We were seated about 30 minutes after our reservation time, which on Valentine's Day I understand can happen. It's busy. It's high volume. But when you take reservations, there's an expectation that timing is at least somewhat respected. Then we were placed at a table about 18 inches from a side door. I'm not exaggerating when I say if I moved my arm out even slightly, I hit the wall. The table next to us was less than two feet away. On a night that's supposed to feel intimate, it felt cramped and rushed. Not romantic. Not relaxed. Just tight. It honestly felt like too many reservations were accepted for the space available. I get maximizing a holiday, but there has to be a balance. Capping reservations and planning seating a little better would've made a big difference in the overall experience. Again, the food? Strong. The atmosphere that night? Way too packed for comfort. If the seating had matched the quality of the kitchen, it would've been a top-tier Valentine's dinner.
