Yes, this place amuses me. And when hunger pangs kick in after a few attempts a light eating, I knew a calzone was in order to quell my craving for something delicious and filling. And after searching Uber Eats for Calzones, I settled on Goodfellas since I had it before and it was a reasonable price... even for delivery. I like my calzones simple... ricotta, mozzerella and on meat, usually ham or meatballs. If you get too many toppings (insidings?), then they tend to skimp on the cheese so they can pack it in there like Han Solo stuffing Luke into a Taun Taun (especially if you pick pepperoni which just makes is soooooo greasy) They have one of the best Calzone's in town and I have no idea what a large would entail, other than a trip to the hospital. The small is a good value. This would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the super duper small portion of wedding soup. What Italian in their right mind would give a guest such a small portion? It was good, but small. And had ditalini instead of acini di pepe. C'mon man!!!! They do have dining in the restaurant which is always better than getting it to go, but the convenience of ordering and still having it be delicious is a plus! read more

We expect to pay a premium price for a premium product, however, the service and quality have gone downhill while the price has gone through the roof. We ordered garlic knots, antipasto, and a pepperoni pizza. It's been the same order for over twenty years. Garlic Knots The garlic knots never arrived, which of course ruined the meal because you can't start eating the rest of it without eating the garlic knots first. The garlic knots arrived twenty minutes later and of course the pizza got cold and had to be reheated. When the garlic knots arrived, they were in a brown paper bag that was absolutely covered in garlic oil. The garlic knots, however were not covered in yummy garlic oil, because it all leaked out, that was fun cleaning up. We got two regular size garlic knots, two small garlic rolls (not knots), and two garlic hush puppies. They were cold and dry. I of course got stuck with the two garlic hush puppies, which I was not happy about. Antipasto The salad was fine. But we don't order Goodfellas for the salad. Pepperoni pizza This pizza was way off. Just look at the picture. Some slices were covered in pepperoni, some were not. Some slices were mostly crust, seriously 30% of the surface area had no sauce or cheese. I ended up getting one slice that literally had three half pieces of pepperoni on it, so 1.5 slices of pepperoni total. The other slice that I ended up with was mostly crust. And of course we had to take turns using the Ninja Oven to heat our slices up because of the Garlic Knot delay. This place has gone totally downhill and their website had no email address or comment form, so they must not care anymore. Not good. read more

Family Owned Business. This hidden gem is one of my favorite places in orlando. The Ambiance is like the old time movies for sure. They are always playing Frank Sinatra and more classic hits! Updated: March 1,2026. I decided to give the restaurant another try to see if they had improved with service and their pizza. To my surprise I was very impressed and happy that it was a few years I was there and their pizza and service were excellent. The young waiter was very kind and polite and professional. To my surprise, I was able to see the original owner Pam after so many years. Her kindness and hospitality were outstanding. We talked about the old days when they opened and how I always came by to have their outstanding pizza and how my brother and sister in law were there every Friday for pizza. My sons and grandchildren and family were all happy with the pizza and extra order and pasta, chicken parmesan, etc. It was a pleasure to come back and try their pizza again. I take this time to thank the waiter, Pam and the staff. That is why I changed the rating to 5. My prior rating over 3 yrs ago was 1. We used uber eats so I have nothing to say on the service or ambiance. We ordered a Caesar's salad and a vegetarian pizza. I asked for light sauce and several veggies. When the pizza arrived I was so surprised to find not only so much sauce on the pizza but then what seemed like large scoops of sauce on top of the pizza. It was the strangest thing. The crust was also so soggy it was only abt 2 inches from the top the cd b held. We each took two pieces and scooped off as much sauce as we cd and ate what we cd. The entire bottom of the box was wet from getting soggy. If we weren't hungry we never wd have eaten any of it. Pizza is usually a safe go to even if it's not great, but this truly was the worst experience I've ever had w ordering a pizza. We are from out of town and were heading to a show so we didn't have time to call and complain however I really feel this had to either be a horrible prank (at our expense) OR a disgruntled employee trying to hurt the company. I have always had a good experience anytime I come to Good Fellas. I love their authentic New York style pizza. I always get the cheese or the white sauce pizza. I've been going here for years and easily my favorite Italian restaurant. Pizza is great, Stromboli fantastic (the small is almost too much to eat), and they have the best garlic knots. The stuffed pizza is a very filling and tasty option if you like a lot of meat and cheese. Even the side salads are very good and I'm not a big salad eater. The service is usually pretty good but at times they do get very busy and the servers seem overloaded. Nice to sphere as it feels just like what it is - a cozy local restaurant. Prices are reasonable and the portions large. The only problem is they have so many good things it's hard to decide on what to eat. read more

