They're so nice and easy to deal with, I kept asking myself if this was some sort of scam My repair could not have been easier. They were easy to work with on an estimate, easy to schedule the repair with, completed the job on time, and did an amazing job. They are also excellent communicators. My car was even detailed when I picked it up as if I spent $250 at a custom detail place. I should also share that they suggested I purchase a replacement part directly from Tesla myself since I could get it cheaper if I ordered it as an owner - then they even offered to pick it up at the Tesla parts depot for me. They could have easily just marked it up and ripped me off, but they didn't. I highly recommended using them.

I was presented with a range of options to fix the blemish/dent and Rene the manager suggested the less expensive alternative, imagine that! The repair was done in three hours while I had a leisurely breakfast across the street. I couldn't believe the beautiful result, the price and the speed of the job. If you need body work, don't shop, go to TOC and don't look back, you'll be very pleased with the outcome.

I needed several things fixed on my vehicle. Basic work, but I had been looking for a good and…read morehonest place to get it done. After shopping around for an honest place, Shoop Motors had been highly recommended to do "fabulous work". I brought it over and got a terrific written estimate. I was ecstatic! I clarified that the estimate they had given me was the FINAL number with no hidden fees. They guaranteed me that everything was exactly as promised with no "surprises". The next day, I dropped it off (I had to pull the man from his TV show that he and the rest of the crew had been too closely watching to notice I had even walked in) and confirmed once again that the amount they quoted me was the final amount. But the man then told me this will need to get done and that will get done... on top of what he had initially quoted me. Suddenly my initial quote turned into a far more expensive transaction. I also didn't appreciate the dishonesty and the fact that he "didn't realize those problems before and suddenly decided I needed those extra things to be done". I was uneasy and nervous but left the vehicle anyway and called the next day to see if they had made any progress on it. They said the work had been done and I could pick it up that night... When I got there, nobody seemed to be around and I had to look for someone to help me. There was a different man there and he came out saying "here are your keys". I was confused, as I saw that NO WORK had been done to the car -even though I was told it had been done. He said "I know no work was done but get out, I have to go to eat dinner". I was pretty stunned at the lack of courtesy -let alone professionalism. The dog they had nearby barking at me wildly didn't make it any less shady. I was promised work had been done and it wasn't, and I was getting kicked out. It was like a horror scene out of a movie. Needless to say I left (involuntarily, might I add) and felt the need to tell anyone and everyone about my experience so that nobody else would be subjected to that kind of treatment. This is my very first review on Yelp but I felt compelled to rela what happened to warn everyone NOT TO GO TO SHOOP MOTORS! Shady and sketchy are just several terms to describe the experience... I wish I could leave negative 100 stars on this place.

Disappointed With Follow-Up and Customer Service…read more I hired Illumine Mobile Mechanics LLC to install AMP power step boards on my 2010 Ford F-250 Super Duty. I wanted to support a young business owner and give him an opportunity. Carlos was polite during the scheduling process, and the installation appointment was set for April 29, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The labor charge was $335. My concern is not only the installation itself, but the lack of follow-up after the job. Shortly after the installation, I noticed that the lights for the power steps were not working. I contacted Carlos and let him know. His response was that it was "extremely common" for those lights not to work and that everything had been installed correctly. He said he could come check it, but because I was not going to be home that day, I told him not to make a special trip and to stop by the next time he was in the area. He never followed up or came back to look at the issue. Later, the power steps stopped working properly. One step stayed in the lowered position, while the other would not retract correctly, and the system stopped functioning as it should. When I contacted Carlos and asked if he could take a look, he told me it would require a $95 diagnostic fee. I was disappointed because I had already reported an issue with the installation right after the work was completed, and that issue was never checked. Carlos pointed out that it had been one month and 19 days since the installation, which was accurate. However, the original concern was reported immediately after the install, and there was no follow-through. I have also used Carlos for other work on my Ford F-250, including a difficult radio installation. That job was eventually completed by someone else because it required more specific expertise. I did not hold that against him because I understand some installs can become more complex than expected. However, with the power step boards, my concern is the lack of follow-up and customer service. I believe this is a teachable moment for a young business owner. Skill matters, but follow-through matters just as much. When a customer reports a problem immediately after an installation, the business should make a reasonable effort to inspect the work before charging another diagnostic fee. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Illumine Mobile Mechanics LLC for this type of installation. If you decide to use this business, understand that you may not receive the follow-up or customer support you expect if something goes wrong after the job.
