The space was great, onboard restroom and storage and cooking was a huge help. Can't wait for our next trip! This is the spot to rent a Camper Van. Superior service in every way. Easy, simple, kind, friendly,…read morehelpful, awesome. My wife and I love this business so let me elaborate: Rental: I was just inquiring about renting a Camper Van from Todd and he explained everything about everything. I took up his time like crazy asking all kinds of questions day after day and no matter how much I called at inopportune times he would always answer with a positive attitude and give me the low down on any questions and concerns. He even called me to say that he had put the van aside for me and that people were interested and wanted to offer the van to me first. I couldn't miss out so I finally booked. What a guy. Picking up the Van was great and easy. I showed up and Todd wasn't there but Tom is there working hard to make everything work and polish all the details on the cleaning. He takes the time for the tour, gives tips, friendly and helpful in every way even under the immense heat and more obnoxious loads of questions. On the road: I never had an issue but if i had some concerns or forgot how to work something, Todd would always answer or call back shortly after. I felt safe knowing that the Van is very well maintained and that I had someone REALLY there if I needed it. The Pleasure Way Vans that are available are top of the line comfort for these camper vans, and it was really enjoyable to travel in it. We did 3500 miles and did amazing things and stayed at amazing places. All this trip wouldn't of been as special without our home on wheels. Its fun and very convenient to always have everything with you. I could talk forever about how special this company made our trip and if you are still reading and not calling to reserve then let me cut it here so you don't waist anymore time.

I'm writing this review in hopes that another family will not be taken advantage of…read more I applied to purchase a trailer from Westland Campers on July 27th. On July 29th I spoke with a man named Sean. He advised that I was approved for a 2018 Wildwood Xtreme Lite. There would be $2000 down, and $700 per month for 60 months. I was pretty excited to have a new trailer for our annual camping trip! He sent photos, answered my questions, and assured me that the tires, roof and trailer were in great shape. Unfortunately, he said he was leaving for vacation, then needed a day to go through the trailer and get it ready for the sale when he returned, so we wouldn't be able to pick up the trailer until 8/4. Additionally, I was told he'd need the $2k right away via Zelle to hold it. I didn't feel comfortable with that arrangement, so he agreed to hold it if I'd send $500 immediately via Zelle, and the rest at pick up on the 4th, so I did do $500. We went ahead and postponed our trip from the 1st to the 4th. We had everything laid out at home ready to load our new-to-us trailer, got the trailer insured, and planned to pick up the trailer & head out! Sean wasn't sure what the hitch size we needed was, so we brought a reversible ball, and figured we'd have to stop for a load-leveling sway hitch once we knew the type we needed. Upon arrival at Westland Campers in Pomona, we excitedly went to check out the trailer. The first thing we noticed was that all 4 tires were completely cracked and chewed up. Sean had assured me the tires were fine. When we pointed this out, he said we could take the trailer to his tire person a few miles away for new tires. I feel that he should have checked the tires before answering that they were in good shape. Next, we noticed that there was no mattress on the queen bed. I don't mind that, but it adds an extra layer of work needed prior to using the trailer. He didn't tell me about that. Third, the trailer was filthy. There were handprints, dirt, stains, and rodent feces in some drawers. This trailer would require a full day of hard cleaning, as well as the time needed to get the tires replaced to be usable. On the outside, the awning had multiple tears. Several of the plastic latches & light covers were missing or broken. He said he'd order replacements and send them to us, but again, this should have been done prior to delivery in my opinion. After weighing the amount of work and time, expense, and not having a proper hitch configuration, we decided not to move forward with the purchase. After much back and forth discussion with Sean, he declined to refund the good-faith deposit, or even apologize for the misrepresentation of the trailer's condition. I initially wrote this review on Tuesday evening. Sean repeatedly text me with threats and rude comments, saying I was lying, and insisting I remove my review. Finally, I just deleted it. It was stressing me out and I was trying to enjoy what was left of my time off work. But I've decided I will not succumb to blackmail. I went back through the dates, messages and conversations. Everything I am saying is the complete truth and I double checked prior to rewriting this review. I am not trying to "ruin his reputation", I simply want potential customers to be careful and trust your gut when dealing with Westland Campers.

