So five was apologetic and accommodating and I will say, their coaches are lovely and great with kids. If you have a soccer loving kiddo, or one that wants to try, this is a good spot. Just be sure on the schedule so you're set.

Very clean and comfortable place which is noticed right away upon entering.. This January was our first experience with indoor soccer here and it exceeded my expectations. Being that it's turf you move fast so a wonderful different experience which challenges players. You also get to watch the game or practice later on as they video them. Not only is this a great of you happen to miss a game or practice as an audience member but also because as a player you're able to go back and see where you can improve. When watching from the field area and not the lounge, I suggest bringing an extra layer as it can get chilly. Also take your time to get there the first couple times as location can be tricky to navigate. Sofive is set amongst an industrial neighborhood full of warehouses. I still get confused and I've been there every weekend for the past two months. Every warehouse and street looks the same to me lol. Nice bonus - they serve beer and snacks.

I stopped playing for a long time and then came back to it with with Frank at Soccer Beyond. It was perfect for me as I had some foundation for playing but was extremely rusty. With Frank, you get to play lots and also scrimmage a lot. You work a lot on foundations, passing and dribbling skills that are designed to help you develop those skills. Even if you are advanced, there's a benefit. And you are a beginner, this is perfect as these are the type of drills you do as a kid. For someone who's more advanced and may say "why would I need to do that?" the answer is that even the pros still do the same exact drills. An as for beginners who might be put of by the previous reviewer's comment that "many of the drills seem to advanced for the absolute beginners" the truth is that this is exactly what we did as kids in school. Exactly. You'll get better just by coming often and working at it. (and get your own ball too) The group of people are also really cool and they generally come back again and again. And Frank is a really good coach and a very nice guy. To get this kind of instruction is really difficult. There's another guy in brooklyn that runs something similar and while I like him, he is simply no where near as good or as qualified as Frank is.

Soccer Beyond offers soccer lessons for adults. Sessions include scrimmaging and fitness, but I go…read morefor the drills. It's true that drills can be a little dull, but Coach Frank chooses them well, changes them often, and my touch has benefited. The sessions are welcoming and cordial. Many people return week after week. Skill level is skewed towards the beginner. Many of the drills seem a bit too advanced for the absolute beginners, who might benefit more from just getting a lot of touches via dribbling and passing drills.

This league doesn't hold a candle to NYC Social…read more NYC Social is fun and encourages collaboration amongst all of the teams. They have contests at the post-game bar meet ups for things like the most team spirit and social media love where you can win credits for future games or more importantly, a bar tab. They update their rain hotline instead of making you come to the field, only to cancel the game. They have a professional photographer that comes to the game to take action shots. Their refs are actually friendly. They hold games at a reasonable hour and not 10:00 at night. They don't allow bunting. Most importantly, their fields are not in the middle of crime ridden areas. ZogSports was fun because I got to play kickball with some great friends, but they run a really poor organization. It's a shame that this is one of the only adult sports leagues in Hoboken.

Zogsports is a great, social…read moreorganization that allows you to have fun, be social, and get some endorphins flowing simultaneously. Does it replace the gym? Probably not, unless you do one of the super-competitive leagues. I did cornhole, so umm, yeah, I still needed to hit the gym afterwards haha. But I had a ton of fun, and I made some great friends that I still talk to outside of the games. There are a variety of options. In the past, I've also done volleyball, but there's kickball, soccer, dodgeball, softball, and more. You want to play it? They probably have it. You can also choose your competitive level, so whether you're a top athlete, or have 0 hand-eye coordination, there is a league for you. There are leagues offered throughout the year, and you can choose based on days (ie: Sunday league, as opposed to a weekday league). If your work schedule isn't flexible, sometimes the times can conflict. It's also a little expensive (BUT part of your contribution goes to donating to the winning team's philanthropic organization). You also get discounted alcohol after the games. Overall, if you have the time and you enjoy being social, do it. I suggest joining with at least one friend in the beginning so you feel at ease, but if you rather go at it solo, you'll still have a blast!

This place is just hands down AWSOME. Why? Because it is not a place to just hit a few balls (it…read morecan be if you want it to be), it is an entire training facility! Today I made arrangements with my teammates to go to the batting cages. Only four of us were available for practice and going to a field would have been kind of useless. So I went on Yelp and began to look up nearby locations and this is the first place that popped up. Took a moment to look at their rates and was pretty impressed with what I found. Great place to keep in mind if I ever have a kid because the staff is full of professionals with prior baseball and softball experience. Early this morning i made a reservation and I took a deal today which was $50 for one hour. With the $50, you get one lane and can have up to six people with you. Once inside I went to the register in the front. Payment was easy and the man helping us was extremely nice. Everything was all set up for us when we arrived. The guy at the register was more than happy to also adjust the machine to our needs whenever we needed it. I liked this as opposed to a regular batting cage because you have the ability to adjust the pitch. In total, there are four lanes inside the facility. For an hour the four of us were able to take more than enough swings (it wound up being only $12 a person). I was kind of disappointed we didn't bring gloves because we could have even thrown around a little bit! Next time! The one thing I would like to point out is that facility is not for individual use while batting. You need someone with you to feed the pitches to you. All and all, I consider this place a homerun! I will be more than happy to return in the future!

But the nameset and Premier League patch WERE NOT authentic. The "M. Salah" nameset was probably a 6.5/10 in quality, noticeably thinner than your typical Avery Dennison/Sporting ID namesets. The Premier League patch was a 2/10. Attrocious... Smaller by some margin, the lion was blurry, and the patch poorly cut out from the printing sheet. I was shocked with how bad it was. Why on Earth would a retail store would go through this trouble when they can just do it right for a few dollars more. So, while I would recommend their products overall, I would not recommend anyone buy a jersey with a player's name on the back. Hope they reconsider cutting these terrible corners.