I always thought so highly of this spot and constantly recommended it- as you can see from my previous review. I will preface that I have only ever gotten delivery from there so today is no different. Every single item was wildly disappointing today. We ordered the sausage and peppers sub, large cheese pizza, and Goodfellas combination sub (the biggest disappointment of all). The sausage and peppers were just okay- light on all ingredients, barely any peppers and onions, and not worth the $11 price tag. The pizza arrived mucked up, soggy, and under seasoned. Not too much to say since it's delivery, but it's never looked or tasted like this before. As for the combo sub, I'm just angry. Each meat was a sad single layer that barely covered the bread. The onions were sliced with the care of someone balancing on one foot on a skateboard while singing the national anthem. $13 for something my nephew could have slung together with more aplomb. Now I wasn't expecting the glorious mountain of meat and toppings that you find on a $16 Stasio sub, but for a few bucks less, I definitely expected more. My husband's comment really connected for me. "Who puts this meal together and actually thinks, damnnnn, that's a meal right there?" Very happy that Goodfella's is now open on Mondays again. We revisited since Monday is 'our day' for lunch and we both ended up ordering the 2 slice/salad lunch special. On my 2 slices i asked for mushrooms and fresh garlic to be added and my lunch partner asked for sausage and mushrooms. Ceasar salads arrived and while simple, they were very good. One hope would be that they would you a shredded or shaved parm on the salad, but the grated was fine. The slices showed up exactly as ordered and they were honestly phenomenal. To say we 'enjoyed' them is an understatement. The crust had a very nice crispness to it and the flavor was great. Service was very good - almost TOO good. I don't remember his name, but the main server has been around for a while and the new trainee that had just started that day made sure we wanted for nothing. My only surprise, and somewhat disappointment, was that when we received our bill we were both charged .75 cents per topping per piece - so an added $3.00 for each of us. I could understand if it were an entire smaller pizza, but $3 for a lunch special of 2 slices is a bit high. Was expecting .75 per topping for both pieces. Anyway, not a show stopper, but was just a little flag. In summary, overall great lunch - great food and great service to the point that we will be revisiting much more often. read more

Went to Goodfella's yesterday and will not be coming back. We were never served! We were sat down in an empty area of the dining room, as booths were full, and we were given menus. That was the extent of our experience. When waiters kept walking past our table for about 10 minutes, we thought they were playing a little joke on us. Families began to fill the tables surrounding us and we were astonished when wait staff attended them, giving them drinks, taking orders, and even giving them their meals. After 15 minutes, we tried finding the wait staff in the dining area but they would just zip around corners before we could get to them. We were in the dining room for over 20 minutes before we gave up and left. I had heard good things about Goodfella's in the past, but I am simply turned off at the idea of giving them a try. read more

I used to eat here as a college student while attending UCF and I'm so happy to see after a decade it looks and feels the exact same. Including the pizza (most importantly). If you're looking for NY style thin crust, Goodfellas should be at the top of your list. Anywhere that smells like garlic as soon as you walk in is my kind of place. Been many many many times now. They definitely have the best pizza in east Orlando. Chicken parm (entree and sub) are excellent. All the chicken and pasta entrees are very good and huge. Mozzarella sticks are prefect. Their red sauce is definitely homemade and not from a can. All the subs are huge and filling. Baked pasta dishes are also very good. Soups are fresh. An excellent Italian place close by the UCF / Waterford area. They are off the beaten path of the normal Waterford offerings, and sometimes this means that they are overlooked, which is totally a loss for foodies! I've been here a few dozen times over the past 10+ years and it's never disappointed. I love their pasta and their pizza. They do lunch specials all week long - even on the weekend! The most recent trip we had a larger group of people getting together, and we the experience didn't feel any different. Annabelle was excellent, loved her as a server, very friendly and welcoming. The table was a bit scrunched, but it wasn't a huge deal overall. They do bring a lot of plates for the different courses, so it can get crammed quickly, but they stay on top of keeping the table cleaned off, so it works out. I did the Chicken Anotonio for lunch and it was a perfect angel hair sauce with mushrooms and topped with chicken. Definitely a generous portion for the lunch offering! They have adult beverages if you are so inclined and the standard Italian style desserts if you have room! Overall: A+ Excellent, sometimes overlooked, Italian spot not far from Waterford.
