Brought my dog in for diarrhea.I was informed by Dr. #1 that he had obstruction in stomach and needed removal surgery. i was hysterical. next morning before surgery Dr. #2 called me and said nothing was on X-Ray anymore. They Cancelled surgery and gave other tests instead. No call back on an update so I went into the office to pick my dog up. They handed him to me with 5 prescriptions- with no confirmed testing to reflect his needs for the prescriptions. This threw me off. I am still waiting on my large prepaid bill to be corrected. Allow me to mention that they are sweet and caring towards animals.. but i'll never come back because $2,000 later and no answers.

Great people. My dog had a great time here. The people are so nice and they take really great care of your lil pups.

They were the most affordable euthanasia vet clinic I found available on the weekends, no appointment needed. They helped send my sweet Penny over the rainbow. If you're a first time client you do have to pay an extra $60 or $65 I can't remember for the vet to check them out first. Every other vet place asked for more money just to let you be with them when they went over the rainbow. This vet clinic did not do that. Both my husband and I were able to stay with her to the very end and then gave us as much time as we needed after. They do charge if you want to take them home or the ashes, I was not able to afford that so I opted out. I later on in the month found them to be a very affordable place to get my 13 year old Lhasa apso's nails trimmed after calling around, again no appointment needed. On the weekends it gets packed fyi. During the week I went on Thursday for the nail trim it was fast in and out under 30 minutes. The Vet I found to be very compassionate and caring. I felt like she really cares about what she does and her patients. The staff were very nice but the vet won me over. I definitely recommend this place.

If you have a service animal, a medically necessary animal, or anything time-sensitive... please read this. My family spent seven months preparing our service dog -- a $35,000 trained medical assistance animal -- for international travel. We've traveled with him to 16 countries using USDA-certified vets with zero issues. We trusted All Paws Riverside Animal Hospital with the Japan and Hawai'i processes. We followed every instruction. We completed every blood draw, titer test, appointment, and document. We spent thousands of dollars. And then everything fell apart. Behind the scenes, things were not what they seemed. The Japan certificate was submitted incorrectly and rejected by USDA. The office had all paperwork and deadlines months in advance. The Hawai'i certificate required multiple corrections because staff, not the veterinarian whose license was used, were filling out legal sections. We were asked for information the veterinarian should have been responsible for. Worst part? We learned by accident -- not from the office -- that the Japan certificate had been rejected. And only afterward were we told the veterinarian responsible had actually been on medical leave during the process. That meant: No qualified oversight. No chance to fix errors in time. And months of preparation became useless overnight. It got worse when we tried to get answers. When we came into the office to understand what happened, the situation escalated in a way I never expected. In my experience, the office manager, Jeri, raised her voice at me and spoke in a way that felt aggressive and completely unprofessional. I left in tears -- shaken, embarrassed, and without answers. I have never been screamed at in a veterinary setting in my life. It added trauma to an already devastating situation. Then--silence. When we later requested a refund for services that were never successfully completed, the office stopped responding. Eventually, they terminated care for our entire family of pets instead of addressing what happened. No accountability. No ownership. No attempt to make it right. Why I'm writing this. I'm not sharing this out of anger. I'm sharing it because someone else will trust this office the way we did -- with their pet's health, their money, and their family's well-being. If your animal's medical, behavioral, or travel needs require accuracy and oversight, please choose a clinic that takes those responsibilities seriously. I wish someone had warned us. No family -- and no service animal -- should ever go through this.

When we returned, we asked to speak with a veterinarian and were told we would never see one. Instead, a vet tech (I'll refer to as Snookums) reviewed the X‑rays and prescriptions while repeatedly calling us "Sweets" and "Honey," which felt unprofessional and dismissive. Here's a "pro" tip Snookums -- for clarity and professionalism, use the clients name when you communicate. Snookums offered vague possibilities with no real answers, seemed defensive, and then handed us a $400 bill. We were also told we could pay extra for bloodwork and stool testing -- diagnostic tests that should have been done before any treatment, especially since we brought a stool sample. The problems with this clinics drop-off model: -- We had to explain our pets problem more than once, which can be misinterpreted once the information gets to the vet. -- They take the pet away and perform diagnostics and/or treatments without informed consent from the owner. -- The only interface with the vet we had was through a lab tech, who cannot legally diagnose, provide prognosis, or prescribe medications and should not be the only person communicating medical findings. -- Operating below the standard of client communication most pet owners expect and deserve. Poor communication, no access to an actual vet, unprofessional behavior, and unclear diagnostics. We won't be returning.

