What could improve? Answer: The bad attitude I encountered today with Sarah the "co-owner" of this facility. I came in to request a Travel Certificate for my dog - "it's a document that confirms your pet's health status and suitability for travel. It is often required by airlines and destination countries for both domestic and international travel to ensure the animal is healthy and doesn't pose a risk to other animals or humans." When the vet tech took my dog into the room all he did was take my dog's temperature, weigh her, inspected her ears and teeth, then scanned her for a chip. It literally took 5 minutes. Once completed he left the examination room and came back with a clipboard & paper. Asked me to review the info (ie: address, destination, dogs info) then minutes later produced a final copy, handed it to me and said goodbye. I thought that's it?! That was easy. I then proceeded to exit and walk back to my vehicle. Minutes later I got a phone call it was the girl from the counter at the vet clinic. She indicated I left without paying and there was a fee of $177. I was surprised to hear the cost considering nothing out of the ordinary had been done to my dog and no estimate or cost had been given when I initially checked in. I asked to speak to someone aside from her who could better explain the charges to me. Sarah then came to the counter and in a very condescending manner began to say "you requested a service and got it and with that there's a cost". No shit Sherlock but my question was why was it $177 and what is the breakdown for?? I tried to explain to her no one, neither of the other 2 employees who helped me before her mentioned there would be a fee. It would have been convenient to know up front what or if Id be charged for this Travel Certificate. Rather than listening to me she kept trying to talk over me, put me in my place and give me silly unnecessary examples of "well when you go to Target and buy milk you expect to pay for it and not get it for free, right?". Again, I simply needed to understand what the charge was for. I had nothing on paper to reference regarding the cost of services & price. To add there is nothing displayed on their wall or counter of how much things cost there!I was trying to figure out wtf am i being charged for bc it didn't make sense that the certificate would cost $177. I was not looking for something "free" but Sarah, who's supposed to be their "dr" just kept talking over me. It wasn't until later that she finally broke it down to $125 Certification fee & $52 for the Physical. I told her that's the answer I was looking for and she should have said that from the start. Instead she chose to argue, make a scene, give stupid condescending examples about paying for services, and act unprofessionally in front of multiple clients in the lobby. Word of advice- customers aren't interested in being lectured or given a sermon. Do better at communicating the costs of your services UPFRONT. Work on your price list so customers don't have to keep guessing. Seek to understand instead of talking over people! read more

Best vet ever!!! We were previously going to a similar one in Murrieta, but we decided to come to this one not only for the location (it is way closer) but because of other reasons from the previous vet. The wait is a little long but SOOO WORTH IT. My puppy Zen is very dramatic and can be super wormy. They cuddled him and held him and played with him while giving him a vaccine. That's really what you want when you go to a vet. The nurses were amazing and so sweet. you can see they love animals. I'm so blessed we found this place. read more

Lately I seem to be here weekly. Today I brought in two of my daughter's cats for dental. Flower a four yo and Tamarack an eleven yo who was seen a while back at a different veterinary hospital for pain and difficulty eating. This other animal hospital he was seen at advised having his teeth cleaned and an extraction. Which I did as recommended by them. The exam was done by their vet tech not a doctor which at that time I didn't realize. Apparently all of the times I'd been there, I never saw or spoke with a doctor. Not since back in 2018 that is. I had my frenchie hospitalized there with IVDD. There was just the one doctor back then. During the exam a sore on his gums was pointed out to me as well as tartar buildup. I was told the sore was a feline herpes blister, and that was contributing to his pain when eating. His pain wasn't resolved from this visit. I trusted the information I was told, and figured feline herpes blisters were responsible for the pain he was still experiencing. Over time this issue has only gotten worse. At So Cal K9 Vet today the doctor informed me feline herpes blisters are usually located on their tongue not on their gums. Dr. Means diagnosed Tamarack with a disease called, "Stomatitis" it causes all kinds of havoc, one of them being sores on the gums. The only cure for this, is to extract all teeth. Tamarack only has it on one side of his mouth at this time, and hopefully it remains that way. It's a bummer the stomatitis wasn't diagnosed when he was initially taken to the veterinary clinic so the appropriate treatment would've been taken care of and Tamarack wouldn't have had to suffer for all of these months. Dr. Mean is a good vet but this place needs better customer service. I drove up over an hour and a half away. I had an appointment and they had me wait over 2 hours without checking on me. I had to leave as I had to go to work. No one apologized or called me to reschedule. This seems like an ongoing pattern with them, I then came back later with other dogs and they do not remove all their dewclaws, so I won't recommend this location unless you like long long waits. read more

