out I asked the hostess what his name was. She was unsure but guessed his name was Brandon. We will not be going back. I am super upset because I really wanted to like this place. If any managers of this place are reading this, I hope Brandon gets trained in customer service skills and that this can be resolved so that no one else experiences Snooze the way that we did. I attatched pictures of the coupon they gave to me. There are no restrictions anywhere. We were there for less than 30 minutes. The bartender, Katjya or Kat, who has blue or teal highlights, came across as snobby and somewhat rude during my visits. While she was polite to certain patrons, I personally felt uncomfortable and unwelcome due to her demeanor. For instance, when my brother voiced a complaint regarding his Bloody Mary, her response was dismissive and confrontational, which was off-putting. Very consistently delicious. The food is my favorite breakfast food in downtown, I wouldn't waste your time with breakfast b or Matt's. The avocado benny, shrimp and grits, monte cristo sandwich, and the OMG French toast are some of my favorites. I also really love that this restaurant does good things for the environment such as composting and recycling and using organic foods too really makes a difference. Snooze is a great chain. Dining solo may result in extended wait times or being prioritized behind larger groups.
