This massage place is open late and does wonderful and relaxing work. I left feeling pampered and relaxed after a full body massage

I did a walk in, I was told that if I wanted a female, I'd have to wait and since I didn't have an issue with having a make, they had someone available. The male walked out, I noticed he struggled to walk, I thought it was probably do to his extra weight. He was pretty sweaty, just perspiring a lot. I even asked the girl at the front is she was sure he could do the service. She said oh sure he's strong. I got undressed and got under the covers, the man came in and started working on me, I had decided to treat myself to a 90 minute massage for $90 so when I asked the man, he said "no English" and went to get the girl in the front, so I could let her know I wanted a 90 minute instead of a 60 minute massage. I was instantly concerned that I wouldn't be able to speak to the man, if I had anything to say to him. The massage started and he had the single sheet over my whole body, he rubbed me from on top of the sheet for about 40 minutes it was horrible, all I could do is think of when was he going to get to massaging me, with my own oil I brought. Also he rubbed me with one hand, I almost felt that he was doing that to hold on to himself, and keep his balance because of his weight. Finally he uncovered one piece of body at a time, he rubbed tons of oil, but never actually gave me a massage. He brought in some hot stones at that time he rubbed my bare skin, for about 20 minutes. I had asked for a longer scalp massage and I did not get that either. I felt that he sat way too much during my massage, then he couldn't get around both sides of the table due to his weight. I have been to this place plenty of times, and I was satisfied with the service from the ladies there. A spa to me is a place to relax and not to stress about language barriers or if the staff is properly trained to do the service. I have been to plenty of spas in Sacramento, this is more of a fast rubbed down type of place. If I ever go back, now I would have to make sure the worker speaks English, and let them know that I don't not want a massage with a sheet on top of me most of the time. I paid the fee for the service, $90, however I couldn't see me giving a tip, I couldn't reward that type of service this time. read more

My boyfriend and I came in for a couples massage which was $170. When the front desk lady brought us to the room, she asked who would like the male and who would like the female masseuse. Mind you, this was our first time getting a massage so my boyfriend asked, "Can we have 2 females?" The front desk lady proceeded and said, "you should've requested 2 females then for your appointment" in a rude tone. I kind of disregarded that and just went on. After the massage, the lady tried charging us $180 each for the rejuvenation package. I was so in shock I didn't even speak up until after my boyfriend got charged the remaining amount since I only had a certain amount of cash. Before speaking up, my boyfriend tipped a specific amount and she said "that's it?" Once she realized she charged us for the wrong package, she acted surprised and kept apologizing but it seemed really fabricated. Our massages itself wasn't bad, they did a good job but it definitely wasn't 90 minutes. I will no longer be coming here considering the unprofessionalism and disrespect of the front desk lady. My mom recommended seeing Summer and so I booked an appointment that same day. They were really nice about having me come in and when I arrived on time, I was taken back right away. It's your pretty typical Asian massage parlor though. The bed wasn't entirely comfortable and the space to put your head through was not even cushioned by a pillow! It honestly looked and felt like they cut their own hole through the bed. It was not comfortable for 90 mins at all! They also give you this thin little sheet to put on top of you and it's definitely see through so that left me uncomfortable as well. The massage itself was good. Summer did a great job getting out all my tension spots. But, she was talking to me during the massage wand that was a bit frustrating. She even asked where I usually get my massages done...and then I felt slightly judged for saying massage Envy - an American massage. Just got done with a massage. Purchased 1 combo $40 and 2 foot massage for $35/each. Most places charge anywhere between $20-25 for foot massage so they are overpriced. We were first customers there . I had the combo n kids has regular foot massage. I specifically told them we want strong hands. I started off with a guy n ended up with a lady in the end . The guy did my forehead , n then I think the lady came in. She didn't even do my legs or calf's. Her hands were soft . N applied no pressure. The most irritating thing , the noise of a baby crying in the background full time. And don't tell me why to tip you. Tips are services based . I dint have to tip you if I didn't like your service . We will definitely not return ever again. read more

