Very aesthetically pleasing! Dim lights can be cutsey for you and the girl or even a date the service was great very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu! The food was 4/5

Really enjoyed this meal, especially the burrata to start! All of the cocktails were really tasty! And I enjoyed the entrées as well. The scallops were seared very nicely. I will say the price point is a little high, but that Scottsdale for you. We sat inside. They have a lot of low tables, which isn't my favorite, but it was kind of nice vibe for the night. And then the patio looked really nice outside! Service was great especially the guys filling water were always coming around which was really nice.

I had dinner at 40 Love in Old Town Scottsdale and overall thought it was a decent experience. The space itself is really nice and definitely has a fun, upscale atmosphere. It is VERY dark inside though we actually had to use our phone flashlights just to read the menu, so keep that in mind. I really enjoyed the ambiance and especially the music they were playing. I also had the Love Potion cocktail, which was really good! It had a nice spicy kick to it and was probably one of my favorite parts of the night. One thing I found kind of funny is that for a place called 40 Love, I really didn't notice many tennis references at all. The decor felt much more like a jungle/Miami Vice aesthetic than a tennis-themed restaurant. Not necessarily a bad thing because the space is beautiful, but the name had me expecting more of a tennis theme. My biggest disappointment was that they were out of multiple things I specifically wanted to try. I wanted the pull-apart brioche bread AND the caviar, and they didn't have either available that night. That was pretty annoying, especially considering the prices here. If something is featured on the menu, I would expect it to actually be available, particularly at this price point. The food we did have was good, and we finished the night with dessert, which was enjoyable. Overall, I'd still recommend giving 40 Love a try for the atmosphere, cocktails, music and a fun night out in Old Town. Just know that it is on the pricier side, and hopefully when you visit they actually have everything listed on the menu!

Cute spot , definitely over priced for what it is but we still had a great time. Our waiter was awesome. I took a star away and honestly should take another one but they made it up with great service but it was 109 yesterday, when we walked into the restaurant for our evening reservation it was hot and just kept getting hotter. We ended up asking why it was so hot indoors, turns out their AC was broken, I'd think, they'd call people who had reservations to let them know that, this is Az in the dead of summer and we celebrated my friends birthday for 2 hours and 15 minutes melting. It was bad how hot it was inside. Minus the AC issue I'd give it a try again.

The establishment is beautifully decorated. I wish the dressed code was enforced because the shorts and flip flops devalues the restaurant. The DJ adds a nice vibe. The service is great. Our waiter checked on us multiple times as well as other staff members. They open at 5PM our dinner reservations were at 9PM. They ran out of Arancini Wagyu and meatballs. I ordered the Grilled Caesar. I don't want was grilled about it because there was no protein included and it was $18 for just lettuce. This was my second visit and I'm all set.

The ambulance was really nice. We were there at six 6 PM on a Thursday. There were only about three tables in the whole restaurant. Noticed that the service was really slow. For not having any customers in the restaurant. (no hostess or greeter at the front door, just employees taking turns, walking up there ) The ambience was nice. The food was good. But it was not great. Especially for that price point. We actually sent the brioche pull apart bread back. As working in food, my whole life. It seemed like it was steal or maybe from yesterday. The chef agreed and said it was just a bad batch from that day. (they also did not seem like brioche, they seem like doughballs that were put in a baking pan. we were literally in France 3 weeks ago ) Again. Everything was OK. But we would not go back. especially at that price point. Definitely letdown. Definitely do not follow influencers on TikTok. I believe they're just out for a free meal. And have no real opinion of good food and good service.

The ambiance is cute inside, very dimmed and spacious. I ordered two cocktails: midnight magic and an espresso martini. The midnight magic is very sweet - good enough for one drink. The espresso martini was super strong. For dinner, we ordered the Caesar salad and the ribeye. The salad was good and refreshing. The ribeye was grilled to perfection, however it was too much fat overall.

40 Love is one of the best new restaurants in Old Town Scottsdale! This restaurant replaced a very famous bar in the past and this concept is truly awesome. My wife and I came for a date night which was perfect for us and got a mix of steak, pasta, and appetizers which were all delicious. Many other restaurants appear to be the same in Scottsdale, but not 40 Love which stands out among a competitive list of date night restaurants to choose from. My only small critique is that the place is a bit smaller on the inside (patio is huge though), so I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time because the bar seating is also reservations only which is different than other places. If you want a restaurant with a creative menu and an intimate yet fun atmosphere, then I highly recommend this place!

