SoCal Seamless did a great job on my gutter installation. Mark was knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. His attention to detail really showed while laying out options for style and color to match my house. Considering how much more professional and comprehensive Mark's visit was, I had been dreading the estimate knowing full well that I wanted to go with SoCal, expecting to pay more based on their clearly higher quality...only to be pleasantly surprised at the final number, which came in lower than the other bid I had received! I usually try to get at least three estimates on any project, but I stopped searching when I received Mark's estimate (which was my second received). Install was done in a day by Fredo and another woman whose name I didn't get. Fredo was courteous, punctual, and he and his coworker got the job done that day. Finished product looks fantastic - the color is matched so well that you can hardly tell the trim from the gutter. Thankful to Mark, Fredo, and the entire SoCal Seamless team for a job well done! Do know that given the demand for this time of year, it took them a couple days to get back to me from when I first submitted my inquiry on the website, and installation availability was about a month out. Placed 3 phone calls to inquire about an estimate,(one time actually speaking to a person) and, I responded to an email response sent from company, all promising they would get back to me. Over the course of 2 weeks, no one ever did. Not a phone call or email response back. So very disappointing. Such poor customer service,at the initial inquiry phase of a potential job proved to me that I didn't want to go with this company and their lack of regard toward me proved they obviously were not interested in my business. I had a great experience with Mark setting the project up. He came and gave me a competitive quote. Initially, I had the work timed pretty far out in advance since my backyard hardscaping project was 5-6 weeks away. However, the hardscapers moved my projects up so luckily, Mark was able to squeeze me in on 2-3 days notice! His brother Dane did the actual installation which was pretty fast. Price was very competitive and fair. Day of install they were right on time and got to work installing the gutters. Installers were very nice and courteous. Really appreciated the craftsmanship on the corners. Instead of using corner pieces, each corner was mitered at 45 and caulked. Looks very high end. They finished on time and did an ok job cleaning up. Not worth subtracting a star, but we did find some trash and metal pieces around the house. Well worth the craftsmanship, but would recommend they spend an extra minute to just tidy up a little more. Overall would recommend to anyone looking for new gutters or repairs. We had a great experience working with Mark. We got quotes from about 5 different gutter contractors. We ranked them ourselves in terms of price, the quality of the design, and the confidence we had in the company based on the interactions we had with the representatives that gave us the quote. We also had a special request to have straight-faced gutters, which not all installers offer (it requires a special machine to make them seamless). While Mark's quote wasn't the absolute cheapest, the only quotes that were lower did not offer the straight-face gutters we desired. There were also some installers that sent out a salesperson that designed downspouts all over the front of our house (it's like they're trying to make my house uglier!). Mark took special notice of what we wanted and was able to find a way for the gutter to work exactly how we wanted. The install itself took one day. Mark was very communicative throughout the process about scheduling our install day as well as his arrival. We couldn't be happier with the end result. Back in late February 2021, and after reading the 5-star reviews on Yelp, I contacted SoCal Seamless and spoke to Mark. He came out the next day to take measurements of my house and showed me samples of the gutter types he had and the pros and cons of each one. I had recently painted my house and went with the black straight metal gutters and downspouts. The estimated quote Mark gave me was more than reasonable and fair, and I did not bother getting estimates from anyone else. Due to a backlog of work orders, the install finally took place yesterday, April 28, 2021. The wait was well worth it. The installers Travis and Belen arrived early morning and they were friendly, respectful and highly efficient. They completed the total job around my house in less than 3 hours and the overall look and their professional workmanship was excellent. I did a walk through around the house with Travis and I was extremely happy with how the rain gutter install turned out. My house looked even better and the color fit right in with my house colors. The first time Mark came out was to help with our rain barrels. I had called several companies and they would not even come out to see what needed to be done. Even the company that originally installed the gutters would not come out to inspect our rain barrel issue. Check out the photo because he came up with a creative idea that worked perfect!