Came 2 weeks ago and received an great massage for my shoulders. 3 ppl 3 90 min massages. Didn't get the whole 90 mins. Instead we all got 80 minutes still charged for 90 mins. I have each person $10 each as I usually tip 15 or $20 but we were shorted on time. They complained about me giving a $10 tip to each person. Hmmmmm. When I responded that we we shorted minutes the response was we should've came in earlier. Hmmmm then just offer a 60 min massage. Really enjoyed my masseuse and have given this place so many tries but do not continue to tell me my tip isn't enough. Spent $300. I love going to this place. Robust and deep tissue massages but can adjust to your preference. I highly recommend this place if you are local. I was hesitant to go here based on the mixed reviews, but I'm glad I did! Went in this morning after calling to see if they could fit me in. The place was pretty empty. I got the 60 min foot & body combo massage which is $45. Massages at Asian places are a steal compared to American establishments, granted you don't get the ambiance. If you're going to just get knots and tension out then it does the trick. My massage by Andy was awesome. I actually felt kind of bad because he worked so hard on my body - he even mentioned how many knots I had and tried to get them all out. Then when he pressed on my back, I cracked so much that I was a little embarrassed. I feel like he could tell I had so much stress and tension built up in my body and he did the best he could in the 60 minutes to get me relief. I've been feeling amazing and so much lighter this entire day! He deserved the $30 tip. Some of you will think that's too crazy of a tip on a $45 massage, but really... these people work hard and normally a $60 minute Swedish massage runs you $80+ per hour and that's before tip. But of course, it also depends on the overall service provided too. Andy just happened to use a lot of strength, pressure, and effort on me. The only downside for my experience is I believe he smoked a cigarette before my massage or maybe his clothes had the smell, not sure, but for someone who really dislikes cigarette smoke, I didn't appreciate getting little whiffs of that smell during my massage. read more

Pulled some muscles and needed to find a place for a last minute massage. Called them on Memorial Day and they happened to be open. Read the reviews and several positive comments about Jack, so I asked for him. The lady at the front was kind and professional. Place was peaceful, clean and relaxing. When leaving no one bugged me about a tip, no pressure whats so ever. After my massage how could I not leave a tip. OMG truly one of the best massages I have had. My fiancé and I came here for a full body massage. We added on the sea salt scrub for additional $5, which I thought was a pretty good deal. I got Jack for my masseuse and right when he walked in, he smelt like cigarettes. I am pretty sensitive to smell especially when it comes to smoke. I smelt it throughout the whole time I was getting a massage. Throughout the whole massage, this felt like the most sexual massage I've ever gotten. It was fine at times but I was pretty uncomfortable when he got into the cheeks. I felt like the massage was more focused on my butt than anywhere else. Moving onto the sea salt scrub, which was amazing! The only thing was, when he used the water to get the salt off, it felt like I was bathing. I was shivering at one point. Then the hot towels came, that felt amazing, per usual. After the hot towels, he proceeded to use the same sheets that has been used the whole time to basically pat down my body dry, causing the sheets to get wet. For the remaining of the massage, I was shaking. It felt like I was wearing wet clothes and getting a massage at the same time. Oh let's not forget, when I turned over and was on my back, he starts massaging my neck and shoulders and semi-face. All I could smell was smoke and I couldn't even enjoy the massage. I called the day before to make an appointment for the next day for myself and my mom. When I called a woman answered and when I gave her our desired time she said "ok". I was a bit taken back as she didn't ask for my name or phone number. Now fast forward to the day of our appointment. When we walked in there was no one at the reception desk. A woman came in after us and to my surprise it was the lady that was supposed to be covering the front desk. She asked us what service we would like. This wasn't my first time here so when looking at the menu I didn't see their previous price of $19 for the foot massage. The woman at the desk explained the price has gone up to $25 but we should upgrade to the full body/foot massage for $30. So of course we upgraded because who wouldn't want full body! We walk into the back and we are greeted by our masseuse. We placed our items in a little basket and our massage started. First thing I noticed was that there wasn't any music. The back door of the building was open so all I could hear was the cars driving by on Calvine. About 10 mins into our massage we hear the door of the building open (there's a little bell on the door). A woman or girl comes in completely devastated! She's crying and yelling in a different language. (So I have no idea what it was about but it sounded personal). So this totally kills my vibe because I'm hoping she's ok. You can hear some staff members rushing her to the back and closing the door. At this moment the music finally turns on but it's not helping because we can still hear the woman/girl crying and yelling. About 20 mins later we can no longer hear the woman. So back to the massage. I'm trying my best to zen out but then the music stops because it's hooked up to the receptions phone. Again another mood zill. The receptions takes the call to the front of the building but mind you whew you get your massage and true front share a "wall" and you can hear everything. Finally after the phone conversation the music starts up again. On a positive note John did a wonderful job on my massage. He asked multiple times if the pressure was okay. This place could really be amazing but they surly need to change somethings!! read more