I started bringing Ruby to AMCC in the spring of 2023. She had developed a wheeze and had been suffering hind leg pain since injuring her knee in 2021. Dr. Hymes diagnosed Ruby's wheeze as allergies and her hind leg pain as osteoarthritis. She suggested considering monthly shots of Librela for the arthritis. AMCC made it purposefully difficult to get medications from other sources. They wanted me to purchase Ruby's medications from them, as opposed to online pharmacies, at greatly inflated prices. All medications were at least 2-3 times more expensive than an online pet pharmacy. While they would eventually approve medications to be filled, it usually took them days to do so, and often required multiple calls to get the Rx filled. There was always a wait to be seen at AMCC, at least 45 minutes to an hour after our appointment time. I started Ruby on Librela injections in November 2024. The injection took seconds to administer. At one of Ruby's appointments for just her injection, we waited for 3 hours from our appointment time for her to receive her shot. Whenever I called the office, a 15 minute hold time was the norm, lasting up to 20 minutes sometimes. Librela has warnings from its manufacturer not to be given to dogs with neurological conditions. After 6 months of Librela shots, Ruby's breathing went into crisis after an injection in April. Dr. Hymes finally correctly diagnosed Ruby with laryngeal paralysis (a neurological condition that affects the larynx and often, the hind legs (GOLPP)) after misdiagnosing her for 2 years. I researched and felt that a laryngeal stent would be the least invasive solution for Ruby. A vet in Texas, Dr. Garner, specializes in this procedure and was very helpful in giving information to Dr. Hymes. Having not performed this treatment before, she nevertheless felt confident in her ability to place the stent and agreed to perform the procedure in July 2025. She ordered the wrong size of stents from the medical supply company, despite instructions from Dr. Garner's office on how to order the appropriate size. The first attempt at the procedure resulted in the placement of a very undersized stent. It took an entire week for AMCC just to place the order for the right stents. They initially tried to charge me for both sets but I objected and they relented. The day of the second stent placement, I took Ruby in at 8am. After hearing nothing from AMCC all day, I got a call shortly before closing, asking me if Ruby's procedure could be performed the next day. She'd spent all day at the clinic and nothing had been done. Frustrated, I insisted that it be performed that evening. Ruby was still not seen until 8pm, a full 12 hours after I'd dropped her off. At one point during the procedure, I overheard Dr. Hymes say that if it didn't work again, "He can go to Texas and get it done there." The procedure only took around 2 hours, and we left at 11. I felt bad for the staff's long day, but I was also frustrated with them for having neglected Ruby all day, particularly after all the other mistakes made up to that point. But Ruby was finally breathing normally again for the first time in 2 years, and I was relieved. The next day was Ruby's last day. She coughed the stent out around noon. Immediately, her breathing was labored, and I let AMCC know that the procedure did not work once again. They said it'd be too difficult to replace the stent that day and to wait until Monday (they are closed on weekends) and they would try a 3rd attempt. Ruby's breathing was at first not markedly worse than it had been during previous breathing crises, so I thought that she'd be OK with the drugs we were given to keep her calm until Monday. Throughout that day and night, it became increasingly difficult for Ruby to breathe. I took her to an emergency vet in the middle of the night but she started shutting down, turning blue, and losing control of her bodily functions and I had to euthanize her later that morning. Ruby's last day was full of pain and fear. I will probably second-guess the decisions I made for Ruby forever, including taking her to AMCC in the first place. I can't help but think that she'd still be here if I'd taken her to a different vet 3 years ago, who would've correctly diagnosed her and treated her effectively. Ruby deserved better care than she got at AMCC. At some point, I will get another dog and bring it to a veterinary clinic for its care...but it will not be the Animal Medical Center of Corona.

The doctors appeared knowledgeable, and the clinical care itself was appropriate. However, the overall experience was cold, rushed, and overwhelming. Communication focused heavily on costs, paperwork, and internal process rather than comfort, reassurance, or clear explanation, even while we were visibly anxious. The interaction felt transactional rather than compassionate. At discharge, we were never clearly told how our cat responded to treatment or why she was considered ready to go home. There was no explanation of her condition after fluids and medications, no reassurance about her stability, and no clear medical summary in plain language. We were left to assume she was okay simply because she was being discharged. While we were waiting for our cat, my daughter experienced low blood sugar. I clearly stated, "My daughter Hannah's blood sugar is low," and explained that I was worried about her condition. I asked if I could step out briefly and come back for our cat so I could take care of my daughter first. Instead of reassurance or acknowledgment of that urgency, the response was, "Let me check if she can be discharged now." The focus shifted to expediting our cat's discharge rather than accommodating a child's medical emergency. I had to follow up because of the urgency of my daughter's condition. Our cat was then discharged without clear communication that she was medically ready and without being allowed additional time to rest after treatment. In that moment, it felt like process and payment were prioritized over situational awareness, empathy, and basic human compassion. In an emergency setting, medical treatment alone is not enough. Clear communication, empathy, and human awareness matter just as much. Unfortunately, we did not feel supported as pet owners or as parents facing a medical emergency with our child. I hope this clinic seriously reevaluates its bedside manner and client communication, because emergencies require humanity, not just procedures.
