I recently visited Sofia's Pizza and unfortunately had a pretty disappointing experience. The food itself tastes fine -- no major complaints there -- but the customer service and pricing are major issues. The man working there was extremely rude and came off as easily offended by very neutral, simple questions. Instead of responding professionally, he reacted emotionally and defensively, which made the interaction uncomfortable. As a paying customer, I expect basic courtesy and respect, not attitude. On top of that, the pricing feels unreasonable. The Sofia's Pizza location on S. Eastern charges about $11 less for ordering the exact same food. That kind of price difference for the same items is ridiculous and hard to justify. It feels like prices keep going up without any real explanation or added value. Overall, while the food is decent, the poor customer service and inconsistent pricing make it hard to recommend this location. read more

My boyfriend and I did a quick visit on the way to a work event. We got a single slice to share which the manager cut in half for us so it was easier to share. It's a small place but everything was good! I needed a little bit more seasoning on the pizza itself but otherwise it was a great experience. $5 for a giant slice and a soda can't be beat! Walked back to where I stay a five min walk , from The outside the pizza looked cooked and the bottom of the pizza was cooked ! Took a bite wasn't cooked I could taste the dough ! Called the lady who took my order to inform Her about the pizza she said bring the pizza back I bring it back ! I believe it's her husband who makes the pizzas in the back he was completely rude yelling at me when I got there cussing ! Saying this pizza was cooked I was polite but he was very rude ! Yelling , tossing things in the kitchen just completely rude he was not going to give me another pizza and refused to serve me for a mistake he made in the kitchen ! I was being kind to him in a talking manner just completely rude and negative ! He did replace the pizza but when he did he gave me a pizza I didn't even request those toppings ! I just let it be I didn't need anymore negativity ! Took a while before anyone even acknowledged me. I ended up calling as I was standing at the counter. It was hot AF in there. They had an evaporator cooler, but apparently no water. Just blowing hot air like a giant hair dryer. Hard to understand the lady taking my order. I ordered a large, but she took the order as an extra large. Me and my family are new to the neighborhood. We are very excited about exploring and supporting all the wonderful local businesses throughout the community. One hungry Friday night we decided it was time to try the closest pizza restaurant by us. We ordered one medium pizza with two toppings. Please tell me why I was quoted $25.00 . We were all very sad. I consider a couple extra dollars more than the larger chains... but WOW! I can't afford that on a retirement budget. I'm scared to look at the rest of their menu items. Called Saturday August 8th at 4:30 pm and the guy who answered seemed like he didn't even want to take our order. Worst customer service. We called to to get the pizza replaced and kept getting hung up on several times we tried for 20 minutes me and my roommate's and all we heard of them is pick up the phone laugh and giggle they could hear us cause we heard the phone ringing. A friend lives and works nearby and orders regularly. I've stopped by a few times to pick up instead - but have never seen anyone eating in the restaurant itself. Pizza is always what's ordered, and it's really quite good - as long as you know how to order it. They have a 5.99 extra large cheese pizza special - for pick up only. When ordering on the phone make sure to tell them you're picking up for a regular customer, as they tend to skimp on the sauce and cheese if that's all you're ordering. Sometimes I go in and wait while they make it - and then it's the best bargain, super cheesy and balanced perfectly with the sauce! Crust type is your choice - I don't usually eat the crust, I eat theirs because it's so tasty. You can have thin or Chicago deep - any type of crust you like, all are hand tossed, and the pizzas are up to a true 16 inches, perfect for a group of people - which is usually what we do when a group of friends are getting together. Pizza specials give great value, for example: two 16" pizzas with 4 toppings each are only $22.50. Compared to Pizza Hut: 2 "Large" pizzas with 4 toppings each are $28. 'Nuff said. They do deliver, and offer other food, chicken, burgers, salads and the like, I've seen the burgers and they look ok, and ordered the 1/2 chicken once - it was way too dry.
