Wanted to rent some snorkel gear for a day or 2. Saw the ad in one of the weekly pamphlets for them and it said $9 rentals. The hotel I was in told me they would charge me $18, so I headed to snorkel bobs. They were telling me $11 for gear so I mentioned the ad. They said they have old school equipment for that price. It looked like it was from the 1950s. No thanks! Nice little bait n switch here. It was too late to go back to the hotel so we bit the bullet and rented from them. Guy working wasn't the most personable and kind of rubbed me the wrong way, but I guess he was efficient and functional. They specialise in their own gear and it worked quite well actually. They also offer boat tours and other activities, but I just opted for the rental.

Kuiaha!

Great service, good product with upgrade options. Weekly rental is well worth it over paying hotel prices.

THAT'S what my wife and I experienced on this utterly stupendous helicopter flight!! From the moment I booked with Jana, who answered all our questions and briefed us before the flight, I knew this was the absolute best helicopter tour in Maui! And Nick with his 20,000 hours and 37 years of flying (20 years in Maui) was safe, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun! I'm a retired Air Force pilot with 22 years of experience. He was absolutely outstanding and made my wife and I feel totally at ease! We saw waterfalls and valleys that are not accessible any other way than a helicopter. And having the doors off made it a premier experience and epitome of "free" flying. Thanks Jana and Nick - you made this flight a highlight of our travels!!

The plane went up and landed smoothly without a stomach dropping feeling. We were instructed to wear headphones that blocked the helicopter sounds and listen to the tour guide. He explained and told us what we were looking at. We also had to share the helicopter with another couple. The helicopter had a front row for the pilot and assistant. Then after that there were two rows for tourists. I wished the tour was private and only for my group but then that would have been more money. The views were so cool! I got to see the floor and land shrinking and all the houses small like lines when I was up in the sky. The ocean looked so clean and blue! We also got to fly above mountains. There was so much grass everywhere. I got to take a lot of pictures. The bad thing was that the window of the plane had a reflection from the sun so my pictures got reflections. The whole tour was kind of short. We got to purchase a picture next to the helicopter as a memento. I had to pay for the picture and it was pricey. They framed the picture in a thick folding pcard

We were in Maui for our super late honeymoon and wanted to go snorkeling. Upon searching on Yelp I came across Snorkel Bob's and loved how close it was to our hotel. Tabitha was so kind and detailed going over everything we would need for the day and recommendations. Not only was she super knowledgeable about the equipment, she gave us a map of all the best places to go snorkeling for the day in the area. She even gave some great restaurant recommendations. We went to one of the beaches she recommended. There was free parking and a cute little picnic area along with bathrooms. The equipment itself worked great. I on the other hand had panic attacks trying to wear the mask and going in the water, so I only saw some fishies. I'm bummed my anxiety kept me from enjoying snorkeling more, but the next time we're out here, and I hopefully grow a pair by then lol, I will ABSOLUTELY be back at Snorkel Bob's. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ollie was on duty and he could not have gone more out of his way to make me feel like I was a piece of crap for even trying to explain my issues. Sorry goes a long way. My sorry is I will never be back or rent from this company again.

