We gave it two months to try to adjust, and during that time realized the bed felt different on each side of it. We called the store, as we suspected that we were delivered a previously returned mattress, but were ensured that it was a new mattress. I'm still not sure to this day that it was. We later also called to inform that the bed did not perform and feel as in store, only to receive no response. Clearly, they didn't want to make the situation better and simply gave up on making the experience right. For what it's worth, we bought a bed here many years ago, and it turned out rather great. But, this experience has completely soured our taste, as the customer service (and standing behind the product they sell) has greatly deteriorated. We have since bought a new bed from a different store, and now have to dispose of the mattress we bought here. Awful experience and could not recommend less.

Their warranty was pretty good, plus they give a 365 day trial. I was so hoping their mattress would be to our liking, but we never got used to it - so we called and arranged for return. I must say that process was hassle-free which we greatly appreciated. So just about 2 weeks ago, we went over to Ultra Bed to try to find a replacement. My main reason for going there was to see some of the brands that are mainly carried online, They have an impressive showroom displaying many different brands. Upon entering the store, we were greeted by Dr. Rick who formerly practiced as a chiropractor. We told him what we were looking for, and he shared his experience trying to create a mattress that would meet his clients' needs. Over the past 20 years he worked on developing his line of Back Science mattresses. After educating us on the different mattress qualities, Rick recommended we try the BackFlex series. My husband was concerned the mattress would be too soft. Rick assured us that they could make adjustments decreasing or increasing firmness in our home. We decided on the BackFlex3 and placed our order. We were told it would take about 6-8 business days. We got a call on Wednesday that our mattress was ready and would be delivered on Friday. As promised, the mattress arrived promptly and the delivery men set it up. They were professional and friendly. Last night I melted into my bed! I absolutely LOVE it after night #1! I definitely did not feel that way about the Saatva. I am looking forward to enjoying much better sleep on my new mattress and am so happy to have found the Ultrabed store!! Ultrabed also offers a 365 day trial plus their warranty is 30 years! Temperpedic is only a 10 yr and is much more expensive! I doubt very much that we will return this mattress but it's reassuring to know Rick stands behind his products!! We are very happy customers!! UPDATE OCTOBER 2024: Shout out to Ultrabed for continued great customer service!! I reached out to see if additional support in the lower back would be possible. Dr.Rick had his guys out in a week and added support. The beauty of these mattresses is the fact that the top is zippered shut. It will be easy to make tweaks anytime! Brilliant!! He stayed late to walk us through different options, answered all of our questions, and made the entire process feel easy and comfortable. First of all it is heavy as hell, about 250 ln WITH NO HANDLES to flip it. And you need to flip it often because it sags, causing back pain especially if you don't flip it every 3 weeks . And believe me it sags that your spine knows about it. This is something the company don't tell you. I called the company and they offer to send 2 guys to my house for $25 to flip it every 2-3 weeks. They are in CA and im on the East coast. This is company solution for flipping their mattress. Bottom line- I don't recommend it. Stay away from this brand. I hope this review will help someone.

The showroom is gorgeous; I didn't want to leave! Such comfortable mattresses and pillows! I purchased a mattress, topper, box spring, two cotton pillows and an all-cotton blanket. Royal Pedic stuff is costly, but you get what you pay for. It's well worth the money. The salesman, Matthew Kelemen (I believe he's related to the owner, Tony), was very personable and helpful. The salespeople could have been better at guiding a customer who knew very little about mattresses in the right direction. Enter Steve, the owner of 805 Mattresses Pros. He explained the various products that he sells and the benefits of each of them. He took time to go through everything and by the time I was done I knew exactly what I wanted to get for the rooms. The store itself is kind of off of the main streets in Simi Valley but easy enough to find. He has a good selection of mattresses that are priced much lower that the other stores that I visited. It's really hard to justify spending over $5000 on a mattress for a guest bedroom which seemed to be the starting price of a decent mattresses at the other stores.

I went back to all our text conversations and i had not finalized the purchase or the price of the base. The base that was delivered was the base i had originally had a problem with the price. I was told about how great the warranty was and that's why it was more. I asked him to find another base and i did not think i needed such an expensive base (our text messages reflect everything i am saying). I felt like there was nothing i could do at that point of delivery! I have liked the bed and what did i know about bases, so there was no problem (April 2023). I called on Saturday July 29th. I was totally shocked with his behavior when i tried to speak to him about the purchase! He became very loud, obnoxious reciting how the deal went down. It took me a little while to shut him up as i was not dealing with his juvenile behavior. In the end i told him i liked the bed. I have done a lot of transactions on my own as a woman and never dealt with such bad behavior. He can be as loud as he wants, it does not change how the deal went down! Before Saturday i probably would refer him clients, my sister asked about my new bed because they are looking at king size mattress. Women i hate to say this, but bring a man and make sure he knows all the details from purchase to delivery! I have enough experience in business, to realize he was acting like a bully and that kind of behavior does not belong in any business.
