I like the fact they are doing delivery. Grubhut did pretty good with the delivery, fast and food kept the right temperature. This is the second time eating from the place, our first time was pretty good and that's why we decided to eat there again. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the popcorn chicken this time. We want to think that maybe the oil that they were cooked in was pretty used already since we ordered late In the evening therefore giving the chicken a bitter taste. We ordered other items such as cheese wontons and garlic fries. The wontons are really good, the fries are good as well but they also had a bitter taste at the end. I'm a huge wing lover, I was coming to this side of town on vacation to Disneyland. As always I start looking for wing restaurants near my hotel and stumbled upon this place on yelp. The pictures of the wings looked delicious and reviews seemed great! I even went to Disneyland late to try this place out and they close before I leave Disney. I ordered 15 wings to try multiple flavors. Garlic parm, jalepeno pepper and hot Buffalo. The lady at the register seemed very annoyed with me. The restaurant was empty , I was the only one , they have multiple tvs but on low volume. Once I received my wings, I noticed my jalepeno pepper wings had a sauce and/or glaze over them. Which is confusing because it's Under the "dry rub" section. Regardless, it lacked flavor as well as the garlic parm . The hot Buffalo were okay. I'm not sure where they keep the ranch but it was super hard, had to shake my container for the ranch to drip out. I definitely will not be coming back. read more

Their wings are a bit sweet for my preference, even the buffalo gold flavor. The wings came out slightly soggy as well, due to the sauces. I was craving fries so I got their loaded fries. Their garlic sriracha sauce is really good, not too sweet or spicy, although I may ask for light sauce next time so the chicken stays crunchy. The fries were flavorful, crispy (but not overly so), and actually filling. Perfect for loaded fries, which is nice because a lot of places don't use the right fries. It paired perfectly with the chicken and nacho sauce. It seems like they use a good quality nacho cheese sauce because it didn't have a bad artificial taste. I also enjoyed their SoCal refresher which is a tonic water-based drink with fruity flavors. The servers were really friendly and answered all of my questions. I was impressed with the value of the food as well. A small loaded fries will fill you up. Great portion sizes and not great prices. Will definitely be back again! The restaurant is very clean and it's great to sit outside when it's warm. Wings are ordered on batches of 5, and they have made me one or two separate ones (from my batch) so I can try a flavor. Decided to stop here with my boyfriend today for a quick lunch to takeout. I got a 10-piece traditional wing meal with waffle fries and a drink. My two flavorings for the wings were garlic parmesan and lemon pepper, my two faves generally. I was extremely disappointed with this establishment's interpretation of the two flavors. I could BARELY taste the garlic in the garlic parmesan. The flavor overall was so subtle and almost bland that I needed to dunk a few in my ranch just to taste anything. The lemon pepper tasted like they took the lemon pepper seasoning from my spice cabinet that I bought from Aldi and tossed it in that post frying. Overall, these wings were pretty bland as well which leads me to think they may not even be seasoning the chicken itself well either. I would give them 2 stars honestly but am giving 3 bc the service was quick and the order taker was friendly. She answered all the questions my bf had about some sauces in a friendly manner. COVID precautions were fine too, no issues there. I'm willing to try this place again one more time with a couple different sauce and menu options to see how they fare and will update my review accordingly! read more

So Cal Wings will now and forever be my go to wing spot over a Wingstop or Buffalo Wild Wings any day! The number of flavors they have available for wet or dry rub alone is impressive, the staff is sooooo friendly and helpful, and they are beyond welcoming and excited to have you there. I probably asked a million questions before and after ordering, since I've never been there, and the cashier didn't hesitate to tell me the inside scoop on everything! What is super impressive is that all of their wings are battered differently - meaning your boneless aren't the same as the popcorn chicken or the kids! Didn't know what I wanted to for dinner. Looked up random takeout places. Saw that this had only a few reviews and noticed it was new, at least to the Fullerton area. Looked at their photos, everything seemed to look good, but it's not always 100% of the time that something tastes as good as it looks. Finally decided on going with the Green Thai Tea & and some traditional wings in House Special & Lemon Pepper. Great combo!! These wings aren't dripping in grease like other wing spots, and they were perfectly crunchy all around. A few bites of the the semi sweet wing mixed with a dash of jalapeño on the House Special was already enough to make me happy. Lemon Pepper was just delicious, green Thai tea perfected the meal.
