Highly recommend the fresh spring rolls, chicken satay and cabbage salad! Have been eating at Soba for many years, the quality never wavers.

I can see what the hype is all about. Absolutely delicious burgers. The bun was fresh and soft…read moreand held the burger together perfectly . The burger meat was cooked and seasoned just right and the sauce on the burger....the chefs kiss! This burger is a standout in a land of mediocre small burgers. Fries were also very good and the fry sauce was delicious!! We are fans and will be back. Don't be discouraged by the lines- they are a well oiled machine and even though the food is cooked to order, they are pretty efficient and get the food out quick.

Perhaps I had unrealistic expectations after reading so much about how this is "the best" burgers…read morein Oly. After driving by dozens of times, we finally stopped. Food: The burger was good, but not great. The bun did its job well and didn't fall apart. The burger was thicker than a smash burger, but less than a quarter pounder. The beef was simply bland. It had either too little or no discernible seasoning to bring out the flavor of the meat. The cheese was nice and melty. The burger sauce was good. Honestly, we both decided we preferred a Sonic cheeseburger. (Sorry). The fries were simple, crinkle cut frozen potatoes. They also lacked flavor. We ate a few each and the rest went in the bin. Service: There was no line, so our order was promptly taken and the food came out quickly. Friendly service at the window. Ambience: it's a food truck. They have a pop-up canopy and a picnic table which we shared with other customers. Nice conversation, friendly people. Although I mentioned Sonic, it's clearly not the "best" burger in Olympia, but it is consistent. I like smash burgers and we have good options, but I'm still looking for a place that makes a thick, juicy, flavorful burger in Oly. So far, the best burger I've had is in Tacoma at Burger Seoul. The beef mixture includes brisket and is always full of flavor.

Located inside Millersylvania Park, this location is as the name suggests, right on the lake. The…read moresnack bar has nachos, hot dogs, and ice cream (just order one scoop because two is a real challenge for one person to finish). Honestly the food isn't great and the nachos are just gross, but if you're hungry, it's there. If you want to rent a kayak, row, boat, or peddle boat, go to the snack bar to fill out the paperwork and pay and the guy at the trailer will help load your party onto the boat. There are picnic tables between the snack bar and the lake, but if you're going on a busy weekend in the summer, you're better off bringing your own table and chairs.

This concession stand is seasonal and I am glad I was able to stop by this summer to check them out. They also have pedal boats, kayaks, canoes and more for rent although I didn't partake I saw a lot of others renting from them. I ordered a double scoop of mint chip and single scoops of strawberry and vanilla with one in a waffle cone. Customer service was great and the prices are fair considering the scoops are massive compared to other ice cream shops I've frequented. They also offer a 10% military discount. Overall: amazing little stand that is worth checking out if you ever find yourself spending time in Millersylvania State Park.

We take sushi seriously and have tried great spots across the country, so we don't impress easily…read more We stopped at Asahi Sushi on our way to Olympic National Park just for a quick meal -- and it turned into one of the most memorable stops of the trip. The interior feels refined and stylish, with soft lighting and purple accents that give it a calm, upscale vibe. Service was genuinely kind, attentive, and well-timed. The miso soup was deep in flavor, the seaweed salad fresh and nicely plated. The Baked Salmon Roll and Olympian Roll really stood out -- fresh fish, balanced flavors, and beautiful presentation. If you're driving through Olympia, it's absolutely worth a stop.

Great sushi in a convenient location…read more To enter, you have to walk past the sushi bar where the chefs stare at you. Sitting there to eat would probably be awkward with every patron passing behind you. We got the Paradise and the Hurricane rolls. The Paradise was good, but the Hurricane won hands down. Sweet and savory, crunchy and creamy, with a touch of spiciness, this was the complete package. Highly recommend. The bathroom is outside of the restaurant through a winding corridor of backrooms. It's unsettling, and then the restroom itself is lit in a sickly yellow. One of the motion-sensing faucets had its motion-sensor ripped out, and the sink drain looked like it had been dissolved in acid. Kinda weird!
