Dr. Taneja is a great surgeon. I had a tummy tuck done in April and so far I love the results. The only problem is that if you're not an influencer, you don't really get to see the doctor besides the consultation and day of surgery. There is not a lot of communication it is very hard to get a hold of anyone when you have a question. I found that email is the best way. Would I recommend yes and no yes because the results are great no because there is not much communication between you and Dr. and mind you it is not cheap. I am paying a good amount of money. I'm 4 months post op and finally decided to write this review. First of all what everyone should know right off the bat - DO NOT go to Dr. Taneja for a breast lift. He seems to be favored for his simple implants but he does an absolutely horrible job with breast lifts and implants. I got a lift with 350cc implants. The consultation itself wasn't too bad but hated that I had to pay a non-refundable $500 to see him in person for a consultation. Fast forward to the day of surgery - this is when the red flags started and my gut was telling me to not go through it but figured I was just nervous. His staff at the Fountain Valley surgical center are incredibly rude and dismissive. I saw Dr. Taneja before surgery to confirm the work I wanted done. He free handed all of the markings (which I suspect is the reason for his sloppy work) and asked if I wanted him to redo my nipples. I agreed, big mistake. Immediately after surgery, I woke up in extreme pain and asked the nurse for more pain peds. She said she couldn't give me anything because my heart rate was low and I was being discharged and could take my pain meds in the car. Mind you, I'm being discharged 20-30min after surgery and rushed out because they have the girls coming in/out of surgery like crazy. Now this is where everything goes down hill fast. When I went back for my 1st follow up, I didn't see Dr. Taneja. I saw his medical assistant which I knew was another red flag because why am I not seeing my doctor?? Then the next 2 follow ups I still don't see him, but his medical assistants. Around the 2 week follow up, I started feeling a lot of pain on my right incision and the bruising was increasing. They dismissed my concerns at the follow up appointment. One morning, I wake up to my right breast in extreme heat and see fluid coming out of the gauze. I try to call Dr. Taneja but they don't answer so I go to urgent care. I'm seen at urgent care where the doctor removes the gauze and find I had a wound dehiscence! I nearly passed out at the sight. Dr. Taneja's nurse practitioner calls me back and I tell her what's going on - she immediately dismisses my concerns and tells me it's common! The nerve. I go off and tell her I demand to see Dr. Taneja to which she says not to bother because he's just going to have me be treated by his medical assistants. At this point I have a massive hole in my right incision, my left breast is still not dropping and my nipples are completely uneven because when he redid them he didn't cut both evenly round. I continue to see the nurse practitioner for 2 more follow ups, with Dr. Taneja no where in sight. I finally see Dr. Taneja during my 12 week follow up and no where in my chart did the nurse practitioner indicate I had a major complication. So when I told Dr. Taneja about it and showed him my scar, he dismissed it and said we can "fix it with another surgery". Like hell I'd ever trust him again. He sees me for 5 minutes MAX when I start asking him questions about normal things to which he responds "let me get one of the girls to help you because you have a lot of questions". Please please please do NOT go to Taneja. He's an influencer doctor who does subpar work and the after care is atrocious. Look at my wound, it's still healing 4 months later and the scarring will forever haunt me. I've left comments on his IG page but they delete them. Luckily I've had a few girls message me on IG after reading my comments and convinced them to go to another surgeon. read more

I don't even know where to start. My experience was better than I expected. Dr. Taneja is an amazing doctor and the best advice I can give you if you are reading this and contemplating whether you should go to him or not, just go to him! It's the best decision I made. I got my breast augmentation done in March, and it was very painful. You will need someone to take care of you for a week. Although, you can go back to work the following day-with restrictions, I don't recommend it. Taking a shower, using the rest room, eating, drinking water, sleeping like a vampire were huge obstacles that you will need to overcome during the first week after surgery. I had a breast augmentation performed in 2018 by Dr. Arvin Taneja. I was only 24 years old and naïve at the time, but now I have gotten older and have had a chance to reflect on some of the details. It's clear to me now that almost every aspect of the procedure was very unprofessional. The day of the surgery I was told that the previously agreed upon size of the implants would leave my breasts asymmetric and thus I would need to increase the size of the left implant. This seemed counterintuitive, but I trusted the DOCTOR to be the expert and went along with it. Now my left breast is considerably larger than the right and has excruciating nerve damage on my nipple, I can't touch it without it causing me terrible pain. The second thing that threw me off was that I was not told to remove my shoes prior to surgery which seemed unsanitary. I understand that the breasts are far from the feet, but if bacteria couldn't travel doctors wouldn't wash to the elbow, right? My first impression of Dr. Taneja was that he's soooo nice! He's a really positive vibe to even be around. He seemed so positive that he could give me the results that I wanted, and he did! Im not even fully healed, and my breasts are gorgeous! His staff is super friendly too. They really took their time with me.. answering all my questions, letting me try on sizers, even reassuring me because I was so nervous. I've been to other breast augmentation consultations and I wasn't treated nearly as well as I was at My Look. My surgery: 745 cc high profile silicone gel implants, under the muscle, incision under the boob. (I still haven't fully healed/dropped yet) Victorias Secret sized me at a 32 DDD.. 34 DD as an alternative. (I think I'm bigger than this though.. I've heard Victorias secret sizes kind of small and as my implants keep dropping into the pocket, the cup size keeps looking bigger. Cons: The only negative thing that I have to say about my experience, is that I kind of felt like a number towards the end of this process. They were I think 2 hours late having my wait in the waiting room starving/fasting for my surgery. I understand that the doctor is a really busy guy, but I guess I kind of felt like I wanted to talk to him more. I don't know if that sounds silly? But I was so so nervous.. and I remember laying in the bed before the anesthesia and no one was talking to me.. like I guess I wanted comfort or reassurance... Maybe Dr. Taneja could have left me with a couple of encouraging words before i passed out. The first week of healing was HORRIBLE. I didn't expect it to be that bad.. I even went in for a walk-in consultation to make sure that everything was looking fine.
