I stumbled across the new location on its opening weekend on the upper level, and I'm so glad I did. I had been going to their other spot about a mile up the road for a while but after a cold winter night of camping this ended up being the perfect post-adventure stop. The exterior already looks incredible, and it only gets better once you step inside. There's a beautiful fireplace, huge windows with great views, and a thoughtful mix of seating low tops, high tops, and spacious bar seating. That's just the upper level. The lower level wasn't open yet this weekend, but I took a peek and it looks incredibly cozy, with great wall decor and a really inviting layout. The food was fantastic and not just because I was coming off campsite meals. Everything was genuinely great. The cucumber appetizer dish reminded me of pepinos con chile and was especially good, and you really can't go wrong with the pizza here. The staff were also wonderful. You could tell they were adjusting to a brand-new space, but they were still warm, attentive, and clearly excited to be there. I'm already looking forward to coming back, especially after hikes and more camping trips. This place is going to be a go-to read more

This was my first time at this newer Snowpack location. The main restaurant was not open but the pizzeria on the lower level was so after a hike we decided to grab a few pizzas. It has is a relaxing and family friendly atmosphere. You grab a table and order using a QR code which also provides you a progress notification. Our pizzas took a little over 30 minutes. We all got a build your own which is nice when everyone wants something different. The beers selection was good but they didn't have a cider in tap which was disappointing. You could get canned seltzer as well if beer isn't for you. The crust was thick and crispy on the I it side with a bit of soft chewy dough in the center. Parts of my pizza crust were over cooked but still tasted good. The sauce and toppings were fresh. read more

Finally went to the new location. Ordered take-out. Because I can serve myself at home. I am glad because the place was very hot. I don't think I could've handled it. I was surprised such a big place and their take-out is at the bar. What? I felt bad for the people eating there. Not a good place for this. I opened the box up and was instantly disappointed. I was so irritated. We paid and walked out. We ordered the Detroit and wings. I have had a Detroit pie. This is NOT a Detroit pie. This was a square deep dish pizza. Way overcooked even had some burnt parts. Just not good. The wings were ok. Some were rubbery. Overall, meh. The server was very polite. May try when there is a different chef. Not sure. We were in the mood for some pizza and happy to see they were nearby where we were staying. Ordering was easy enough on their website but they didn't offer delivery. Food takes a while (pizza is about 30-45 mins) so it's good to know that when you order and to make sure you are not in a hurry. Our pizza was delicious. We created our own with olives, caramelized onions, garlic and ricotta. The crust was crispy and well done, while still light and airy. They have a sourdough crust which is very unique but not overpowering. We got a 16" and it was enough to easily feed 3-4 people or have leftovers with 2 people. We stayed and had lunch here on Saturday after Yoga (if you haven't come for yoga, highly recommend, Jen is great). There's plenty of seating both inside and outside - with the outside option offering the deck area, and 'the beach' with lots of seating, sunshine, and sand. We ordered at the bar, and it was nice to see the TV with estimated food times, for both sandwiches/salads, and pizza. Our two sandwiches took about 15 minutes, which I didn't think was bad. I think the Happy Hippy was made for me - it has all my favorite things - toasted ciabatta, with garlic mayo, guacamole, sprouts, cucumber, tomatoes, provolone, and I added on turkey. You sit down and eat and order online. I got the sesame chicken, and it was not good at all. However the pretzel bites, burger, and pizza, were all amazing! The food came out fast, and the bartender was so nice! It was definitely a mountain restaurant vibe. Overall it was pretty good and I would come again. read more

Was not impressed, very disappointed. No table service or waiters/waitresses. We got our own water, plates, condiments. Glasses were dirty, when we mentioned it bartender said oh ok and put them back in the stack. Water was bad. Have to go to the bar for drinks, and there's always a line. Seems like a very disorganized and unusual way of running a restaurant. Of course they ask for a tip as well once you place the food order. Buffalo chicken pizza was good. Have been a local for 20+ years, and will not be back and do not recommend this establishment. read more

