They see me within minutes of checking in for my appointments and Dr. Snow comes over to make sure everything looks good. They are good about making next appointment that same day. I'm very grateful to be finishing my Invisalign treatment and happy with my results. However, I did want to share feedback about my experience with the front desk.Throughout my treatment, I often found the staff to be unwelcoming and sometimes dismissive, both over the phone and in person. From start to finish my experience here has been absolutely awful. I paid nearly $8k to be treated poorly and still leave with misaligned teeth. The service is rude. I felt rushed every appointment. My doctor never listened to my concerns and my teeth are still crooked after me following every instruction they gave me. When my treatment was "finished" they said if I wanted to continue care to get my teeth straight I would have to pay an additional $4000 to do so because my contract was only for two years. If that doesn't sound like a complete money grab I don't know what does. My ortho also INTENTIONALLY made my teeth slanted to "align" them with another tooth. So 3 months of my treatment were to back track his "mistake" I have completed my treatment and had my retainers for less than a year . My bottom PLASTIC retainer has cracked purely by wearing it. So because the material is not durable to with stand long lengths of wear you're looking at $550 nearly once a year for a new one. Do not come here. They proved it's only about the bottom line. My kids dentist retired before orthodontic treatment was complete. We were sent to Dr. Snow's office to complete their treatment. The orthodontist met us, discussed our plan with the retiring office, we all agreed the kids would get 10 more months of treatment. They adjusted my younger son exactly once. On the second visit they told me to continue would cost me another $1500 minimum. They saw my older son maybe 3 times. I moved offices and didn't say a word. They hadn't noticed my kids not getting seen for over 10 months before they called to check on us. If I was going to spend the money to finish treatment I would rather it be with an office I selected on my own. If you are in the Antelope Valley keep shopping, this place isn't it. read more

If your kid needs an extender, Medi Cal covers it. The appliance code is D8220 and you can call medi cal and get the authorization for this to be free. SNOW will not tell you this, because they want you to pay 5k for everything and they could care less about medically necessary procedures, they just want to make money off you for cosmetic procedures for children. read more

My daughter goes here and loves Mariah, she keeps her informed of what's next in her treatment and she makes her feel comfortable with her treatment. She gets to know my daughter so every time we go in she's checking in on how she's doing in life. Sometimes our teenage daughters need to be inspired by other young ladies. Mariah really makes us feel like family and not just another patient of the orthodontist. My daughter looks forward to her appointments and treatments with Mariah. Had a great experience with my 3 kids, almost 8 years total of coming here. My kids teeth look great. They are super friendly and very accommodating when it comes to getting wires on and off for dental cleaning, I would usually call the day before and they would always squeeze us in. Deisy and Edwin were great all this time. Have another little one who might be needing braces in a few years, will definitely be bringing him back. read more

If you are looking for flexible appointments, this is not the place for you. They do not offer weekends or after 5 PM appointments. They only schedule certain procedures in the a.m. which means that someone who works a Monday through Friday Job has no other choice but to have to take a day off of work. They have multiple office locations, however if you want to switch to a different location, you have to schedule a new consultation and then schedule appointments after that appointment which further delays your treatment . I wished I would have done more research and obtained consultations from other orthodontist providers. read more

I went to my first appointment and they took my wire from my braces off there excuse was that I didn't brush my teeth good which got me thinking because at my last dentist before they switched locations they said that i brushed my teeth very good. Later on I went to three of my appointments which I payed $120 each visit just for them to take a look at my teeth and tell me I had to brush better I even bought a decent water flosser and increased flossing and they didn't even budge to put my wire back on so I stopped paying and they started calling and I told them straight up I'm not going to pay $120 for me not to get anything done that it wasn't part of my contract. I also let them know I had an appliance for my jaw to expand an it had fell off instead of putting it back on they took it and never put it on again which can cause me to later on in the future need jaw surgery which if that's the case I will sue because all this could've been avoided if they weren't scammers supposedly one of the "best" ortho and they look like they got there career from an online site , very bad at there job and they don't even help! read more