Our goal for the trip was to have a fun, memorable, and safe experience in the journey and our Loft camper exceeded our expectations. The vehicle is thoughtfully and beautifully designed and maintained with the traveler's comfort and safety as the forefront in their priorities. It was a comfortable, stylish, functional vehicle and definitely enhanced our road trip experience. From start to finish, altCamp's does a thorough and detailed job of guiding you through the entire process. On the day of our camper van pick up, we met with Adam, the owner. He is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and detailed in walking us through all of the functions and amenities of the vehicle to make sure we understood how everything worked and that we were comfortable with everything. He also provided his contact information in case we needed to reach him during our trip if we had any questions or concerns. Here are some of the highlights for the altCamp's Loft camper worth noting from us- * The performance of the vehicle itself is got a lot of power, great steering, and although you were in a sprinter van, it does not feel big at all. Zero issues with parking the vehicle in a standard parking lot space. * The layout of the interior is strategically designed with beautiful craftsmanship throughout. We were pleasantly surprised by the multiple storage areas and cubbies that made it helpful to be able to pack and bring along with us to have some comforts of home within the camper van. * The bed is incredibly comfortable, and after a long day of adventure, it really did give us a great night's sleep, and helped us to recharge for the next day. * We appreciated the very smart and thoughtful design of the sink and table top area. The stovetop heated up surprisingly fast and allowed us cook and boil water within minutes. The refrigerator and the freezer was very generously sized and we were able to fit a lot of food and drinks in there. * Both the front and back seats were very comfortable when on the road. We were able to configure and move the back seats to give us more space, and swiveling the front seats allowed us to face each other and spend time with each other. * We loved the sound system. There was absolutely no road noise coming into the vehicle, and we were able to enjoy crystal clear sounds, which makes for much more road tripping driving experience. * The vehicle is incredibly insulated, and although it was chilly at night, we found that we didn't even have to turn the heater on. * There is a tent on the top of the vehicle, and it takes seconds to put up and dismantle. * There is a small hose attachment in the back that allowed us to rinse off in the evenings. * There are ample lighting options, both inside the vehicle and outside of the vehicle. We loved the memories we made on this trip- playing cards, making chili spaghetti and hot dogs for meals, star gazing, enjoying the sound system, and just unplugging and spending quality time with the family. altCamp gave our family a great experience and we can't wait to get back on the road again soon with one of their vehicles.

Ed and Arturo took great care of us, making sure that we had everything we needed, and even went over specific tips and tricks we could use to conserve as much power as possible since we were boondocking for the first time. Ed answered my billion questions over the months leading up to our booking, and made me feel very confident and secure everything would go well. Arturo gave us a great walkthrough of all the RV's features and really set us up for success. When you're talking with these guys, you know that they really care about you having a fantastic and easy time on your adventures. The RV was fully stocked with everything we could have needed - linens, coffee machine, kitchen gear, cleaning supplies, the works! I definitely did not need to pack so much, because it was clear that they had already thought of everything their clients might need. The RV was pristinely clean and didn't have a single technical issue. And the fact that they take Sunday dropoffs was a lifesaver! This was the first time we'd ever rented an RV, and the whole experience was so smooth and comfortable that I can't wait for another excuse to go on an RV trip. We definitely will be booking with Road Shark in the future.

I did a lot of research on private rental companies vs. owner rentals. I really liked how luxurious the interiors were and how they offered delivery and pick up. It was more pricey but I wanted to be comfortable. I decided to give Road shark a try and it worked out beautifully. *One thing I did not know is how much additional rental insurance etc. you had to tack on with the rental. Besides that, the amenities were suitable for my family of four and my two fur boys. I checked in with Brett prior to delivery date to get some of my questions answered. He personally delivered the RV and gave us a run down of all the amenities and how to operate everything. I appreciated the accuracy of the yelp photos of the interiors. So many times you rent and find out when you arrive, the pictures were very outdated and what you get paid is not what you get. Not in this case. I paid for Wifi connection but they did not bring an ipad for connectivity. Brett apologized and said he would comp us for the Wifi charge. He told us we could just use our phone's hotspot and connect. It worked out nicely, and we had Wifi at the campgrounds. We were comped for it. Brett made sure we understood all instructions before he hailed an uber back to LA. Since it was out first time RV-ing, we went to KOA in San Diego to reduce anxiety. the drive was smooth up to 65 miles per hour. When we exceeded the recommended speed, things would start rattling and shaking. We quickly understood why we had to adhere to the speed recommended to drive. Other than that, my kids were very happy sitting in the back enjoying their onboard entertainment. When we arrived at the campgrounds, went pulled into our spot with full hookups. We took note the black water port did not have an adapter so we could not hook it up full time to empty. I texted Brett and he said we could either purchase a kit that would be reimburses or not empty it (and we would not get charged since no adapter). We later figured out a way how to manually empty as needed. Everything else worked well. I was extremely surprised at how well the convection oven/microwave worked for the kids chicken nuggets and corn dogs. Even though all the kitchenware was included in the RV, we still brought our own pans and disposable dishware. The beds were clean, freshly laundered sheets smelled great but did not fit the beds well (probably a common issue). It only comes with 3 sets of sheets and towels. Only two pillows which I also asked Brett about. He said we could purchase some and they will comp us for the cost. We survived without it. We took a shower the first night on the RV but then decided to transition to the showers in the building due to space. The onboard water temp and pressure was great. I did not have to worry about running out of hot water. The toilet flush pressure was also ideal to combat my husbands bathroom trips. No issues with the kitchen sink or any other appliances. The fridge was a perfect size for all our meats and frozen desserts. The car shades in front and the shades for the interior created a perfect environment for sleep. We really enjoy the outside LED light awnings. We utilized the camp ground picnic table and internet to eat dinners and watch movies around the campfire. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Brett had great communication throughout the trip and the last day as we came home. I let him know we were heading back and he let us know when he would be coming over to provide pick up. We got home, he came to pick up the RV, and he was on his way back to LA. About a week later I received the email about the $1,500 deposit scheduled for refund on our account, and he swapped the pick up delivery/fee with the Wifi charge. I highly recommend renting with RoadShark RV. We had a great newbie glamping experience. The price of a comfortable and newer interior rental made all the difference for me and my family. Thank you again, Brett for the awesome customer service!

