I'm not well versed in the world of antiques as far as what something's worth or value is. Therefore, I'm not sure if the prices are any better or worse compared to similar inventory at other stores. That said, an old Schaffer beer tin sign for $85 seemed a bit steep. It is fun to walk around and look at all the old stuff. You just might come across that perfect "thing".

When I asked if you accepted credit cards, I was told the card would have to be verified by contacting the credit card company. I asked if this was done for everyone, and I was told yes. However, after reading other reviews and the owner's responses, it seems different customers are given different explanations of the verification process, which makes the policy seem inconsistent. Honestly, I only bought a $5 pair of earrings with cash, but I had planned on coming back to shop for more. Instead, I left wondering: at what purchase amount does this verification happen? Is it for every credit card transaction, or only certain customers? I wasn't expecting a simple question about payment methods to turn into a discussion about verifying my identity. The whole interaction left me feeling unwelcome, and I hope whatever policy is in place is applied consistently to every customer.

She called my wife back and inform her that a check might be ready to pick up but she needs to call after 1pm before she gets there. My wife asked the name of the owner of the business. Araceli told her that "it doesn't matter" and refused to disclose the name. We will update this post to let all know if we received the check or not. They refuse to provide proof of what the item sold for it for.

This woman seemed to be in her mid to late 20s with dark brown straight hair and was ridiculously rude to us the entire time we were present. We were looking for some unique pieces to furnish our new house, and she met us with sarcasm, eye rolling, and a ridiculous attitude while we were nothing but kind and respectful. She was on her phone the entire time and ensured that we felt like a burden during our time in the store. This shop located on Newport Ave., has been here since 1995, however it was my first visit after leaving the sourdough shop across the street. Limited street parking. I've walked pass this shop many times, but today what caught my attention were the vignettes of Christmas decor. I enjoyed strolling through many different decor all unique and some captured the french flair. While there's some vintage antique furniture collection, I wasn't really interested in going over their inventory, perhaps another time and when I can walk through isles and see more details. But then they had plenty of other pieces of beautiful furniture and saw this credenza we also needed for the place. Jorge was not pushy and gave us some time to think about it. Jorge was really responsive to any other questions we had even after visiting the shop over text. They do offer delivery service as well and that was coordinated smoothly and on time. I highly recommend swinging by this place for furniture or decor (plenty of artwork). They do have an Instagram account too and you could ask them about any of the pieces you see on the account.
