We just switched over from another local dental to First Class Dental since our daughter needed braces. Staffs and doctors are very nice and friendly to customers. Dental services and fee was very very competitive. The place was very clean and spacious with large room for their client and a parent inside the room. Even thought there are closer dental offices we prefer to have our daughter go here for her braces and full Dental care. Overall, highly recommended. read more

Not much wait when I was going for cleanings, so i added a star. Received two root canals here, 1st was a disaster, 2nd went well. So leaving a 2 star review. For the first root canal My issue was that Dr. ignored my comments about being overly sensitive for more than a year which I calculate closer to 2 years, and said i just needed maintenance, and it's normal. Dr. offered implants instead of addressing root canal failure when a pimple started growing. For this reason, i went for 2nd opinion and got a 2nd root canal by endodontist who specializes in this, no more sensitivity issue when biting.. if i knew it was reinfected, I could have addressed issue much sooner and not deal with overly senstive tooth when biting for close to 2 years. 2 stars. read more

Poor time management/long wait time: I arrived 15 mins early for my 4 pm appointment because I knew I would likely have to fill out paperwork since it was my first visit. After filling out the paper work fairly quickly, I then sat and waited 35 mins to be called back to take my X-rays. I was asked to step back into the lobby and wait to be called back. I was called into a room fairly quickly, but then waited another 35 mins in a room to be seen by a dentist. In total I was in the office for about 2 hours, with only 45 mins of that actually being treated, the rest was just waiting to be seen. Great service: The staff, dentist & dental assistants were all amazing and provided great service. I had a long list of questions & concerns and they went through each one with me. When it came down to coverage and payment they went through each procedure & my coverage which I appreciated. I mainly gave a 3 stars because of how long the process took to be seen & actually serviced. If I make an appointment I expect to be seen at my appointment time and not be waiting for my turn. read more

I wasn't aware that this place will take 1 whole hour to up-sell you braces - they called it "consultation". Then you have to wait another 30 minutes for the cleaning lady to come.... So.... I left... FYI: Be aware - If you're new patient, put 2 hrs on your schedule for a cleaning. Initially gave a good review but if I could give them zero now, I would. On my 6 year old daughters last visit I was told she had no cavities and to make an appointment to have coatings put in her back teeth to protect them. Went in to appointment today and as soon as they sat us in the exam room I was handed a consent form for 4 fillings and anesthetic injections. I told them that we weren't there for that and that we were told she didn't have any cavities. Dental assistant insisted she did and that the appointment was for fillings. I again said that's not right. She looked at the chart again and said she did and when I again protested she said she had to talk to someone. Came back and told me we had to wait for the dentist to get back from lunch. Once she returned she looked in my daughter's mouth and checked her teeth against the chart. Three noted cavities were NOT in her teeth and there was only one very minor one on a baby tooth. No explanation as to why her chart was wrong. I left. They either are really bad at their jobs or scam artists trying to charge for work on a 6 year old that didn't need to be done. I had this dentist for over 3 years and their service is terrible. I had my wisdom teeth pulled, implant and braces done here. I had a bad experience with all 3. The orthodontist doesn't ever say Hello or tells you what is going on with your teeth. They don't give you any information on after care when I got my wisdom teeth pulled and they make you sign off for implants before even seeing it. They charge $50 if your 15 mins late but made me wait over an hour in the room waiting to be seen almost every time. They give you different pricing every time and they have charged my insurance twice for the same service. Please try a different dentist. I've had too many terrible experiences here and the only reason I kept coming was because I was stuck with them for two years with my braces. read more

Both me and my son had a horrible experience. We had fillers done and they fell off within 2 months. My son ended up with a huge hole/gap between his front teeth. The did not want to fix it the same year since the insurance would not cover it. My husband redid all his silver fillers for porcelain ones and regrets it now since he has extreme sensitivity on the teeth he had them work on. I don't recommend this place. read more