Would never rent from them ever again. They are cheaper than other sites but you get what you pay…read morefor. Toured at least 5 class A RVs several months before our trip. Some had just come back from Burning Man so they were filthy but they said all the carpet would be shampooed & everything professionally cleaned when we picked it up. Stopped by a few times before our trip to tour the RV with friends that would join us & make sure items that needed fixing were getting done. We arrive at our pickup time of noon & during the walk through we find out the carpet wasn't shampooed as promised as there were stains. We take a ton of pictures as evidence so they don't say we caused the stains. We noticed one of the living room windows didn't have a privacy curtain, we said we needed that. Their solution was to tape a padded aluminum square over the window, essentially losing the use of light & air from 1 of the 2 main windows in the main living area. Then we wanted to check to make sure all the slide outs were working properly before taking possession but the bedroom slide out wouldn't slide back in. Maintenance was called & after more than an hour of fidgeting with the slide, it finally slid back in but I was already not happy or confident in the condition of the RV. We drive the RV back home to load up & had to top off the gas tank as it wasn't full. Once we got home, we opened the slides to start loading & find out it won't slide back in again. Now it's 4 pm & & we have to call them back. They said to bring it back & they will fix it. Now we have to unload stuff we had started to load so we can take it back, in case it isn't fixable. Ugh! Our husbands drive the RV back & maintenance tries to fix it but couldn't so a part was ordered. We asked if there was a different RV, because now we have zero confidence the RV will work properly. They said they didn't have a similar one to exchange. We waited 1.5 hrs for the part to be delivered but that didn't fix the issue with the slide. Now they said they had another RV & it was slightly bigger. Ughhhh, now we are several hours behind schedule due to the issues with the 1st RV. By the time we get the replacement RV back home, it's past 7pm & dark out & impossible to take good pictures of the condition of the outside of the 2nd RV for any existing issues or damage. Ughhhh When we finally finished loading everything, it is well past 1am & we are exhausted from the extremely long day. We had to delay our departure to Sequoia the next morning so we can get enough sleep for the long drive. This caused us to arrive to the RV park late in the evening & hookup in the dark, which we didn't want to do. When we took our first turn, the contents of the refrigerator fell out when the doors flung opened. It was a residential fridge, not an RV fridge with locking closures. That's when we noticed there were hooks on the side of the fridge. Luckily we had some bungee cords that we used to keep the fridge doors shut using the hooks, when we were driving. It would've been nice if ShareMyCoach warned us or provided straps. They also tried to tell us we dented the fridge when we didn't. The audacity, considering all the issues we had with the 1st & replacement RV!! The main living room heater worked the 1st night but stopped working after that. We had to crank up the heater in the back bedroom & keep the bedroom door ajar so our friends sleeping on the pull out couch in the living room could get some warmth at night. Then there was a steady & annoying beep coming from the microwave every 5 mins & we couldn't figure how to stop it, even though our husbands are handy. We had to call their maintenance but he didn't get back to us until the next day. Told us to reset the inverter but the beeping came back whenever we were hooked up to power. We also rented 2 e-bikes from them & on the day of pickup, 1 of the bikes we were going to rent had a flat tire. And the batteries were old & could not hold a full charge to go more than 5 miles, even though we kept them charged for 2 days. What a rip off for charging $30 a day for each e-bike!! When we complained they apologized but didn't give us credit. Do not do business with them!
