I should start by saying i havnt tried their sushi and its also because i dont trust to eat sushi from everywhere. Went for lunch with a friend during the week. The hostess was super nice and gave us a nice table since we had two stroller. It's has the typical Asian restaurant ambiance. The hot and sour soup was for sure on the saltier side & honestly wasn't that spicy. Garlic edamame was not cooked enough and was salty. I couldn't even finish the plate. The house salad was good & fresh and the dressing that came with it was light. I did order the cashew chicken and that was lacking a lot of flavor. Snow Pea has been a mainstay in the Lakeline area of town for many years now. I am glad they have re-introduced their happy hour, although it isn't as good a deal as it was prior to Covid. I hope they will bring back the deal where you can just get a couple of rolls, right now you have to get three, which is a lot for a single diner. It's a nice place inside, although a bit loud because it's all hard surfaces. I like their little patio when the weather is nice, it is an underrated spot to grab an afternoon drink. And surprise, surprise, they make an excellent mai tai, which is one of my favorite cocktails. My other recommendations are the 1604 and honey honey rolls. Their ahi tuna tower is also very good. Love this place and have been a loyal customer since the doors opened. Service is impeccable and food is always ready at pick up when ordering out. It pains me to write this but over the last two take our orders of combination fried rice, the rice was tough, meat over cooked and it tasted like it was old and sitting around for a while with a different flavor than we used to get. Went here yesterday for dinner and found this hate message over the men's urinal. I showed a member of the staff who responded, "Yeah, we know about that." That nonchalance doesn't cut it. In less than 30 minutes, someone could have gone to the local homedepot, purchased spackle, a trowel, some paint, returned to the restaurant, and performed the repair. My mom and I went on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't too busy. Which was nice for a casual weekend lunch. We got the Shrimp Dynasty and Garlic beef. + the scallion pancake, and shrimp spring rolls. Nicole was our waitress, who was amazing. She was kind and attentive. She spoke to us like we had been there many times before, Making us feel incredibly welcome. I love this place. It's tucked away at the end of a shopping center near HEB plus and AlamoDrafthouse. Everyone is friendly, great service every time I've been here. And that Teriyaki Chicken is some of the best Best Teriyaki Chicken I've ever had !!! It's a lot of meat with about a cup or so of veggies. I like to order the fried rice with it. The moment you walk in, you are greeted by the owner of the restaurant which is always a good sign. We came in on a Thursday night and were seated immediately. They have a wide range of options on the menu, so choosing was a bit difficult but we ended up with the Happy Family and Orange Peel Chicken. Both were fantastic! The happy family was the perfect variety I was looking for, and the the orange peel had so much flavor. To top it off, the food came out extremely fast and piping hot. If you like your food spicy, definitely make sure to ask for the hot oil that they make, you won't regret it. We will back again to try some other dishes on the menu! read more

A short time and the waiter showed up to take my order. I was feeling Chinese that day so I went with the chicken in garlic sauce. It comes with soup and one of the options is miso, my favorite. When my soup arrived it came out with the crispy wonton noodles. I haven't had those in ages. Great to have them again. The miso soup was good. I had a little time to relax after finishing my soup before my meal arrived. Looking around, I liked the décor. Although they should put away all the extra portable AC units. My plate came with a crispy egg roll, fried rice, and the chicken in garlic sauce. For the amount of times I order chicken in garlic sauce, why am I always surprised when it doesn't taste like garlic. Don't get me wrong, tasted great but no hint of garlic. There was plenty of chicken in the dish along with snow peas. It was enjoyable. I tried the fried rice and it had a little vegetables in it plus some seasoning which made it not bland. As for the egg roll, sufficient to say, I ate it all. This is saying a lot from a person who doesn't normally eat egg rolls. Pricing for lunch is extremely reasonable.