Build your own pizza was awesome! The ingredients were fresh and the food was amazing. We came with the family. The pretzel bites were soft and hot! The honey mustard sauce had some horseradish in it I think... Extremely yummy. The wings were great. The burgers were wonderful... It's really cool when you order yourself from the QR code and they just bring it to your table. No fuss/no muss. Food was delivered quickly. Music was Pepe and fun. Prices were very fair. I was at Starbucks enjoying a coffee on the patio and thought I would try out the new SNOW PACK. A couple people at Starbucks told me how delicious the pizza was. I was just up from Denver, enjoying the patio at Starbucks. I walked over and the lady at the bar was very nice and kind told me how great the pizza was and the food. I ordered a 12 inch. With green pepper, onion and sausage and red sauce. I am sorry to say., The pizza was very flavorless especially the sauce tasted like tomato sauce. Unfortunately I've had better frozen pizzas to be absolutely honest with you. It was a lot of money also for a flavorless pizza. Unfortunately, I should've tried it there before I took it to go, but I didn't till I got back. I will never be back there, I can't trust the other food if the pizza is that lame, sorry. If you are any type of connoisseur for pizza, you will come to the same conclusion after your visit, but mind you, I only got the regular tomato sauce, pizza. This is just a heads up. You're certainly welcome to try it. Just be prepared for possible disappointment if you're looking For a great tasting pizza. Sorry to be so honest, at least the view is spectacular. Great pizza... they even have a gluten free (shudder) pizza that GF family said was really good. Beer is good and staff was extremely helpful. Snowpack is my favorite local gathering place! As a resident of Conifer for over 15 years, it's so nice to have a space to gather, fantastic food, and a variety of beverages! There are always so many events Mike hosts as well as live music. The menu continues to change and adapt, which I love. The new space is great, view spectacular, and the kitchen service is so fast! If you're in the mood for pizza, this is your spot. I've enjoyed every type of pizza I've ordered. The burger is great as well, however no fries available... just a bag of chips. The menu is a little sparse and there is no table service. They used to have a couple awesome sandwiches and salads but have unfortunately changed the menu. Hands down one of the best and most consistent burgers EVUH! Reminiscent of family grilling at the campsite, so incredibly delicious with a crisp exterior and juicy insides. Melted cheeses and juices dripping down your hands...grab extra napkins! Beautiful and fresh buns pull it together for the best burger in the mountains, perhaps Colorado. Pair it with a unique micro-brew and OMG's. The pizzas are also inspirational and the turkey sandwich...BEST! Give the kitchen a raise. We stopped in after a hike this weekend, and were super surprised at the quality food. We got the spicy cucumbers for our app, so good and so refreshing! We also ordered the buffalo chicken thin crust pizza, loved the crust but next time will ask for the Gorgonzola on the side, it was good but a bit overpowering for me. They had a great beer selection and the place was huge, it's the perfect place to stop off of 285 after mountain fun. We will be back! read more

Ordered a pizza on their website for pickup. It was ready when I arrived and the bartender retrieved my pizza. Looks like a really nice place with a huge bar when you walk in and I noticed a dog friendly patio in the back. I'll be back to have a few beers next time I drive through. Always delicious food. We e had the burgers, pizza, nachos and soup, all turned out delicious . Don't expect super fast service, but still always reasonable, and the food is worth it . The drinks you enjoy while waiting are great too. Great new location, also! Always loved the last location but this is a bit more elevated and spacious. We stayed at an airbnb here down the road and decided to come here. This place is definitely a local spot (not in a bad way). We started off with a side salad which had extremely fresh lettuce and was tasty. We then ordered the Detroit style pizza with pepperoni and garlic. My boyfriend and I are both from Detroit so we know Detroit style pizza very well and this is some of the best we've had! We were so impressed with the crispy crust and how it tasted. Only downside is that we did not taste the garlic at all but the pizza was so delicious it didn't even matter at that point lol. We then ordered a cocktail and headed to the patio which had a sand pit in the back. The only weird thing was that they had no captain morgan or any rum there! It was disappointing to see a full service bar with a stocked shelf not have such a basic liquor. I instead got the strawberry pina colada which tasted just like a miami vice! absolutely terrible experience, barely greeted after being told to go downstairs if you want it quiet and the radio was so loud it was just as loud as life upstairs then to find out we have to order with our QR code pay with our QR code and they will only bring us our food. I had to get up and go to the bar to get drinks. I had to get up and refill our own waters yet they still wanted a tip Pizza came out burned and and we had to send it back as they came out to say oh the oven was on too high, but they served it anyway Pretzel bites were stale and old Maybe this would be halfway decent for takeout pizza but I would definitely not recommend anybody this zero customer service and I didn't we left. read more