I'm typically not the type of person to write negative reviews but I just had the worst appointment experience I've ever had so felt one was needed. I've been seeing Snow orthodontics for over 3 years now for my invisalign treatment that was supposed to take 1.5 to 2 years. Appointments at the Palmdale office are nearly impossible to get within a timely manner. Good luck trying to reschedule your appointment. I usually have to wait over a month or two to been seen if I have to reschedule. I've rescheduled at the Lancaster office to be seen sooner and both times have been a disaster so I would not recommend that office either. I've experienced too many issues overall to list here. I tried contacting someone in charge to express my complaints but I was told "Lyndsay" was too busy to take my call. So instead I spoke with someone at the Lancaster office who brushed off my complaints. Looking forward to finishing my treatment so I don't have to deal with Snow Orthodontics again. read more

I'm so happy I found Snow orthodontics for my son Aaron!! What a wonderful clean place the moment you walk in, and the staff have smiles on there faces! Right away they took him back for a consultation. And then after Stephanie was amazing she took us back and went over all the paperwork, answered all our questions, and just like that she said we can do his braces today! We were so surprised. My son started getting nervous lol but she brought out Christian that took Aaron to the back and made him feel at ease and explained the process to him. Aaron said Christian was great!! AVOID DR. SNOW! This place is super aggressive. They recommended unnecessary orthodontic appliances and oral surgery! I know this because I went to 3 other orthodontics in the AV and no one else recommended the oral surgery (one other place did recommend appliances, but different ones!). Do your homework! Staff is really friendly, but I wish someone had warned me about INVISALIGN. If you pay 5k for a treatment and they tell you the estimated time for your treatment is 1 year, but you go past 1 year because you still don't like your teeth (invisalign isn't as accurate as metal braces) even though you told them specifically what you didn't like before they scan your teeth again for a new set of trays, but when you receive your trays you can tell just by looking at the last tray your teeth will still be crooked in the area you told them you didn't like, they will just tell you, you have to pay an additional fee to continue. 5k is a lot of money to still not be happy with my smile, I'm so disappointed. I never write reviews, but when I decided to read the reviews of Dr. Dan, I was glad to see i wasn't the only one who couldn't take it anymore. I started my invisalign journey about 3 years ago. DR.Mike was my DR when I started and it seemed like everything was on track with my treatment plan. DR.MIKE WAS AMAZING!!!! All the sudden on one of my visits Dr. MIKE was not there. DR.Dan took over...one word.....HORRIBLE!!!! Any time that i would have a question, Dr. Dan would laugh, walk away...he could never answer any of my questions... Fast forward.....I couldn't take it anymore and found Dr.Mike at the Palmdale office. First visit with him was AMAZING..Although, it put a restart to my treatment, I have all the confidence in Dr. MIKE and his TEAM!!! read more

