The Entire staff at the Rockford, IL Meijer pharmacy was overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. Sarah ran my card found that it would be paid by Caremark, Dave the pharmacists answered my other questions, EVERYONE at the pharmacy was outstanding and I was overwhelmed by their customer service and willingness to go over and above. I intend to put this same review on every site I can. It is important to know the nightmare I've been dealing with prior to Dave and his staff helping me. I have been trying to get a COVID-19 shot for over a week at other places throughout Rockford. My medical insurance said it would have to be done by a medical provider at a clinical location, not a pharmacy. My drug card is with CVS/Caremark. I tried numerous locations of CVS and was denied. I then tried every other urgent care, and pharmacy in the Rockford area, including the Loves Park, IL Meijer and was turned down. The Loves Park pharmacy wouldn't even try to run my card, (even though I've gotten other COVID shots there) and just said they couldn't help me. I had resolved that I was not getting the shot. I have worked in Healthcare Administration my whole career, and would love employees like Dave and his staff.

I also joined Care Pass...and I saved a total of $15.84 on a $38.99 bottle! But wait. Did I mention that I'm a senior citizen and have all kinds of trouble with techy things? Well, no problem at this store. Kira spent all the time needed to help me navigate the phone. She was very patient and kind. This has happened before at this store...with a nice young man with all the politeness I needed at the register. I actually have stores closer to me, but I go to CVS on 11th Street because of the people who work there.

They even offered a sale that wasn't officially starting until the next morning, because the sale sign was already up. I wish the pharmacy would stop pushing auto-refills, however. The pharmacist told me there's nothing they can do and can't tell me why it took long to get the approval (nothing in their system gives this info). When I was trying to tell her there has to be some notes as it's not my fault she cut me off and then hung up on me! Can't believe the unprofessionalism. It is a medication he cannot be without and Walgreens essentially didn't care - their suggestion was to ask the doctor for a new med, which isn't an option. Out of desperation, I called Jewel and they had a solution for me in 10 seconds. I switched my entire family here. They automatically linked all of our accounts together and when I was picking up one medication, they automatically let me know that my child's med was also ready (it had been on automatic refill and I didn't even realize it). Walgreens would have never done that. They are amazing in my book and it would take a lot to get me to go elsewhere.

I am still giving 5 stars as this is the first prescription I received from them & this cream actually works, more than any other combination of meds (tried so many meds) over the last 12 years to treat rheumatoid & osteoarthritis. I've been able to sleep better the first 2 nights since I received the cream. Hoping with regular use along with my tramadol, that I will continue to have decreased pain & will be able to sleep a full 5-8 hours without waking up in pain every 2 hours, taking ibuprofen every 4 hours while I should be sleeping

This results in delays to testing which delays treatment. 2. They don't answer the phone. They don't return calls. Except billing. If you have a balance with them they will talk to you. If my insurance covered these tests elsewhere, I would elect not to go here- even though the actual care in the clinic is great. She should fired or locked in a closet. I can't imagine how many patients they have lost because of her, but you can count me as one of them.
