I'm starting to really become partial to Growler Country. They're known for serving craft beers but…read morethey definitely offer more than just ales and IPAs. I wasn't able to indulge in anything on my first visit during the summer because I was working out and my diet didn't allow beer or pretty much anything on their menu. A co-worker of mine told me a few months ago that they have a Taco Thursday where they serve $1 and $2 tacos so I made it imperative to get down and dirty with the food AND alcohol on my second appearance. I started off with the regular pork taco and their Cajun chicken taco. Both were terrific but I was smitten with the Cajun chicken. On the next go 'round, I tried the fiesta taco and had another Cajun chicken. I also decided to try the Buffalo Mac which is mac and cheese with two different cheeses, three if you include the blue cheese crumbles, buffalo chicken and bacon. Their food was so satisfying, it made me want to be gluttonous and order like two or three more items! I can not WAIT to visit them again which may be soon because I found out they also have .75 wings on Wednesday. Beer. Wings. Tacos. There is no way you can go wrong at Growler Country.

They offer a very unique selection of beers and they have beer flights which allows you the opportunity to try 4 different selections. The nachos were good and you have the option to choose to have them topped with pork or chicken. I also had the Macdaddy which is a hotdog topped with mac and cheese. Great place to come for food and drinks, can't wait to come back and try some of their other beers.

The host was so excited and when a restaurant asks that you expect something fun for the graduation but nothing happened. Not a fun dessert, a fun plate with writing, a card, nothing. Highly disappointed fora white tablecloth restaurant. I would not recommend coming to celebrate here for that reason alone. Drinks took a while to come out. We were on the patio and our server was all over the place due to the table next to us being rude and picky to him. Delicious food though! My first time here even though I lived in Tallahassee for 4 years. The cornbread that was with the burnt ends... the best cornbread I've had in my life. Incredible. The barrington (ribs with corn) was delicious as well. Overall great food, okay atmosphere, okay service.

There we met Brandi who would take exceptional care of us. We started with the warm brie topped with honeycomb, praline pieces, fresh fruit and a macerated fruit drizzle, accompanied by toasted pita triangles. We shared an 850 salad to accompany original eggs benedict and the shrimp lo boy boil alongside of a perfectly seasoned Bloody Mary. Unable to finish our meals, Brandi accommodated us with to go containers so that we didn't miss a morsel. Can't wait to go back to enjoy another getaway at the Blu Halo... a glimpse of California Wine Country on the edge of Tallahassee.
