Hi Megan, we don’t have live music anymore on a regular basis. Every once in a while we will have a band or DJ play if we are throwing a party, and we will post those details on our social media.

Do you have any vegan brunch options?

Not originally, but many items can be modified to be Vegan

Good place for kids?

Social Hall isn't geared towards kids as it is a bar mainly, but anyone under 21 is welcome till 10pm!

Looking to celebrate a birthday on fri...does it get very crowded on friday nights?

Oh yes. It's busy on most weeknights even. I'd look unto reserving something specific to be safe.

Do you guys have line dancing?

No lol

What time does brunch end?

Brunch is on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am until 3pm. Happy hour begins at 3!

Do you have gluten free options?

Somewhat, many options are gluten free but they do not have gluten free bread (you can do a corn tortilla)

Is this a kid friendly place?

We allow minors before 10pm, however we aren’t geared toward young kids.

What music is played? Is a dance floor still available?

Music is depending on the chosen playlist from the owner or employees, dance floor is not available

Can i watch the basket game here are there screens?

Yes, we have TV’s in the bar area and both game areas!

Do you have vegetarian entrees other than the veggie tacos?

Yes! Our nachos and elote are both vegetarian. We can make the Brussels sprouts, our dinner salads, our Mac and cheeses, and all of the burgers vegetarian too.

Service dogs allowed?

Yes, service dogs are allowed, and all dogs are welcome in our outside dining areas on a leash :)

Is there a children's menu?

And I'm not sure who's giant face is hanging on the ceiling but it's short a spark conversation. The menu here has a little something for everyone. There's the regular loaded fries and wings, salads, and a nice election burgers. We ordered the Philly Salad and the Very Summer Salad with a side order of fries. They make their own ranch, and it is good. I will say they don't seem to skim on salad ingredients either - - the Philly salad was covered with shaved beef, and my berry salad had a lot of chicken and tons of blue cheese. The fries were delicious - - slightly seasoned and crispy. This place is clearly dog friendly. In fact the day we went there was a sweet Pitbull named Daisy who literally hopped up on a bar stool and sat there like a little angel the entire time. The bar had a dog full of water that they sat down on the counter next to her owner's beer. They also have dog biscuits to give. It made my day to see that sweet little dog hanging at the bar having a treat. This really is kind of a spot that feels like it's probably the hangout spot of many people. Both items were good. I think for me, 4 stars seems right since there's an element of having to order at the bar and then come back up if anything is needed. Making it feel somewhat self service but I'm sure we tipped like full service. And at first we were trying to figure out the menu, where to order, and apparently we had a learning curve that night. Brains were tired. We sat outside with the misters at night. That was totally fine. It wasn't one of the nasty hot days.

The hallways do have that old motel smell to it, and they were fixing certain things in the hallways. It doesn't have a minibar or refrigerator and if you need ice, you'd have to get that at the bar. For the price I paid, it was worth it. If it is during peak season, then probably would not be worth it.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant / bar in Tempe. It literally has everything. Incredible food, awesome cocktails, a solid craft beer program with like 20 different beers on tap, and free games. They also make their own green tea shots with tea infused whiskey and fresh peaches for $5. And the best sangria in the valley for sure! As far as food goes, you have to try the nachos, the green chile mac and cheese with carnitas, and the wagyu burger! All are A++. Inside they have arcade style games and on their covered patio they have pool tables and ping pong. Really cool spot to grab drinks and just hang out if you're not hungry. The upstairs bar has a big projector screen and more of an elevated craft cocktail vibe. The courtyard is beautiful and super relaxing with big trees all around, fire pits, and the best part: hammock swings! Definitely give this place a shot if you're looking for something that's more than just a restaurant, and not a Mill Ave or Old Town Scottsdale bar. read more

We booked a morning meeting, lunch, and happy hour in the Rafter room and it was AMAZING. Not just the room, the service was way above bar and they were all so attentive. Even the food was tasty. We ordered a taco bar with chips and guac and a side of rice/beans. I would 100% order this again, as would most of our party. I booked/toured with Bailey(occasionally chatted with Angelina), Colbie was our server and helped us with setting up the tech, and Anthony was our bartender. What a great team, so fun to talk to and very helpful when asked. The booking process was seamless and anytime we needed to make a change they were very helpful in getting a new contract made before we signed it. I first heard about social hall on social media. I think I was on Facebook or possibly Instagram or twitter. So many people were talking about it so I told myself whenever I had an opportunity and some extra money I wanted to go try this place out. I was not disappointed when I finally did so. The food at this location is so delicious and so high quality. I wanted to tip the chef but they told me that was not customary at their location I figured writing is really good review was the best way for me to pay them so I took it a point to make sure I did so. Prolly a 3.5. This place was under my radar for a very long time. Heard all the stories and fun times from my friends. So, I threw a meetup with my colleagues at work. Ordered - Ace Ventura : shitty drink. Not worth the money. El chapo with veggie patty : tasted bad too. Waited for a long time and kinda disappointed me to the core. We had an event on the 1st floor for over 150ppl and it was an amazing experience. Everyone raved about the buffet and the selections offered...very tasty. Social Hall provided a list of entertainment and we went with a DJ who created the vibe we were looking for, for our group. The service from the team was spot on - we never ran out of food, the venue was clean and there was a great vibe tot he location with the games, outdoor seating and video games. Having the 2nd bar by the outside seating and stage was excellent. Would definitely keep this venue on our vendors list. read more

During Sat brunch. Staff was friendly, food was good. Had the biscuits and gravy which overall it was good but some of the biscuits were like rocks to eat. Price seems good overall, many things to do for fun and games inside and out. Photo booth worked yet you could t send the pictures or save them so we had to use our phone to take a picture of the picture from the photo booth, which defeats the purpose. Very cool environment! Amenities are great and complimentary; took me by surprise. If you're looking to have a really good night, Social Hall could get the job done. From having a nice laid-back time outside in hammocks to playing darts inside. The drinks are really good and the service is prompt and friendly. I've gone back six times in the last two months. We hosted our yearly Christmas bash in the Rafter room upstairs, and it was fantastic! The space was roomy enough for all our Christmas games, and our bartender, Nikki, was fantastic--friendly and knowledgeable. The food, especially the Prime Rib, was delicious, and we were thrilled with it. April, the manager, even checked in to ensure everything was going smoothly. This place is amazing!! The food is great. The drink prices are reasonable and we had a hockey team full of kids. They had a great time. The only unfortunate thing was another customer named Dave, who is a real snootful towards our kids. I'm pretty sure he can't have kids or something, but that's ok as I forgive him. This is such a fun place! I suggest making a reservation. We did not. We were sat upstairs and it was neat but not the atmosphere we were looking for. It was raining so we were not able to enjoy the patio. Next time we will go and enjoy the patio and all of the free games. This would be a great place with a group of friends. read more
