We recently got take out from Old School Pizzeria and were rather disappointed. We got a pepperoni pizza, five cheese pesto pizza with chicken and an antipasta salad. The pizza crust was chewy and soggy. It tasted undercooked, despite having charred edges which was weird. The salad was the best of the three items. WOW!!! A first time visit and we ordered a combo pizza with cheese, pepperoni, sausage, olives, onions and bell peppers. The sausage is homemade and the baby pitted olives were surprisingly full of flavor. The crust is a unique sourdough that compliments the delicious sweet marinara sauce. We also tried the tortellini pasta with vodka tomato sauce which complimented the pizza. Lastly, a sip of the house made lemonade with a touch of rosemary paired perfectly with the meal on a hot sunny day. First off I want to say that the vibes inside of the OSP were definitely more of a relaxed and intimate setting. There aren't that many tables, but the tables that were there were separated well enough that someone with a disability can find seating without issues. But you can tell that the majority of their orders are either pick up or delivery. The pizza was delicious and surprising the portion sizes were very large. I ordered the Monster Slice meal, as did my wifey and her mom, and we were all able to share our sides with one another. In it you get a piece of pizza (shown below) and a side as well as fountain drink. They have Hi-C orange which makes them an automatic go-to for anyone who cares about it. That being said, toppings can get a bit expensive especially if you want carnivore on both pieces. I opted for an extra slice but couldn't even eat it! The first piece took my entire stomach to hold. That was a win! The dessert cannolis were awesome! The right amount of cream just lightly dusted with pistachios. There are full pieces of pistachio inside the cream as well, so if you have bad teeth just be careful. Because they can easily get lodged in them. The staff except for the front counter were very quiet, not even addressing us as they set the food down. We had to get our own silverware and such which is not a big deal, but when you tell someone "thanks" or "I appreciate it" generally you get some sort of acknowledgment that something was said even if it's just a look. A small gripe but some people could be offended by that. All in all it was a great experience, and one I'm sure we will take in again although the next time we will probably DoorDash as the seating isn't all that comfortable. Keep these things in mind if you're looking for a sit down restaurant because this probably isn't the spot for you. Great pizza though! But a bench cushion or two would go a long way. read more

We've ordered delivery from here before but this was the first time we went in and ordered to eat inside. This place is cute and everyone was friendly. Greeted us when we came in. It's pretty dark inside so it can be hard to read the wall chalk menu, but they do have a paper menu to read that is easier. The pizza is fantastic as remembered. I got the monster slice pizza combo with pepperoni and mushroom and a side of garlic knots. My husband got the same combo but had "carnivore" toppings and got an extra slice (he was unaware of just how big they were) for his side. My mother got the same thing I did but instead of the knots she got the side salad. It was delicious. Chopped house salad with Roma tomatoes cheese and cucumbers. Each pizza combo comes with homemade ranch for your pizza. The pizza was perfect. I couldn't even eat half of the slice but so excited for leftovers! My husband devoured the one piece and brought home the second piece. And we just had to try the cannolis!! They stuff them to order and then dip the ends in pistachio crumbles. So freaking delicious!! Next time I want to try their pasta. I highly recommend this place if you haven't tried it!!! read more

After revisiting this pizza restaurant, I really have a change in opinion. The pizza is VERY good: great crust with great taste and the toppings were very good. I had the lunch special with the side salad and it was excellent. What an awesome combination! The restaurant is somewhat small and there's no traditional Garlic salt, Oregano, Parmigiano cheese and Crushed red pepper waiting around but they hooked me up. The place was pretty warm but it was summertime . In honesty I'd have to say that this place has the highest quality, best tasting pizza and lunch combination within a 5 mile radius. I'm don't usually enjoy pizza, but maybe it's because I've only ever had the big corporation brands. Today I changed my mind. After trying their simple Regina margarita and calabrese... I am a fan! The dough was very different from what I'm used to, it had a sourdough chew and flavor without any crazy seasonings. The toppings were fresh and had whole piece ingredients, unlike the manufactured bagged stuff. The cannoli was the best I've ever had, it had a smoother sweet cream with chopped pistachios...and the shell, wow.. instead of the regular thick pale and plain, this one was a thinner crisp shell with a nutty flavor. Crispy, charred, and hits the rank of a top tiered pizza. There were a few things that could have been better. Price is higher than most. Size was good. Pepperoni ingredients were decent. No napkins, no set up area, no paper plates for self service. It seemed like I was bothering somebody in trying to get a few cheese packets and red pepper flakes. No problem paying prior to that with a flip screen recommended tip for pickup. Service attitude and guilt tipping for pickup bothers me. First and foremost if you eat here I would recommend dining in... (more on that later) I ordered the monster slice + an extra slice with pepperoni and ricotta cheese. My total was 17 dollars. The atmosphere of this place was absolutely amazing, they have old school Italian music holding true to their "old school pizzeria name". They have an observation area to watch them make your pizza and it was obvious that they knew what they were doing. Service was awesome. The pizza itself was the best I've had in north Las Vegas by a long shot, the ricotta was to die for, the dough had a sour dough tang to it that completed the pizza remarkably, the pepperoni and cheese was fresh and so was the tomato sauce. If I could do it all again I'll just get ricotta cheese as my topping as the pepperoni was amazing but interfered with the amazing flavor of the ricotta. I will be returning soon . read more

The person at Counter knows customer service, he was patient for it was my first time patronizing old school pizzeria. He was interrupted while serving me to put a pizza in the open which I thought that was weird. The food looks awesome as I looked around and if it taste the way it looks I will be back. It has a neighborhood feel when inside. It doesn't feel like a franchise with cheap ingredients, it was a little pricey but if I can keep eating Seabass I'm willing to put the pizza as a regular too. I ordered a pizza and garlic parm wings. When I picked up my order, the staff member told me they missed my wing order, so they game me the butter, garlic, parm cheese, and white sauce, in separate containers, and told me to mix them myself. I appreciate the gesture, but if someone makes a mistake on an order, just remake the order the way its suppose to be prepared. I don't think, as the customer, that I should be doing the Chef's job for him. I also find it confusing that the staff had enough time to package all the ingredients in separate containers, which could have taken longer then just tossing the wings themselves.