The orthodontist said that I can't get braces because of the condition of my teeth and I can only get the visinline and I went to a different orthodontist and I was able to get braces and at an affordable price. I am so disappointed by their service. I took my daughter for consultation, they were nice and gave me all the information, unfortunately I couldn't make a decision same day because I had to discuss it with my ex husband, since he will pay also half of the treatment and I need his consent. I have been calling them several times, sent emails, and no response by their end. They tell me that will give my message to the correct person in charge of billing and will get back to me with a response to start the treatment and nobody calls me. It has been over a month (Feb 21,22) was the last time I was able to speak to Stephanie from Snow Orthodontist. When you're out wearing your employers' name on your clothing, be aware how you act in public. You are the brand that represents that place of business and how it treats their customers and transactions. I wasn't going to bother leaving a review for this place, but Miriam (the one and only treatment coordinator) poked the bear and here I am. Let me preface this with some advice: Get multiple consultations before deciding on an orthodontist. At least 3-4. You will get different treatment recommendations. Some orthodontists will recommend appliances, some will recommend extractions, and some will recommend oral surgery. Getting 3-4 consultations will give you an idea of what is actually needed by comparing what is uniformly recommended, and what is not. I had a consultation for my kids at Snow Orthodontics in Palmdale. I was completely bombarded and overwhelmed with the information that was provided, so I asked which kid critically need braces and moved forward with getting a repeat of that particular consultation. One of the things recommended was the removal of my kid's wisdom teeth - we're talking oral surgery! Our insurance covered orthodontic treatment at Snow Orthodontics, however their oral surgeon was not covered and is expensive. I found an oral surgeon covered by our insurance and scheduled a consultation. I asked Miriam at Snow Orthodontics if she could send them my kid's x-rays and a referral of what needed to be done. Miriam said she'd send it by the end of that week. The following week (and the week of our consultation appointment with the oral surgeon covered by our insurance) I found out that the oral surgeon was still waiting for the x-rays and referral. I called Miriam but couldn't get a hold of her. I left her multiple messages but time was running out and our appointment was fast approaching. So, I called the main line for Snow Orthodontics and asked to speak with someone else as this was time sensitive, but was told that I would have to speak with Miriam as she is the ONLY treatment coordinator. Was this a taste of what I'd have to deal with during my kid's 2-year orthodontic treatment? Having to speak with ONLY Miriam, and her not being available or returning my calls? No thanks. Miriam finally called me back and said she sent the x-rays but that they only send referrals for patients they are currently treating, and since they weren't currently treating my kid (remember, we're still at the consultation phase here), she couldn't (or wouldn't) send it. Well, why didn't she say this when I originally called and made this request? Because in actuality, the oral surgeon doesn't need an actual "referral", but rather they need to know what Snow Orthodontics is recommending so they can provide us a consultation based on that. But Miriam decided to play the word game with me to avoid sending it. At that point, I was done. With Miriam. With Snow Orthodontics. With everything to do with braces. After putting off braces for a month, I got other orthodontic consultations elsewhere. And guess what! Not only did my kid NOT need appliances, she did NOT need oral surgery either! Fast forward to today. Guess who calls me out of the blue? MIRIAM. Now she's calling me to get me to bring in my other kid for a consultation. I told her "No, I'm good" and was going to leave it at that. But she poked the bear. She wanted to know if not now, maybe later? I told her NEVER. She then had the nerve to ask why. So, I let her have it. I recapped what transpired months ago to refresh her memory. Then she had the audacity to try to explain herself again. I finally cut her off and told her "YOU'RE THE REASON I WON'T COME BACK TO SNOW ORTHODONTICS!!!" and ended the call. And there you have it. Miriam is the main reason I will NEVER take my kids back to Snow Orthodontics. The other (major) reason is because they recommend unnecessary treatment. BOTTOM LINE: Had I gone with Snow Orthodontics based on only their consultation, my kid would have had unnecessary oral surgery (and would have had to been put under general anesthesia), and the entire treatment would have been way more expensive (we're talking THOUSANDS more) than it should have been. DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE. Don't go with the first consultation you get, until you have a few to compare with. Side note but worth mentioning: Dr. Snow never saw us during the consultation. The only interaction we had with him was when he called the night before our original consultation appointment (at 8pm!!!) to make sure we were still coming. What also rubbed me the wrong way is that he visits elementary schools to give "free consultations". That right there would have turned me away, however they have a lot of good reviews here and were covered by our insurance. But the experience I had with Miriam was the final nail in the coffin. read more