DO NOT. I REPEAT. DO NOT COME HERE. Save your money and go elsewhere. It might be cheaper than other places, but there's a reason why. I had work done to my teeth and I wasn't satisfied. All the work was done by one of the assistants. Not one time did the actual doctor there (Dr. Trieu) touch my teeth during the procedure nor even look at the final result. He doesn't care how you feel about results he only cares about the money. I was unhappy with the results, so I spoke with the assistant and explained I was unsatisfied. She said they'd fix it at no additional cost. I go to my next appointment hoping to start the process. I didn't want all the work to be redone, I just wanted to find a solution to fix the minor problem. Dr. Trieu checks my teeth and tells me what we can do to fix the problem. At this point I'm happy. Minutes later while sitting down, I get hit with a bill for the same amount of money I had already paid. He really tried to re-charge me for the whole thing. He comes over and tells me he isn't going to redo anything nor come to an agreement. I told him the assistant had already told me they'd fix it at no additional cost. He didn't believe me. He calls the assistant over and tells me to repeat what she had said to me. He tells her "Did you say this"? She says "Yes I did". He then switches everything and says "but I didn't say that, so I'm not fixing anything". He then started to be rude and very unprofessional with little remarks he said to me. I tell him that all this is clearly a lack of communication. I told him I was willing to come to an agreement. I told him to meet me half way. He said NO. I asked if I could talk to someone else. He said "I'M IT" and that's where he left off with me. Turns out to be that he is part owner of the office. I couldn't believe that the actual owner treats people this way. After this experience I talked around and this isn't the first time he does this. I heard over 5 stories just like mine (unsatisfied customers). You get what you pay for I guess. I run a very successful local business here in the A.V. I will never recommend this office to anyone and I will be sure to tell everyone to not come here. Word of advice "Dr. Trieu" treat the people that make you money better. Just because you're in a higher position doesn't mean you can walk all over people, especially if they want to come to an understanding with you. I'm going to use my platform and voice I have here in the city. If you're reading this and find yourself in the same situation I'm in. Don't feel helpless. Call the credit card company that approved you "CARE CREDIT" and let them know your situation. They will fight for you. Update: The teeth that they put in ended up falling out. A couple of months ago I was searching for a good dental clinic to get a deep cleaning and I came across "First Class dental" more like "Low Class Dental" I decided to book an appointment with them because I saw that they had great reviews and at the time they had 5 stars with no complaints. When I first walked in the staff was friendly and the place was really nice and clean. While waiting in the lobby the receptionist said that if I wrote a 5 star review I would get a $5 gift card for Starbucks. Of course I fell for the trap. I mean who wouldn't? I'm guilty as well. So basically they were buying their stars. Anywho when I saw the doctor he said I needed braces and he was persistent about it. Again, I fell for the trap! Because he convinced me. I told the Dr. I didn't want to get the braces until after my deep cleaning because my gums were swollen. He said "Get the braces, and once we get approval from your insurance for the deep cleaning we will get them off at no cost." I got my braces on my first Dr. Visit. A couple hours after I got them my Bracket fell. When I looked at the bracket it looked like cheap material and obviously they use cheap glue. I go back to have them fix my bracket and they blamed it on me. That's already a red flag. I followed the diet on point and my brackets kept falling. It happened several times in a month. I ended up getting an infection!! But ofcourse they didnt want to take responsibility for it. So 2 months later... I go back for my deep cleaning appointment and they wanted to charge me to take off my braces for the deep cleaning! When that wasn't the agreement. I got so upset I decided to go somewhere else. Please stay away from this place! They use cheap material, they are disorganized with paper work and payments, and the Dr. is either lazy or unprofessional because he wont do the work he has his nurses do it. Nobody likes to have dental work done, especially 30 weeks pregnant me, but I had developed an abscess that was grossing me out and I needed it to be taken care of asap. My first call to First Class Dental was such a pleasant experience speaking to Marie. She answered my questions as I was very concerned with what treatments would occur since I'm pregnant. With her taking the time to explain over the phone and the great Yelper reviews it made me schedule my first appointment with the office. Right when I arrived at my appointment to the very end of my spontaneous root canal (yes...ugh), I felt very comfortable with the office and trusted Dr. Kang to be my dentist. I can't tell you the full details that went on during my visit, but the staff: Jessica (my cookie lifesaver), Mike, Marie, and Michelle are very awesome and personable! The office is modern and clean. Might I add they have Netflix for your enjoyment during your cleaning! I would recommend First Class Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist or looking for a new one. read more

So I got number of seals done on a number of my teeth due to precavities. I was back in two weeks as 3 of them had come out. I was back again in a month later as 4 more came out. I went to another dentist and he said "you just got this done... it doesn't make sense". Dr. Seung Kang is now not wanting to refund my money after messing up my teeth. I now have to have another dentist to fix all of this. It would have even been better if he has messed my teeth up in this way and refunded me to help me with getting it fixed but he also wants to keep my money!?! read more