So many good things to say about Snowpack! We have been Snowpack fans for years and even more so since the move to their new location. As mountain natives, finding a hometown dining establishment with both superior food and drinks isn't always easy, though Snowpack has consistently been able to do just that- keep the local mountain vibes while offering food and drinks that are worth going back for over and over. Having only been to the taproom at the new establishment today we finally made it to the main level to try the new tapas- it was no surprise we were beyond impressed. The variety made it hard to choose and the pizza special was awesome. Beyond the consistently good food and drinks, the service is always great- it may be a "seat and order yourself" establishment, but the staff always makes it a point to chat with you, remember you and provide service with a smile. Perhaps It's a vibe in the evening / summer but as others Mentioned everything is self serving so you can't find a server to complain to when your food takes 45 Minutes in an empty restaurant. Once food did hit our table, I wish it hadn't. The worst wings I have ever had, rubbery, flavorless. And expensive AF. Two beers two things of wings cost an absolute fortune and they make you tip on top of it. Tip for who??? A fun place to visit after doing a local area hike. The beers were a reasonable size so I could try more than one. They had healthy and not so healthy options. I got some fried chimichanga thing and it was delicious but I paid for it later. My poor choices. But not just pizza. My friend got a very nice salad. Ordering was easy at the bar. PROs: ++ If you're hungry, there's a large menu featuring a variety of comfort foods including pizza (duh), burgers, shareables, and more. I noshed on a burger that I can't recall the name of at the moment, but it was a spicy number with jalapeños. ++ Snowpack Taproom and Pizzeria offers up a decent selection of craft brews both on tap and bottled/canned. I chose to sip on Weldwerks Brewing's Arctic Tundra Boba imperial sour. It was delightful. ++ They offer up a music venue below the dinning area. How fun is that?! ++ There's a large "patio" type space out back called The Beach. This seems like a great place to soak up some sun! CONs: -- We easily waited an hour for our meals. Was it worth it? Eh, not really. -- If you opt to head down to The Beach, you're given a plastic glass to take your beer/beverage in. Not to mention, you have to head back upstairs and inside to get food, should you opt to order any. Without the outlandish wait for our meals, this probably would've been a four-star experience. Welp I guess yelp deleted my original review ...so here it tis again. Snowpack is a tradition after hikes and backpacking trips. We come more for the convenience back to Denver than anything else. Food is okay. Their pizza, sandwiches, and snacks are all decent but nothing really is wow....and we are talking after 4 days hiking eating freeze dried rat turds.. Beer: I still haven't found a beer on tap here that i really love...and it is pricey to boot. Service.....???? HUH??? ..or lack there of. You order on an app at your table and the loud speaker shouts your name and you pick it up....so when we have a large group of 10 ...everyone is eating at different times...and that sucks. I do love the beach area outside on a nice warm sunny day. Great parking in front. read more

Service is the pits. Scowls all around. Not friendly - none of them. Slow too. You can order food from your table, but have to wait in line at the bar to order drinks. Which would be fine if they were nice. Pizza is great, so grab it and go. Smells horribly like Fabuloso in there as well. Boo. read more

No waitstaff; if I wanted to get my own food, to-go box, and drinks, and drink refills I'd stay home! When I go out to eat I want to be waited on and served. If you have questions about the menu sorry too bad because there is no one to ask. You have to use your own phone to order and pay. To me this is sad for the community also because they could be giving a dozen jobs if they had staff. Menu is very limited, sad, and expensive IMHO. $18 burger and you don't even get fries. You get a bag of chips. Potato salad is $4 more. What? The upstairs was probably totally empty because of this. Downstairs was full because of the one positive -pizza was really good, but very pricey. A 16" supreme was $32. Okay folks this is Conifer, CO not DT Denver, Breckenridge, or Vail. New location is so much better. But bartenders and wait staff need a lesson in good customer service. In the pizzeria the bartenders need to be more accommodating for those who aren't local. No one cleared our empty glasses at our table and they seemed put off by our request to get food to go (after being there for over an hour and having a couple beers!) If Snowpack can add servers with a better attitude who want to help customers this place would be great. read more

Came here for dinner and it was a nice atmosphere. The beer on tap was good as well. We ordered lots of food and it was all good. Wait for the food was 20-30 minutes. They apparently have trivia on Tuesday night which we left shortly after it started as it was very loud by the speaker. read more

In my 40 years this is the first time I have ever walked out of a restaurant before eating. Their business platform provides a miserable experience. To order food you have to pull up a website to order only food for yourself. And you can't order beverages at the table with the web page so you're forced to go to the bar and make a separate order for drinks. So refills require additional effort to go back to the bar and to be waited to be served on again. Sorry I don't go to a restaurant to have to serve myself. I will also add the website for food ordering is not user friendly. If they would change the ordering process I would try them again. read more