I paid $4,560 for Invisalign and I have been in treatment for over 4 years now, and it has been the biggest waste of time. On 3 separate occasions I have told the Dr that I wanted metal braces because my teeth haven't been shifting the way they should have, especially since I have been in treatment for 4 years (and my teeth weren't bad I just had an overbite). So today I finally told them I'm tired of wasting more time with Invisalign and I wanted metal braces to get rubber bands and fix my overbite. They tried to tell me that it would be an additional $2,250 because my teeth have taken longer than their original estimated treatment time of 9 months. After some arguing they told me that they would waive the fee, but if my teeth take more than 8-12 months to be corrected with braces then they would have to charge me. The sad fact is that I have worn my retainers as instructed and I haven't missed any of my appointments. The Dr ignored my concerns, my treatment plan, and the lack of progress in my teeth. Obviously, they do not care about your teeth, your money, or your time. DO NOT go here, they will ignore your treatment and just try to get more money out of you. I had braces by Dr. Theurer when I was a teenager, and I regret not going back to him this time. read more

Very bubbly and talked me through each step, asking if I had any questions instead of just digging into my mouth. She is personable and refrained from rudely speaking over my head to have personal conversations with coworkers. ZERO STARS - Please do not take your family members here. We have been dealing with their awful service for over six years due to the pandemic. We are leaving this place and will NEVER return and NEVER recommend this place. It is a shame because we have spent thousands and thousands out of pocket and they have treated us very badly. We saw Dr. Snow ONE TIME for the consultation and never again. It's a scam for sure. More trays, more time, more money, another contract, ........The office staff and management are extremely rude, condescending, unaccommodating, and downright mean while they ask "How can we make you smile today?" The front desk punishes the kids if they can not make it to an appointment due to sickness, charges a punishment fee and harasses parents with emails, and then they will reschedule the appointment months down the road, sabotaging the progress. Meanwhlle on hold, the messages are "....we accommodate your schedule." "...we appreciate your thoughtfulness in rescheduling." The technicians used to be just like this, scolding parents and kids; but after several complaints, the technicians are much better now, and I noticed they are new employees. All in all, it is a shame that so many of us wanted the best for our kiddos, willing to sacrifice financially and provide jobs and a paycheck for people in the community, only to be treated unkindly and unprofessional, and ultimately have to go somewhere else to continue treatment. read more

Staff is great, very friendly. Doctor Snow Sr, did our consultations, and that was the only time we ever saw him in 6 yrs. Dr. Snow Jr is very nice and knowledgeable. They are very thorough but almost too much. Myself, and my 2 sons all got braces. I had the "clear" braces, which after 2 yrs I asked for them to be removed because they are very sharp and often cut my cheeks. I had braces when I was a teen, so I didn't need much done. With my younger son, they suggested two treatments because he was still missing some adult teeth. They put braces on just the front teeth til other teeth came in. When they did, they wanted to charge me all over again for new set, so I ended up going with another provider. With 1st son, he had braces put on (2013), he still had them on almost 6 years later (sept 2018). He went all of junior high and high school, and they finally took them off on his 18th birthday only because I demanded it and they had me sign an AMA form. Even though staff was very nice about it, they could not give me an explanation why the braces were on for so long. For the last 2 years of he treatment, they kept telling me "soon", till finally I said no more, take them off. As far as recommending this place, it's up to you. During a mix up one day, Reilly went out of her way to get it sorted out for us so we did not fall behind on our treatment schedule. Wait is too long, came in today for 9:30 am appointment sat down at 10:00 am and waited again for another 30 minutes. They double stack appointment, make you sit and wait at their working chair while they work at another. This place is turning into an hour wait for an appointment! I was offered a free consultation so I made an appointment. First impressions are very important and based on my experience I probably will take my business elsewhere. The receptionist didn't even acknowledge me as I walked in and after she got off the phone she pointed to a computer to sign in. Apparently they didn't have my appointment on file but she had me fill out paperwork anyways. After waiting for about 45 minutes, I only spend a few minutes with the Dr. Let me rephrase that; the Dr. came in, spoke in code to the financial specialist about the work that needed to be done and left the room, leaving me to ask the financial specialist about the braces. I didn't feel comfortable asking questions to someone who won't be performing the work. This is such a shame because Teri, who I met at an event was so nice and helpful but no one else in the office was. read more