And I cannot chew anything I told them my filling hurt and was super sensitive to cold and hot stuff it hurts to drink ice water and hurts to chew and they still filled the other 3 on the bottom and don't do anything about the other tooth so now I can't chew on that side because it hurts to even chew a piece of bread and I can't chew on the other side because thleg drilled my tooth a month ago and there is a fat ass hole in my tooth super close to my nerve and I'm getting food it in every time I chew and it hurts so bad I'm so upset I can't eat anything and my next appointment isn't for 2 weeks I'm calling on Monday and complaining also I can't switch dentist till they do my root canal and the tooth I "need" a root canal on it didn't even bother me at all. Was looking for a new dentist when I moved back to Lancaster and I'm glad I found this place on yelp! I chose it based on all the high reviews and I must say it deserves the high rating. The staff is very friendly and attentive, especially Jessica in the front desk. I've seen Dr. Kang twice so far and they got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time during both visits. I got 3 crowns done here and my dental work was quick, painless, and most importantly, the crown fittings came out perfect!! Dr. Kang was very attentive to make sure everything lined up well and felt comfortable. I just recently graduated and moved back home an hour away, but honestly, I'm going to continue coming here to get my dental work done from now on. It's been a while since I went to the dentist. I kept thinking that through all these years of brushing and flossing, I'd be fine without going through regular checkups. Well, it finally caught up to me and my tooth became pretty sensitive and a small pain started. I heard through a friend about this place and decided to go here to take care of my toothache. I was able to get an appointment with no problem. Xrays were easy and quick and the dental assistants were nice and friendly. The dentist, David Kang, was really helpful in explaining the problem and answering my questions. My problem was taken care of in a short time and I got my cleaning in as well. I guess I should be going back regularly since I don't want to feel this discomfort again. I'll definitely come back here and make this my place. I was recommended by a friend to go to this Dental Office for Ortho. For years I have been terrified to get braces and now especially as an adult I was more worried about how I would look with metal in my mouth. But I saw that they have the option for ceramic brackets and this was a plus for me! I really needed braces because I needed to fix the alignment of my teeth for my jaw to feel better. It was getting to the point where every time I would eat my jaw would get stuck. So I need to get it treated before it got worse. I went for my free consultation and from the moment I entered I felt welcomed and at ease. The Dr. was really nice! He was so kind and I loved how he took the time to answer all my questions and cleared away all my fears. He was very meticulous and observant and I liked that because I knew he would help me get my teeth and jaw to how I wanted. They also offered me the option to pay off my teeth monthly which worked out great! It's now been a year and 2 months and I'm ready to get my braces taken off next week! I'm so happy with the results and I really appreciated the Doctor for always taking time to listen to my concerns about my teeth and fixing it the way I wanted them. Plus! Ceramic Braces are Amazing! You can barely even notice them and they look so cool with the colored bands. Sure they are a bit more pricey but for me, it was worth every Penny! read more

It just seems fake, you guys have a large staff and manipulating a review system has been known to happen, so I don't care how many reviews you got. My review is based on my experience and my experience was bad with you guys, there is no justification. State of the art equipment isn't meant to be an substitute of an skilled doctor or dentist or personal assistant. I would assume that smile dental being located all around has the funding for that same equipment and the only scan you did was a simple X Ray, nothing extraordinary. All in all you are making yourselves look bad by trying to justify your actions or lack thereof, it's pitiful to be honest, I'd also tread cautiously that you don't violate any patient privacy laws which it seems you may have already done, I will consult with a professional if need be, corporate lawyers are a dime of dozen. You also never mentioned that "any tooth can be saved" or that yes we can do it but the "crown won't hold for long" that's your opinion but all I know is my daughter has her tooth and for however long that lasts is perfectly okay to me, you guys honestly need to be shut down, you and that quack of an dentist, you have a huge staff but you don't run efficiently enough. Was scheduled back to have the tooth removed waited another two weeks, my daughter freaked out and was unable to proceed with getting the tooth removed however it didn't help that the guy taking the tooth out had no bedside manner whatsoever. We wasted a whole month on nothing at all it was totally useless but not completely, I took her to smile dental literally right next to the house and we found out that the tooth could be saved. much to my surprise we are very happy with the results she goes in soon for a root canal I am glad everything worked out as it did but I am honestly shocked at this place has good reviews I do not recommend them and I would definitely get a second opinion if what you go therefore does not go in your favor. They were absolutely lazy and unprofessional in assessing my daughter's tooth, she could have lost a molar!
