Scammers. They wouldn't pre-qualify my visit, even though they had my insurance information 2 weeks in advance. I asked them if my visit is covered by my insurance , and they said they didnt run the insurance until 3 days before the visit. They reviewed the entire procedure with costs in case my insurance didnt cover any part. I said i understood, but they never mentioned I wasnt covered for anything. I came in for the consult and they conducted the consult, then an office clerk came in and said nine of my visit was covered including the initail consult, which they charged me $187. That amount just to tell me nothing id covered by my insurance. I complained to the office manager, and she said too bad, its what i agreed to too, SO SHADEY. read more

Spent practically all of that time explaining that I DIDN'T want an implant. Finally got him to agree to what I wanted. Then, going to pay and leave I'm informed that the charge is $603.00!! Never thought I'd be writing a 5-star review for dental work I've had done but here we are! I had such an amazing experience getting my bottom 2 wisdom teeth out here, from the consultation to healing post-op! Everyone is so calm, patient, friendly, and understanding. I literally felt so at ease knowing I was in good hands and cared for anytime I came in. I was a nervous WRECK about getting surgery for the first time ever, and also worried about the pain, how the anesthesia would affect me, the healing process afterwards, etc. But I had the best experience here! On the day of my surgery I was handled exceptionally and everyone made me feel at ease and comfortable at every step. I went to sleep and woke up not even believing it was over already! And no pain, not even that bad bleeding either. I am still blown away 1 week after the surgery at how well my gums have healed, and how completely pain-free I've been these past few days following all the instructions they wrote down and sent me home with! We were looking for an oral surgeon for over 2 years for my daughter's impacted wisdom tooth. A couple of the dentists said they would do it, then changed their minds after 6 months waiting for an appointment. The last one saw her X-rays and said she was a "high risk" and suggested we went to a university instead. Luckily, my husband's co-worker recommended Dr. Husam Elias. Everyone in the office is great! They are all professional, friendly, patient, courteous, kind and understanding. My daughter went from consultation to surgery in a week. Dr. Verratti was hands down the best Oral Surgeon we have ever encountered! My son is 19 and has special needs and she was fantastic with him. When I told him we were going back to see her for his follow up check up he was thrilled. That's not his usual reaction to going to the doctors or dentist. If we could give 10 stars we would! From our initial phone call to our post-op appointment, our experience was amazing. Here's an overview: Procedure-- extraction of my daughter's 4 wisdom teeth Initial phone call--gracious, knowledgeable, and patient staff member who chose to answer after hours simply "because I was still here". Worked on our behalf-- staff persevered on our behalf to request a referral from our previous disorganized and unreliable dentist Office-- less than 5 min wait, clean, organized, validates parking Dr Vakilian-- knowledgeable, personable, kind, & patient. He employs many strategies to minimize/manage pain (CT to pinpoint a nerve location, explains all options, specific post op directions with patient explanation, etc). He takes time to walk through scans in order to explain the situation for each tooth and why it needs to be extracted. He details what other procedures can be done along with the extractions, which ones he deems prudent and which are not necessary. He pauses and asks for questions--no rush. Staff--The entire office is calm and chill. Nobody looks haggard or overworked and every single staff member is helpful, kind and efficient. Surgery--goes well with no surprises; Dr V is well prepared; organized protocol for waiting during surgery We are given detailed post-op instructions which explained verbally in a quiet, calm manner with time to ask questions--no rush. We are encouraged to call if we have any questions. Dr. V even gives us his cell number and invites us to call or text. No question is too small. Several hours after surgery--At 3:30 that afternoon, Dr V calls us to check in, see how she is feeling, and if we have any questions Payment--every part of procedure was clearly explained as well as its cost & whether and what insurance would cover. Staff was always patient with our questions & concerns and helped immensely when we had some trouble with our payment options. Extra time--3 days after surgery, my daughter was scheduled to fly out of town. That morning she became anxious about being far away while still recovering. She fretted over whether she might be getting dry socket. We called to simply ask and the office staff immediately offered to have us come in so Dr V could take a look and restore peace of mind. An hour later Dr V kindly explains why the pain feels different on day 4, what dry socket is, & what has been done to avoid it. He listens, is not rushed, and is never condescending. He speaks to my 19 year old daughter respectfully, never diminishing her concerns. He reassures that she is healing well. He reminds gently to call or text if she has any questions & then reviews pain management strategy. My daughter feels confident she can travel because of his excellent bedside manner and competent, thorough and clear explanations. This is by far the best medical practice I have ever encountered. From the front office staff to the assistants to the doctor, everyone was very friendly and very professional. I had Dr. Elias as my oral surgeon. He thoroughly reviewed my scans with me and walked me through the recommended procedures. I had to have a tooth extraction followed a few months later with an implant. I was more than a bit nervous prior to the implant procedure. On January 11, 2021 I called for an appointment for a molar extraction which was extremely infected with an abscess extending into my jaw. I was given an opening the following day in the morning period. I came to the office and was given immediate attention in preparation for the oral surgery extraction procedure. I'm a patient but I've worked in medical sales for many years so I've come across my fair share of doctor offices and never have I witnessed an entire staff that exudes the high level of professionalism and supreme customer service from every single person that is exhibited at this office. Oh and they are punctual. The bathroom is always clean. Major points for that lol. Dr. Elias is a perfectionist and like a talented artist that takes an innovative approach in his treatment. I had a bad situation but he managed to avoid a nearby nerve that could've caused detriment. I had some sort of raging infection that quickly destroyed my bone and gum and was spreading. He used some sort of innovative matrix and prp technologies and I don't know exactly how he did it but where I didn't have bone or gum before, I now have bone and gun. My first procedure was Facetite with Dr. Elias. I was able to do the procedure awake on a Friday & was back to work on Monday! I was still swollen but not in pain at all. It's a minimum invasive procedure to tighten the skin & gets rid of the fat. The staff was really friendly and was able to answer all my questions. I've been back many more times for Botox & fillers. I've been coming here for years. The office: Clean and inviting. The staff: So friendly and human. Addy's a hoot. The surgery nurse: Constance - I love this woman. Such a sweet and competent person. Plus she talks about food with me which is a plus. Rest of surgical staff is excellent as well. The doctor: Dr Stephens is the best. Super friendly, funny and incredibly smart. Explains each step in detail prior to performing the surgery and why it's necessary. I had a tooth pulled yesterday and some major gum work done as well. Not even needing the Percocet they prescribed. Ibuprofen regular dose working just fine. They offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) as well as full sedation which I opted for. And shout out to Constance for being a pro with the needle. I didn't feel it at all and finding my veins is no easy task. No need to be nervous when coming here. They will take great care of you.
