Just had my baby shower here. With 97 RSVP, Spencer and his crew really killed it with exactly what I was hoping for. Chill vibes, semi private upstairs area, plenty of comfortable seating, food on the flow (on a tab, so there was much less waste), good booze. Went here with a friend last weekend to unwind a little bit from work; we were supposed to visit Honest Abe then SoCal Vibes because they're next with each other but at that time Honest Abe was doing Spring Cleaning (I'll post separate review for Honest Abe), their Ciders and Meads tho were transferred to SoCal Vibes Brewery and it was perfect cause we just stayed in one place.. Sooo, to start, I love the atmosphere of this brewery, its pretty laid back and chill, they have a lot of board games and Cornhole too, their drinks are all good, my favorite is wipeout.. its so refreshing :) if you purchase a growler with them, they'll give you a discount on your next purchase since they promote recycling which is really cool but most of all, I find it great that they promote Honest Abe too. Cider & Mead based drinks, not what I had expected but this place is pretty freaking good. Their ciders and meads have a wide selection of flavors from Lychee, Blueberry, Peach, to Berry White! All were pretty good, a flight seems like a good option. They were nice enough to offer a splash to see if you'd enjoy a full glass before pouring. If you're not looking for ciders, they also have beers on tap ranging from IPAs, Pilsners and other. Also a small cocktail menu with their own brandy. May have to come back to try that! Food left more to be desired, the poke nachos seemed like the best thing on the menu. Round it out with some games and an upper deck that may or may not be open. Came here on a saturday night, first time trying mead. Had the lychee and wild flower with a few of thier ciders as well. All good flavors but would definitely recomend the lychee mead over the others. Food wise, I tried the pulled pork sandwich. Nice apple wood smoke flavor to it and not to overbearing. The crispy bun and pickles really made the rolls complete. Only criticism I have is for the wings. They had good size to them, flavor, and spice but where oven baked rather than fried. We found this place accidentally and it was one of the best accidents to happen to me we were able to taste a lot of there ciders and beers they were so good and we also got to taste some off the menu drinks like the "COFFEE ABRAHAM" they need to put this on the drink menu permanently Jaime is like Einstein when it comes to making drinks another off the menu drink that was bomb af was "SoCal blue Hawaiian" they need to add that one to the menu as well. Sad to see Hokulea Brewery close down but in its place is SoCal Cider who takes over the establishment. We stopped by over the weekend and had a great time with awesome service from Jamie who's very cool and personable. SoCal Cider is an offshoot of Honest Abe next door and considered a 2nd tap room and from what I hear will have some food offerings in the near future but they're currently in their soft opening stage right now. It's not all ciders either as they have some guest taps from Santa Monica Brewery but the cider we did try, the Mimosa Cider was excellent. Can't wait for their Grand Opening in the next few weeks. read more

Just wanted to update my review with photo evidence in response to accusations of "fake news." Let's leave it to the photos attached and people can decide for themselves. I admit the wording was a bit harsh but everything was 100% the truth. Staff were not wearing masks properly (below the nose) while serving drinks and some person was sitting inside on his laptop with his bandana completely around his neck. There was no social distancing in place (pls see attached pics) with no cleaning before or after each guest (my table was not cleaned at all, still had trash and bits of food on it). So, while I admit, maybe I caught y'all on a bad day, it's unacceptable, irresponsible, and dangerous to run a busy establishment in this manner during this time. read more

Something new in the area, opened maybe 6 7 months ago. They used to be called Southern California cider and beer co when first opened, now called California Vibes. I like the name change, easier to roll off the tongue. One cool thing is they now have a "kitchen" and you can now order hotdogs and sandwiches, and even poke. Beer selection extends beyond the display menu onto printed menu. Our usual pours are "Orange Sunshine", "Sex wax", and Cali Blonde. Price is the typical $7/pint, similar to most breweries around. Service is good, as expected. Food was ok. I had the LA Street dog. It wasn't wrapped in bacon as I had hoped but instead had bacon pieces as as topping. Would try other items next time. You could've been nicer when asking me for my credit card even though it was a hosted party. You had such a horrible attitude. You rolled your eyes and was so irritated. My friend and I had never had mead, so we decided to give this place a try on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered the mead flight and the cider flight, and the bartender was super helpful explaining each item. It turns out, I'm not much of a mead fan, aside from the blueberry (yum), but their ciders were on point. So many delicious flavors, especially the peach and mimosa. I love this place and Jaime the bartender but some other bartender with tattoos has horrible customer service we sat at a table that is usually a ping pong table and it broke down. When it did the bartender was upset and said I really don't want to bring another table out like what did u guys do? We legit didn't even lean on it or anything the whole situation is already embarrassing and to have the bartender blame us and say he didn't want to bring another table out is very upsetting. I'm a customer that comes every Friday and to have this situation happen to us makes me not want to come at all. I love this place and love that they we are able to attend even through Covid but I wish this bartender would have been more forgiving and understanding instead of making us feel embarrassed and at fault. When I asked for someone to help me the overweight bartender with really dry hair and bad tattoos immediately gave me attitude and told me she had to take care of the line first. We had gotten there before the line. We ordered our food, the burger was dry and over cooked the shrimp nachos where just the nacho chips a dab of guacamole and the SMALLEST shrimp you've ever seen. As small as the shrimps from og cup of noodles. No lie. Then later I went to buy another beer again this over weight girl with the dry hair immediately had an attitude because your earlier I asked for someone to help me. I asked her why she had an attitude and she started getting loud and argumentative. There is ZERO professionalism or customer service. I'll never spend a cent here again. We stopped here on a whim. The lady at the counter was super nice and super informative. It was in the middle of the day in the middle of the week so it was really mellow. The vibe was really nice there. The ciders are delicious and wished we had time to enjoy a flight. the tacos were good.
