As always Tomasino's is the pizza place to live and to never disappoint. With its always fresh food and great service (be prepared to wait a bit as everything is made fresh to order). To it's small Italian seating to make you feel like la familia. This time around we got some new stuff which is what this review is really for. First off we got the Garlicky cheese knots which you get for free for signing up as a rewards member. And they did not disappoint from the garlic flavor to the covering of melted mozzarella on top. Then came the pie which was the new Hothead Spicy Calabria Pie which contained Calabrian chili paste base, mozzarella, spots of ricotta and bites of crispy breaded chicken. And man was my mouth on fire in a good way with flavor and chili. Normally we get the butcher but this gave that a run for it's money. Definitely check it out and Tomasino's.

Server was Christiana. She was great. Got 2 Calzones. Amazing. The chef checked table. Can't wait to go back. Yum and yum. .

While there's literally dozens of places to get pizza within a few miles of Mills50, Tomasino's is my favorite go-to spot. I just Love them. Sure, they can be a little bit more but you also get a little bit more. The quality tastes better. I'm also a big fan of their salads, gotta keep it healthy, and am usually very happy with their knots, especially when paired up with meatballs and extra sauce and, and :)

This is the place to go if you have a family to feed. $30 for the fattest pizza ive evere seen. We ordered the mechanic which is basically their version of a supreme pizza. Really packed a punch with their flavor. The service was nice and easy going and they wore themed outfits. Well themed with the old time style, new York pizza experience. Fantastic.

Loved the mama moozarell pizza and I'm a New Yorker. It had a sweetness that wasn't expected but amazing.

Bianca Pizza aka white pizza
Matt T.

Five stars for consistent flavor and my favorite pizza joint in orlando! The inside is very small so if they are busy you will wait awhile but I've only had one time where service was horrendous but I always give another shot and hasn't happened again. My go to is the white pizza aka Bianca and add bacon. It's delicious every time. Just the right amount of garlic, cheese, and other spices.

A bit of a whole-in-the-wall, was looking for good pizza in the area and this came up. Ordered takeout online, the menu is fun & attention grabbing. There's a handful of tables inside to dine-in. Delicious pizza and the garlicky cheesy knots were amazing!

Still 5 stars since I can't bump it up another notch. They have their staples like Chicken Parm, Lasagna, Bolognese, Shrimp Fry Diavolo, Puttanesca , Piccata, Gnocchi, and a variety of delicious pizzas and appetizers. There are too many to name. This restaurant can stand on their own with their standards. Where they stand out is with their specials. The chef here is always innovating and trying some new dishes. I wish I could get a notification of what's on the menu each night. I've had some amazing surprises with the taste and presentation of these dishes. And when they have wedding soup (Christmas time), I definitely make sure I go. I feel like part of the family when I go here. They always recognize us and some of the staff even resembles member of my extended Italian family. They cook better than my Italian grandma (shhhh, don't tell her). They also just opened a sister restaurant (Amalfi) down the block so they're taking over Avalon Park! I've been here a lot and plan on going a lot more. Some of the best Italian food in Orlando! ALL the pasta is made fresh and it shows!!!! Great selection of choices - our table ordered from the special menu that came with multiple courses. Starting out with the truffle honey bruschetta- let me say this is worth trying!!! So much flavor packed on a delicious piece of Italian bread. The purple sweet potato gnocchi is amazing! Just a burst of great flavors and creamy/cheese sauce. The green cappellacci pasta dish was delicious and a nice touch of arugula in the middle. The limoncello cake was decadent! They were running a special that allowed us to try several menu items, and most of them were fantastic. The burrata and pasta dishes were standouts. I especially loved the truffle ravioli, purple gnocchi, and lasagna. The mushroom pasta was just okay for me--the pasta itself was thicker than I prefer and a bit too al dente. The desserts were incredible. We tried both the tiramisu and the limoncello cake, and they were easily some of the highlights of the meal. My only complaint from that visit was the coffee service. I was charged extra to make my coffee decaf, which surprised me, and when I asked for cream, I was told they only had steamed milk--which was also an upcharge. It felt like a lot of added cost and complication just to get a simple decaf coffee with cream and sugar, something that's typically included at most restaurants. Second Visit: After a hot day by the pool, I ordered their lemon drink, and it was absolutely delicious--refreshing enough that I'm already trying to figure out how to recreate it for an upcoming bachelorette weekend. I ordered the purple gnocchi again, and it was just as excellent as I remembered. My husband had the lamb, and I ordered the Beef Wellington. The lamb was delicious, though some of the pasta served alongside it was undercooked in a few bites. The Beef Wellington was the biggest disappointment of the evening. The filet itself was cooked perfectly, but the pastry lacked the rich flavor and depth that make a classic Wellington so memorable. We were seated in the back hallway section of the restaurant, which could use a little attention aesthetically. Some updated decor, wallpaper, artwork, or softer window treatments would go a long way. The rest of the restaurant has a lovely ambiance, but this area felt overlooked. Combined with a server who wasn't particularly attentive and the physical distance from the main dining area, it made the experience feel less special than you'd hope for during an expensive date night. We also ordered the same dessert we'd had on our first visit and noticed the portion size was significantly smaller. Lastly, I ordered a Caesar salad and was surprised to find what tasted like bottled dressing and boxed croutons. At a restaurant that clearly puts care into making its own pasta, those details stood out in a disappointing way. Orlando has no shortage of excellent Italian restaurants, and it's often the small touches that separate a good meal from a truly memorable one. Overall, there is a lot to like here. Some dishes are genuinely outstanding, and there are menu items I'd happily return for. But when you're spending hundreds of dollars on a meal, consistency matters--from the ingredients and preparation to the atmosphere and service. Luxury is often found in the details, and tightening up those details would elevate the experience considerably.

