I got delivery last night it came on time I ordered a blt, a buff chick sandwhich French fries and onion rings . Each thing was absolutely disgusting they clearly don't clean their oil and I'm not sure if the onion rings were actually real the whole order was a sloppy mess theses are things a child could make correctly so clearly there is no pride in the product they put out and will probably kill someone one day. I was sick after trying one bite of each thing it was the worst sub slash pizza shop I have ever eaten at and I have probably eating at thousands over my life I would never ever eat here I spent 40 dollars on a pile of grease and garbage read more

I love a Sofia's salad. They have a large selection of salads with combinations I haven't really seen much place else. I generally get the same mesclun salad with avocados, grilled chicken, goat cheese, and walnuts. I live in Revere, but when I am in the area i order from here. I have tried a few of their paninis too which are good just not as great as the salads. Now, i know i sound like this should be a 5-star review but service is inconsistent. For a while during the pandemic i would order and the food would be stale or meat chewy and flavorless. That was fixed when more businesses opened up but other times it really is a coin toss with them. Some times key items are missing from the orders like avocado on an avocado salad, or a drink in an order that included one. I shouldn't feel like I have to open the order up in the store to confirm everything I ordered is in there. I saw some negative reviews and I completely disagreed. So I felt eager to offer my own review. I've been going to Sofia's Pizza house off and on for the past 4 years since I moved to Boston (26 yo male). I've had most selections on the menu at some point, both delivery and in house and I don't have any complaints. The food has been amazing every time and the serving size is quite a lot - you will have lunch for the next day. Some of my favorites: 1. The salads don't mess around, they are quite impressive. My gf got them every time and she always had lunch for the next two days. 2. Buffalo chicken quesadilla. Amazing. 3. Chicken alfredo (or any of the pasta dishes). Amazing. I will actually be getting that tomorrow when I go back. The mac and cheese bites (if they still have them) are very good. The BLT a friend of mine got, huge sandwich, real good bacon. Very much worth it. Pizza's are good too, I usually get Domino's but that's just me. Those just off the top of my head. I've never had a problem with service or delivery, but I love eating there. And I honestly have no idea what anyone else has to complain about. If your wrap falls apart or you don't like what the pizza/cheese fries look like (based on recent reviews that I see), just ask the owner to fix it. I am pretty the owner is always working in the kitchen. He seems like a pretty nice guy, I am sure he will be helpful. Anyways, I moved North of Boston and I still go back to Quincy for Sofia's Pizza house. I hope that helps. read more

Believe it or not finding a good pizza place is still hard to come by these days. Like a good yelper I always do my research and read lots of reviews before picking a new place , I was feeling delivery but since its place is so close to me I decided to call it in for pickup. I ended up ordering half a specialty half Hawaiian and the person who picked the phone was friendly and said 20 minutes. I always give extra time but today I decided to show up on time and the pizza was ready , this place is located right off of billing street so parking is limited but I found a space right in front. The man at the counter was very helpful and friendly and got my pizza for me as soon as I walked in , I made sure to tell him it was my first time here and he promised me I would be back again. Well after looking at the pizza and trying it I can say I will definitely be back. What I like most about this pizza is they are not afraid to put toppings on a pizza which I have been experiencing Lately from other pizza places.The pizza was not greasy and full of flavor and I am a happy camper. read more

So ordered from them a second time today... 2 stars for speed and great customer service on the driver's part, got my order in less than 20 min. Big problem today was the food was very poor quality. I got the supreme calzone ... (pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onion, peppers, and cheese). It was really greasy and heavy. There is a point where the is too much filling in the calzone so that it makes it sag really bad and hard to pick up. Worst problem is that the tomato dipping sauce was bad. The little plastic cup looked weird at first, like it was bulging a little, I figured maybe it's a little over full... so I opened the top and it kind of exploded and let out a little pop. It smelled like rotten tomatoes... and there was mold on the inside of the cover. Just chucked it and the slice of calzone that it splashed onto. Was let down the first time ordering because my vegetarian wrap/roll up had bean sprouts that were brown, slimey, and tasted like actual garbage. I decided months later to give it a second shot, ordered the avocado and brie wrap, and a tuna wrap with lettuce and onions. I am really disappointed! We have received delivery 3 or 4 times now and the food is always good. However, last night we had company and we tried to make a delivery order and was told that they were too busy and could not accommodate us. Convenient, quick delivery, consistent food. This place has been my go to delivery place since I moved to north Quincy. I really am only able to base my reviews off of the salads I have ordered from them, but they never fail. The salads are always fresh, nice pieces of grilled chicken, and incredibly inexpensive. Went here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean and the prices were very reasonable considering how much food you get. I ordered a Granny Smith Apple, Cranberry & Walnut Salad and it was delicious; everything was freshly made. I was also pleasantly surprised that it came with pita bread and oil to dip in on the side. The car that delivered my order was for Renaissance Restaurant which is at the same restaurant. I have ordered from Renaissance and was not impressed. My chicken parmesan dinner was barely edible. The chicken was over cooked. It was mostly overdone breading actually with very little chicken. The sauce and pasta was OK but not better than jar sauce and any store bought pasta. I have been a loyal customer to Sofia's for a couple years now. Getting take out roughly 2 to 3 times a week. The food has for the most part been decent....however recently they have messed up something with our order almost every time, often during delivery so we don't notice until after the driver is gone. I have called to complain. Today I walked in and ordered a 20 piece buffalo wings and paid by debit (didn't look at my receipt)....as I was walking out I noticed that the take out bag felt light so I looked in to find a 10 piece instead.....I checked my receipt at this point and noticed that they overcharged me by $2 for a 10 piece. I walked back in to complain and possibly wait and get my full order and was greeted with attitude from the older woman who stated "We can change our prices whenever we want, thats what it says down the bottom of the menu".....My reply was "that's fine and all but you should at least make that clear when someone is ordering if the price is higher...also....I ordered 20 not 10". She ignored that part and just repeated that they can change the price whenever they want without posting it. So I asked for a full refund and noted that I wouldn't be returning to which she smiled smugly and said "That's ok we get new customers all the time" Classy. Great attitude. Ive lived all over Boston (i.e. Allston, Brighton, South Boston, Cambridge), and Sophia's may be the best delivery food I have had. The delivery time is fast. The food is plentiful and delicious. The Chicken Parm Sophia was absolutely one of the best sandwiches I have tasted. There was tons of chicken and bacon in it. I also ordered the Chix Salad (on top of a Garden Salad). It was packed with all white meat chicken salad and mounds full of veggies. Overall...the perfect delivery food for subs and sandwiches and a lot of bang for your buck. read more

Not impressed at all. Ordered cheese fries with bacon and cheese. First the bacon was maple bacon (gross) secondly they only put toppings on the very top of the fries, so most fries had no cheese or bacon, in fact most bacon was clumped together on 2 fries. I figured because of the price they would.be really good, nope. I Also ordered the Chicken Florentine which is suppose to be in a garlic cream sauce but it is a tomato based cream sauce with no garlic and the pasta was overcooked.
