Definitely a 10/10 in my book! Just amazing. Next was garlic sesame my second favorite! No to sweet but rich in flavor. The cucumber salad was a nice touch to the fatty food! Shocked I just discovered this place. We got an extra 5 free wings because it was wing day or something and got some mango flavor but it was just okay. The woman that answered was really sweet. She helped me with the menu and flavors. I wasn't really sure what to order and she took her time with me and allowed me to think and ask my husband on his thoughts. We called in and picked up the order. My husband said he found more things he wants to try next time. He said the staff provide good service while he was there and he felt it was a cute little spot. SoCal Wings just recently opened up right smack near the Fullerton colleges. I think this is a great area for his place as it's just going to get busy as things go back to normal. Place has good amount of parking, it looks like it's not fully operational yet with their seatings but at the same time not all restaurants are back to normal just yet. The Wings: so I went to this place to essentially try out their wings cmon it's in there name! So I got the 10 piece wing meal with 5 or their House Special sauced wings and the other being a dry rub Parmesan garlic. No extra surcharge for the ranch which is a plus in my opinion. These came out awesome! Props to their wing boxes as they have holes in them to let the steam out so you don't end up with soggy wings cause who wants that. Got home and wings were still hot and crispy. With their House Special you get a more soy/umami slight spice from the jalapeño flavor it's like in between those tradition salt and pepper wings from Chinese restaurants and sweet soy chicken glaze. Parmesan cheese wings came out great very good flavor with the cheese visibly melted on to the wings. Wings were juicy and tender and delicious. I got the 15 pieces with lemon pepper, jalapeño pepper, and spicy buffalo garlic. They were all very delicious but my favorite was probably the spicy buffalo garlic. Highly recommend! Where I've once given 5 stars now I regretfully give 3. The flavor and cook consistency are still as great as ever. But the wings have become smaller and smaller to the point where sometimes there's more fried chicken skin than actual meat. I'm not sure if you have changed vendors, but this is disappointing. First off, this place is so dirty. The bathrooms aren't great, the floor is sticky, just not what I thought it'd be. The wings weren't crispy at all. The skin was stretching. I LOVE SoCal Wings. I've been going to the Westminster location for YEARS. When I saw on Instagram that they were opening another location in Fullerton, I was superrrr excited because I've been wanting to take my bf there so he could try it too. This place is located in a big shopping plaza next to Mr. Lee's BBQ. It's down the way from Afters and next to a CVS or Walgreens. There's plenty of parking. The way it's set up is definitely better than the Westminster location in my opinion. You order from the side of the store and the tables are away from it. At the Westminster location, if the line is long, you'll be on top of the tables where people are sitting (well, how it was before Covid). The menu is pretty much the same. I always get the 10 boneless wings in the garlic parmesan and the house special, with an extra side of house special sauce. I got the garlic fries and they were amazing. The bf was really happy with his picks too. He liked that there are deals during the week too. Service was awesome! The guy who helped us was super nice.