Really wanted to like this place so bad. Heard about the hype andwe came during the late night menu on a Saturday night. I'd suggest coming another night if you want to try their food and receive good service. Had to waive down servers just to know we were here. Both bars were packed, tables were full, but server who was supposed to be in our area was no where to be found. Luckily Chris walked by us enough, and told us, he'd take care of us. We ordered drinks and food from the late night menu. Ratings for food below: WAGYU YAKINIKU SKEWERS 5/5 FRITES STREET CRINKLE CUT FRIES 4/5 CAVIAR WAFFLE STICKS 3/5

We went here on Friday night and overall had a really enjoyable experience. This is a newer restaurant, and you can tell they're still finding their rhythm--but the food was tasty, the drinks were delicious, and the space itself is absolutely beautiful. We did have an 8:15 reservation and weren't seated until about 8:35. I chose "standard seating," so that may have played a role, but we were seated in a smaller room away from the main dining area, which felt a bit removed from the atmosphere of the rest of the restaurant. Our server--Brendon (or a similar name)--was wonderful. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the night. We started with the caramelized meatballs, which were very good and full of flavor. That said, I didn't really get the caramelization described on the menu; they felt more like baked meatballs in sauce. Still tasty, just not quite what I expected based on the description. For our main dish, we shared the Snake River American Wagyu farm ribeye with two sides. The flavor of the steak was excellent, but it was much thinner than I expected for a ribeye cut. The preserved wild mushrooms were good--I loved the variety of textures and mushroom sizes--but I felt they could have used just a bit more seasoning. The red bliss potato mash, however, was delicious and something I would absolutely order again. Overall, we had a great night and I can't wait to come back, hopefully sit in the main dining area next time, and try some new dishes as the restaurant continues to settle in.

First restaurant of 2026 did NOT disappoint!!!! We loved it here, everything from the service to the food, incredible. As a fan of Niall Horan I heard about this place and checked it out. Think country club vibes, a lot of palm trees and palm frond decor. So cute. We came on a rare rainy night in Phoenix, but I'm sure if we were here during the day, the vibes would be even better. We each ordered cocktails, 10/10. We looked like cosmo and Wanda, said the server :) we started with meatballs and Cesar salad. Absolutely phenomenal. Would go back just for the appetizers. We had the 8oz filet mignon with the mashed potatoes and they were to die for. Sooooo good. Can't say enough good things about this place!!! Can't wait to go back.

Give me an LA vibe with a South Beach feel but in the middle of Scottsdale!!! Ladies and Gentleman... 40 Love has entered the chat! Great food, great customer service, great indoor and outdoor seating options. Great for date night, girls night, or even an intimate business dinner. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the cocktails were strong and well crafted, and our waiter Isaac was knowledgeable and prompt. Give this place a try, you won't regret it!

I have been wanting to try this place since it opened and finally had the opportunity. It was easy to make a reservation and I love the location. The hostess greeted me promptly as well as the gentleman on the outside (he was very nice). I was seated pretty quickly (I was on time). It was two of us and mt friend was outside on a call but the original table I was seated at felt like a kids table lol so it was nice that the waitress noticed without me saying anything and moved me to a nice booth. The space is beautiful, the music was IT! I pretty much knew all the songs being played. Our server Christina was really nice and provided great recommendations. I like the simple menu and I ordered the seabass and the wedge salad (chopped). The salad was soooooo good lol I would go back just for the salad and the sea bass had a nice flavor. I love the vibe of this place and it seems like it was turning into a lounge after awhile. I would def come back for drinks with friends.

What we didn't realize at the time was that we had stumbled upon one of those dishes that would stick with us! So when Liquor Pig closed, we were genuinely sad to see it go, but then delighted to learn that the same chef was spearheading Wayward and, most importantly, that the legendary bone marrow poutine made its way onto the new menu. And thankfully, it's still just as memorable! The bone marrow is incredibly luscious, rich, and decadent, and the whole dish is the perfect indulgent pairing for Wayward's creative cocktails. The portion is also a great size for two people to share, especially since it's definitely a rich dish. We also tried the Jaew Chicken which was tasty and definitely a little different from what I'd normally order. It was a nice addition to the meal, but honestly, the poutine is the reason we'll keep coming back to this place! While walking through the restaurant, I noticed quite a few tables enjoying the bone in short rib taco board and those portions are serious. That platter could easily feed four people, so it's definitely something to keep in mind if you're dining with a group. All in all, I'm happy that Wayward has kept one of my favorite dishes from the Liquor Pig days alive. If you're looking for creative cocktails with something rich and indulgent to snack on, do yourself a favor and order the bone marrow poutine!

