Absolutely amazing salmon rolls at a great price! Most sushi is ridiculously overpriced in Utah. When I moved here, I didn't think I'd be able to find great sushi so far from the ocean, but this little restaurant pleasantly surprised me! I call in an order and it's ready in about 10-15 minutes (basically the time it takes to drive there). Sometimes I think the gal that takes your order also makes your rolls from time to time! Today we got yelled at bc we asked for lids on our children's water and the RUDE woman who runs the place didn't put the lids on the cups like she has for years. Almost Immediately our three year old accidentally spilled the water and BOOM! We get yelled at, reprimanded and treated like absolute trash. If you want mediocre sushi, probably loaded with parasites. Then go to this place. Terrible service, they can't keep staff bc of how RUDE the lady (I presume owner) is. This place doesn't look like much, but it's actually quite delicious! The restaurant is simple, but the seating is comfortable and the areas are all kept very clean. The sushi is very affordable and really tasty! I love their baked salmon roll, the Christmas roll and the Vegas roll. I come here often and everyone I bring is happy with their meal. The dining environment is excellent. It provides a very modern oriental feel. Things are very nicely laid out. The service is friendly. The sushi is actually very good for its price. I recommend the rainbow roll. Has a very sweet sauce and the mango isn't overpowering either. The kill Bill is a very very spicy roll. I can do a lot of spice but this took me by surprised. Third time calling to place a to go order for two orders of the salmon teriyaki. They always say they are sold out or just have one. This time they said they only had one available. I asked them why not two because I called right at 5pm. She explained that they only sell one or two a day. I told her we would like two then. She asked the chef and he changed his mind and wouldn't even sell us one. That's my last time calling them or walking into that restaurant ever. Their service is horrible. It's getting worse and worse. After tonight, we are done getting sushi here. We usually do take out. Tonight we ordered $60 worth of sushi. And very disappointed. Many of our rolls were in a large tray, which is fine...but they must have put the sushi in first and then drizzled the sauce. Our salmon skin rolls were smothered in eel sauce. Our eel rolls had no eel sauce. They went to the extra effort to separate our spicy CA rolls in a different container than our standard CA rolls. But there was zero difference between the two kinds of rolls. And the lady who seem to be in charge there is so very impersonable and rude. Bummer...because this is close to our house and we love sushi. read more

The food here is pretty delicious. I loved the gyoza and the crab cheese wontons. I had the Las Vegas roll and the Seafood Tempura roll (both deep fried) and they were both good (I liked Vegas more). The only problem was the service. Everyone is very nice but you can tell they are still learning how to work in a restaurant. We (two of us) didn't get any place settings until we received our rolls, after two appetizers, and we had to ask for them. We had to ask for refills as well. The waitress didn't introduce herself and another waitress who looked just like her started to help us so it was kind of confusing on who was who (lol). I absolutely adore this place. The decor is modern, it's clean inside, and most importantly, the sushi is amazing. It's better than most of the full price sushi restaurants in town. Everything is fresh, nothing tastes old or fishy, it's all great. I've tried almost everything on the menu, it's just wonderful. Full disclosure though, the service is not friendly. The decor was very nice and the tables and booths weren't cluttered with a bunch of unnecessary items. They do have a sushi bar where you can sit and dine as well. The service was wonderful. (and we can be a demanding group to serve ) All the sushi rolls and some of the sashimi were 50%off. The food presentation was creative and very eye pleasing! The food was very tasty and fresh.