On 04/23/23, my French Bulldog went into labor. We were expecting her to have her puppies any day, but because her PG levels weren't low enough, we didn't expect her to go into labor on 4/23/23, but we had a plan already and where to go just in case. As soon as we noticed she started acting differently, I knew she was going into labor. My first clinic to contact was this clinic due to reviews and because they were open. I called the clinic and I wished I remembered her name, but because they gave me hope that they would help me out, I didn't remember it. As I spoke with the receptionist, I explained to her that my dog was going into labor and I needed a C-Section done. The receptionist told me that as long as I come before a certain time, they would be able to help us with the C-Section, but they would have to charge a late fee. I was fine with the late fee, because I knew this was an emergent matter. So my wife drove all the way from LA to Riverside. When my wife made contact with the receptionist and told them about our dog, they told her they couldn't help her because it was to late (even when they told us to make it before a certain time, she made it there before that time). And one of the receptionist had the nerve to ask why didn't we call ahead of time. My wife explained to her that I called before heading out there and that they told us to come and about the late fee. The receptionist then went to the back to ask the Dr's if they could still help us. They said no as well. This was definitely a bad experience. We had to look for another place far from Riverside to assist us. In fact, my French Bulldog almost delivered a pup while my wife drove to another location. I post this pic from their website to tell you that they aren't caring. They don't have great customer service because they didn't want to help us even AFTER they told us to come before a certain time. And I honestly don't feel as a client that my dog got the best possible care. I hope that the same person that manages the Riverside location doesn't manage the City of Industry location because this place has a lot of work to do with their communication skills with customers and amongst themselves. If we knew that they weren't going to be able to help us, we wouldn't have driven over an hour to them. That would be stupid on our part, but the fact that they told us to come and then didn't help us is very disappointing. My dog or the puppies could have died without professional help. If you plan on coming to this location just be aware. My experience wasn't the best with them. read more

The vet who checked on him was blond short hair...idk who doc was tbh. Anyways she literaly just scooped him up no warning and my boy was confused. The look of "you going to let her take me?" Was very ammusing. He literaly just rag dolled it. But yeah took him in i payed 944 (the initial price if he woild have had some teeth extracted but he didnt) told me a couple hours. Ran errands. And then so it turns out if your dog isnt spending iver night they call you to pick up and they will let you in if the pick up time they give is past their closing hour. Got my dog at 6:30 when i dropped him off at around 12:30/1:00. they saw i over paid offered credit with them or refund for 200. Got refunded. They gave me his medicine and instructions. Now on my dogs experience. He didnt like it. But hes sensative to being abandoned after being returned to the pound like 2 times as a puppy by people who didnt want them. He was shaky and woozy after the vet and didnt eat much solifld or soft food or water. Ended up giving him water using the medicing stopper they gave. After like 4 days he was doing better bjt i think emotionaly less so and still some sorness from the cleaning. But like 3 days later he was grabin stuff with his mouth and seemingly back to his normal self. Overall good service. I think id go again instead of the riverside hospital on magnolia. They were kinda stuck up and even with an appointment i waited a good while. Here was nice. Also lots of frenchies. read more

Terrible experience at this hospital. We waited over an hour just to be seen by the doctor and this was done intentionally. I suffer from a condition called misophonia. We're sometimes when I speak my voice sounds very unpleasant. I explained this to the scheduler before I arrived I explained it to the front desk worker and I even explained it to the vet tech. Besides this when we were in the room after the vet tech assisted us, I was speaking to my girlfriend and one of the workers overheard me talking and it was at the same time they were talking. My voice sounded unpleasant but that's because of my condition: misophonia. Because of this the staff left us in this room knowing that we were there for nearly two hours without giving us any updates or assisting us at all. It wasn't until we had to step out of the room a combined total of four times between myself and my girlfriend before someone came over and assisted us. That is extremely not just Petty not just poor customer service that is evil to treat someone that way. because the truth of it was they were hoping that I would get upset and start to complain then they could justifiably asked me to leave and then of course if I were to say "I would like to stay so my injured cat can be treated" they would then of course call the police on me. And that is the exact scenario that that staff who left us waiting in that room for an hour was hoping for. However I did not do that it wasn't until I had to walk all the way to the front desk and they saw that I was getting frustrated which was the reaction that they of course wanted, then the doctor arrived. The thing about my misophonia is because of my condition I have been treated this way unfairly in many places of business and establishments. And there are sometimes I let it slide but then there are sometimes where I'm being treated so poorly and with so much vitriol then I decided to take action and go as high as I can go to a board to a department or to a medical group in order to get someone fired. This time will be no different. They played with the wrong one today. You can do what you want to me, but when you do things to affect my girlfriend or an innocent injured animal then us I'll go as far as I can go legally which often results in termination. read more

Do not go here. I was put in a room and they forgot me. I was trying to be patient until I realized everyone was gone and they were cleaning the lobby and i was the only client there. They lied and said they came by the room and I wasn't there instead of being honest. I could see their reflection in the window trying to figure out what they should say to me.