Now I realize that the 2026 was a Summer Olympics and Curling is part of the Winter Olympics, but we didn't care Upon entry to go to the host stand and tell them what you're looking to do (activities vs bar/waiting). The space is relatively open and you can immediately see the fully stocked bar, the bowling area, the back axe throwing lanes, and the enclosed curling lanes. We opted for a package that got us unlimited games (any) for an hour. We started with curling and we didn't need any special clothes or shoes. We were lead to a lane and it's set up like shuffleboard (you can stand on either side and there's two separate color stones). There's ice where you glide your stones and you stand on rubber for traction. You can glide by hand or use a piece of equipment that is essentially a stick to help push and guide your stone. There's an attendant on duty to help any stones that are stuck or that don't make it down the lane The experience was awesome. We've always wanted to try curling, but it's difficult to find somewhere that is set up to let you do that. We were amazed that we finally tried it in a desert of all places. There are no brushes like in typical curling, but you still get a sense of the Olympic activity. The bowling was fun too, but it's a smaller version like you might see in some novelty bars. Axe throwing was that of typical ax throwing. You had a couple different sizes of axes, there's lanes and you throw at a wooden target. They had computers to input your name and keep track of points. It was sometimes difficult to stick the wooden target, but it was fun We didn't try the food or drink, but everything looked good. The staff were very helpful. It was a weekend, and it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Overall it was a fun experience Some tips: If your stones seem to be getting stuck down the lane, ask the attendant to move you to another lane. That's what we did and it made all the difference Explore the rest of bustling Old Town Scottsdale. Let me start off by saying my first 2 visits were not the best. In fact, This place was sitting on a 3 star rating for a while, but my last visit picked up and made up a little. I waited to wrote this review in hopes that they would redeem themselves from my first 2 visits. The first time I came, I had Lemon Pepper Wings which came to me after a very long wait. When I finally got them, they were basically naked wings, like without any seasoning. I asked for the seasoning and one of the bussers came and brought me a cup of it. I sprinkled the wings with it but when I took a bite, they were SALTY AF!!!!! I then had to shake off all the seasoning to be able to finish them. SMH. I also ordered some Sweet Potato Fries which oddly came to me within about 3 minutes. I almost finished them before I finally got the wings. I was seated at the bar and since it was packed, I sat in the only open seat which happened to be between 2 gentlemen. The guy to my left was ready to go and when he asked for his bill, they had charged him for my stuff. Super weird because we clearly weren't together and I wasn't even talking to him the entire time. He kindly alerted them and they adjusted his bill. My second visit the next day wasn't any better. Went in with 2 coworkers for $1 oysters and Happy Hour. We ordered some cocktails which took forever again, and when we asked about them, we were told they didn't have the blended margaritas ready, so she offered us on the rocks instead. We said okay since we were thirsty on a Thursday. We tasted each other's drink and they tasted exactly the same, even though we ordered different ones. I also ordered a 2nd round of 6 oysters for myself which I never got. I had to let our server know that I never got them, so she took them off the bill. Our server wasn't very friendly and she just looked like she wanted to leave. My 3rd and latest visit is when I had the Tomahawk. My friend and I started off with oysters, then ordered their huge Tomahawk, which came with a variety of sauces and a side of French Fries. This time, we came in a little later, around 730 pm or so. It wasn't as busy, so maybe that's the perfect time to go. Service was great that last time, and our drinks were perfect. Overall, it's a cool place and the decor is pretty gnarly, but I feel like they do need to work out some kinks. Prices are average but Happy Hour is where it's at. The Tomahawk special is $99 on Mondays and Tuesdays I believe, and they come with 2 large sides (we went on a Thursday so we didn't get that special). The last visit brought up my 3 stars to a 4. I'll come again, but I hope they stay consistent!