The whole crew was very friendly and knowledgeable, but more importantly everyone made us feel safe during the whole trip. The entire experience was amazing and the video we took with us captured the whole thing for us to review and enjoy again. The fluffy cloud cover gave way to a slightly misty and broken front, with the Big Island's coastline calling us closer. The long black sand beach of Waipio Valley gave way to cascading waterfalls dropping hundreds of feet down sheer remote cliffs. We were lucky the drought was recently punctured by rain, replenishing the splendorous sight! We ducked into a canyon for a closer look -- everyone was entranced, overjoyed to see such wonders. Lucky for us no one was nervous, we all were relaxed and ecstatic. Whales came to the surface when we returned to the Hapuna area, it truly was magical, a solid check for my bucket list! At the age of 73, I am now using a walker and so this was a treat. (A short ramp leads into the office in Waikoloa, there is a bathroom inside the building, if you have trouble walking, do not rush to use the bathrooms outside to the left of the building, they are harder to navigate. Once inside and everyone heads to the helicopter, the ground crew will open the gate so you can roll back down the ramp to walk level instead of using the steps out back from the porch like everyone else. Crew will assist you getting into the helicopter if you able to stand up but you will need some arm strength to pull yourself into the seat, the overhead grab bar gives the necessary swing point.) We had a great time with Kaj, being locals, we are looking forward to seeing him in the water at Pine Trees, the Kohanaiki Park is great for watching surfers and enjoying some lunch bought from Pine Trees Cafe, nearby (go all the way to the bay for closeness to the showers and restroom). Yeah, I'm gonna plug my favorite spots! The helicopter ride will be loud (they give you headphones to block), and will be like riding a vibration disk. I loved it. So relaxing. There are 3 microphones shared by the six people riding, otherwise you will be reduced to using body language, not hard to decipher arched eyebrows, open mouths. I did not realize that Kilauea had fountained the night before, glad I did not know because maybe we would have taken the option of cancelling when they offered it, due to the buffeting winds and slight mistiness. I know that others did reschedule, perhaps thinking it was going to be disappointing. But we were gungho, why not? They promised that if we had to turn around due to weather, we would be reimbursed. To be fair, a fountaining volcano is not safe to be near and so it means staying far back. We have been here through three eruptions so we did not feel deprived. And, the fiery display was over by daylight. As a surfer I have watched and lived among the island's locals with fascination for two decades, as the aloha spirit transcends everything they do, and Blue Hawaiian has earned its place of honor. The company has donated lifesaving equipment over the years to the various beach parks and the lifeguard department, which is managed by our Fire Department. The staff I met embodies that spirit as well. From the moment we set foot in the door, the prep process for our trip was smooth, swift, and relaxing. I hope you have as much as we did. Its a full 24 hours later and I am still buzzing from the natural high! Grab a friend or two, or five, and take the ride of your life!

We are on the Island of Maui and have done many types of tours in many different places but when I…read moreread about The Maui Chocolate Tour they had me at CHOCOLATE! You can cover a work boot in chocolate and I would eat it, I am not ashamed to say that I am a "Chocaholic" as well as a "Chocosaurus". We met up at their factory located In Lāhainā, fabulous store and open air seating area above their factory. Great modern design and decor and fully operated on solar and Tesla back up battery's. Staff is very friendly and helpful, but the gem of the operation is "Rissi" our guide. He was so knowledgeable of the operation and spoke so well of the growing process I could have listened to him all day and never got bored. He also integrated great things in about growing up on the island, the culture and his family background. Well done "Rissi" I wanna hang out with you. I learned so much about the plants, the natural growing methods Maui Chocolate uses and the process of refining Cocoa into chocolate. The tasting after the orchard tour was in a tree house above the orchards offering beautiful views of the orchard, views of Molokai and Lanai. Once you have tasted Maui Chocolate you won't eat anything else, you shouldn't because you are eating pure coco with only natural ingredients prepared the Maui Chocolate way. Do the tour, whether it's the factory tour or the orchard tour (I am a freak about gardening and growing) so I wanted to learn more about the trees and methods and I truly learned a lot about their natural growing methods. What really hit the heart most was Maui Chocolate donates 100% of it profits to charity, works with the community and also works with other countries on growing methods. Well done Maui Chocolate, you offer more than just chocolate goodness with your huge heart. And thank you "Rissi" for sharing your culture and history while taking care of business. We got to see the entire process of how chocolate is made from the cacao plant all the way to the final product. I also learned so much about dark chocolate which I never used to enjoy until now! During the tasting I sampled a variety of unique flavors coffee, guava, mango, and even sugar-free and each one was incredible in its own way. The quality and freshness were unmatched. I was so impressed that after returning home I ordered two shipments from Maui Chocolate because I just couldn't get enough. A quick tip: arrive a little early for your tour. I ran a bit late but was still able to join (thankfully!) and I noticed they run right on schedule. Overall this tour was a highlight of my Maui trip -- fun, flavorful, and full of learning. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island rain or shine!
