In July, I scheduled an oil change and engine flush, which he claimed to have completed along with topping off fluids. At the end of August, my vehicle broke down -- the serpentine belt snapped, punctured the front axle, and broke the coolant hose. I paid him $900 to replace the alternator and belt. He then quoted me another $500 to repair the axle and coolant hose (about $200 in parts, with $300 in labor). However, he only replaced the alternator and belt before disappearing, saying he would not be able to return until he sorted out his new work schedule. After a brief apology by text, he stopped responding entirely. I had no choice but to take my vehicle to another mechanic, where I paid an additional $900. The second mechanic confirmed that the oil change and engine flush I had paid for in July were never done, which is why the car broke down originally. The serpentine belt installed was too tight as well. The new shop also properly repaired the axle and coolant hose. Overall, I was left out of pocket significantly more than necessary, with incomplete work, misrepresented services, and a lack of reliability.

BUYER BEWARE - They…read morewill overcharge you and don't care. I was there for a DOT inspection and also asked them to install a headlight assembly that I ALREADY had plus 2 foglight assemblies. AGAIN, these were parts I already had with me. Well, the guy was training a young man. He and the trainee were really nice in assisting me, the trainer found 4 screws to attach the fog lights in corner bumpers (didn't even have to plug up fog lights as I had new harness back home) -took them less than 15 mins. They did the quick inspection and services were finished within 30 mins of me being directed into bay. 15 mins later, I'm given a bill for 1.5 hours of labor for $179.99 + $11.50 shop materials + $1 training + $49 inspection. Figured it was an error and asked to speak to manager/trainer or whoever wrote this nonsense up. Keep in mind, I ALWAYS use Love's and Speedco - I've actually been to THIS particular location before and they were fair, honest and took care of the repairs properly. But THIS time, they were outrageous! $180+ for FIFTEEN MINUTES of labor - I was expecting an half hour of labor for just turning a screwdriver, but not THIS. Not even upset about shop materials. But their logic of half an hour for each light assembly is beyond absurd. Then they try to convince me if I went to Volvo they would charge me more. I KNOW how much labor costs and I KNOW when I've been taken advantage of. As I cussed and put my card in to pay, the computer froze - it even realized that this was some b#$@* and it wasn't right. BEST BELIEVE I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION. I normally tip the service techs and mechanics to show my appreciation, but not this time - GENERAL MANAGER LORENZO VASQUEZ is trying to reach his monthly quota by taking advantage of owner operators. Laporshia had the diagnosis in short order and a plan for us to use a loaner vehicle while our engine is replaced under extended warranty. She not only took care of our business needs, but was kind and friendly in the process of her duties. She went above and beyond in seeing that the parts would arrive in a timely manner while making us feel like family. She's a keeper!!

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever dealt with (Move over, Ai Sushi!). Bought a Groupon…read moreto get an oil change here. Double/triple checked the fine print: there were no time restrictions or any text about calling ahead. So I brave the horrific morning traffic to get out to Irving from Dallas, showing up around 8:35 A.M. (They open at 8 AM) Notice no other customers and I think to myself, "Yay, this will be quick and easy". I tell the mechanic that I want an oil change, and he says "You have to come back after 3 P.M. - especially if you bought a Groupon". As I checked the Groupon MULTIPLE times, I asked him why, pointing out there are no other customers here. He goes on to lecture me for almost 10 minutes, pointing out that 1) I should take it up with Groupon, 2) I should have called ahead 3) he has big repairs he has to do this morning/doesn't have time for oil change nonsense 4) he only gets $5 from Groupon to do the oil change 5) he only posts on Groupon for marketing purposes, and 6) how dare I come into his store shortly after they opened and ask for a service, and question him while he's eating his medicine. I don't know how much of what he said is true (if he really only gets 25% of the cut from the Groupon, that is not just and a huge middle finger to Groupon), but I know that is not how you treat a customer. First of all, if you're doing this for marketing purposes, well done. You've made a life-long customer in me. /s Second of all, an oil change will take you 10 minutes, tops. It's not going to make the difference between you finishing your larger repairs or not today. Third, there is nothing in the fine print that limited the hours I could redeem, nothing about calling ahead. If you're frustrated with not knowing how to edit your post with Groupon, please don't take it out on me. If you're frustrated by the cut you get from Groupon, don't take it out on me. If you're frustrated by your life, please don't take it out on me. I ended up exchanging the Groupon for another one - good riddance. There are hundreds of places to get oil changes in Dallas. I will NEVER come back to this place.