I think sometimes that the lack of service has kept me from eating out much, and then I go to Christinis where the service is too-notch. Great service can make lackluster food taste better but Christinis doesn't have to worry there. Their food is too notch as well. It is old world attentive service, and you can't help but feel special when you go there. Our server this evening was Atilla (sp?) and he has a commanding presence and keeps a close eye on things in an unobtrusive way. It was my birthday and they treated me very well. Okay, let's get to the food. Bread service before the meal was excellent. The bread came with an eggplant sauce that was excellent. They offer butter and olive oil but I say to forego that, and just have the eggplant sauce/dip. We both had the shrimp cocktail, which wasn't the plan. But the shrimp were so large and we hadn't had a shrimp cocktail in a long time, and boy was it good. The shrimp was fresh and as mentioned, very large. We then had a Caesar salad which was good. The cheese was good, but I was surprised that there were no anchovies. We like classic Caesar with anchovies, but the salad was good nonetheless. We split a small portion of the fagottini pasta with pear and Gorgonzola cream sauce. It was the absolute best. It sounds like an odd flavor combo but it works. We both had the veal (their specialty) hubby had the veal picatta. I had the Marsala. Both very good. It came with a polenta fritter that was good, I'm not sure what was inside, it had a nice flavor, maybe pimentos? Even though tiramisu or crème brûlée is usually my go to if having dessert, we went for cannolis for a "lighter" option. Very good as well. The last one the list is ambiance. Beautiful tables, classy elegant restaurant, and tuxedoed waitstaff. Excellent!

This was my first time at Tratto and I already have made plans to return. My plans include trying another new-to-me pizza combination but no promises. I might get the pesto and mortadella on repeat for the foreseeable future. The pizzas can be ordered in Thin crust or Detroit style. I ordered my pizza as thin crust which was exceptional and my dining partner ordered a Detroit style with pepperoni and thoroughly enjoyed it. Now...the Detroit-style pizza?? Where has this been all my life? We got the Spicy Pepperoni and I'm still thinking about it. The combo of crispy edges, fluffy crust, hot honey, and goat cheese was unreal. At this point, I feel like I need to book a trip to Detroit just to compare lol. We also tried the cheese wheel pasta--flavor-wise it was just okay for me, but the tableside presentation was definitely the highlight. It's one of those dishes you order more for the experience than the taste. Paired everything with a bottle of prosecco, which made the whole night feel a little extra and very much needed. And shoutout to Zack--he was a great waiter. Attentive, friendly, and really helped make the experience smooth from start to finish. Overall, great vibes, solid food, and a fun dining experience. I went when they first opened and remembered really enjoying it, but I have not been back for lunch. It was pretty quiet during that time. I ordered one of their zero proof mocktails, the 00 Spritz, which was light and refreshing. We decided to share a couple menu items including the beef carpaccio and the garlic knot sliders with pesto chicken parm. Prior to ordering, my colleague had asked our server about another menu item and the type of meat that was in the sauce because she cannot eat pork. It was clear that he was not very sure. For it not being very busy and most people dining in were on a lunch break, the food took quite a while to come out. We received the carpaccio first - it was very tasty and we both enjoyed it. When we received the garlic knot sliders, they looked amazing. It comes with 3 sliders and a side of fries. Once we began eating the sliders, my friend noticed that there was crispy prosciutto (aka pork) on them. This was not listed on the menu or mentioned by our server. Many people don't eat pork (for personal or religious reasons), so that ingredient really should be disclosed on the menu. Our server was apologetic and mentioned that they had just updated their menu so this must have been an oversight. Sadly, my friend did not have enough time left in her lunch break at this point to wait for something else to come out. I personally did enjoy the sliders and took the leftovers home. I also ordered the cacio e pepe pizza to-go to have for dinner later, and it was also very good. Besides that hiccup, overall the food was good and I would go back to try more menu items.
