One of my go to spots in town for pizza but the rest of the menu is dynamite too - don't sleep on the wings; so good! Love the wine BTG selections as well as the amaro's. A perfect spot to grab a bite and drink before a night out on the strip or wherever. The staff are warm and friendly too. I still need to make it in for lunch because that menu looks fire! read more

Pizza is great, customer service is lacking. I get the pan pizza and I've had it at least 10 times prior and they would let me get any flavor on the menu for the pan pizza. The menu only shows two options for it, but they've let me order any other pizza combo for the pan pizza every other time I've been in the store. I went today and they told me they couldn't, which made no sense because I did this prior. I asked why and I couldn't get a straight answer. I'm disappointed that I couldn't order what I wanted to, but I also live 20 miles away so I wasted my time and gas money because I just ended up leaving. We stopped in for pizza after going to Omega Mart on a Sunday night and were seated right away. We had never been here so we took a few minutes to look through the menu. When our waiter returned we asked about pizza sizes and found out there's just one that seemed to be about a 12". He said he'd let us decide and then a while later we flagged him down to order. We got two pizzas and two appetizers. The wings we ordered were buffalo. They were not in the least bit spicy like the buffalo sauce we're used to. It was however very vinegary. Almost like a malt vinegar. They were fried well just weren't the sauce we had expected. Also ordered the focaccia garlic bread with marinara sauce. He brought us a side of ranch when we asked about the wings. That didn't change anything about the wings but the ranch was very good. Even liked it as a dip for the garlic bread. The pizzas are fresh but the Bri k oven style is not a fan favorite for us so sadly most of them thought it was just ok. I thought the flavor of the pepperoni one was good. Liked the kick of the oil that was on top. We got the sausage and peppers. Couldn't taste any sausage but the peppers had that same vinegary flavor as the wings and there were a LOT of peppers on that pizza. It was all you could taste. Sadly my niece was planning to pick them off and just eat sausage pizza but what she really got was a cheese pizza that tasted sour. It's unfortunate we had this happen bc I've seen so many great reviews of this spot. I also decided to try the tiramisu off online review recommendations. I got it to go. It is different with the dark rum for sure. Still good. Just know it will be different if you love regular tiramisu you could be disappointed. I would try it again but the rest of my crew wouldn't. Two wrongs may not make a right, but two zeroes make a great sandwich. Double Zero Pie & Pub is a gastropub in the Center at Spring Mountain, a strip mall that's pretty busy in the evening. Good thing they added lunch when it's not so slammed, and great thing I finally made it out for said lunch... even if it wasn't to try their pizzas. I had my eye on the Chicago Hot Beef Dip ($19.00), their take on one of my favorite sandwiches. They serve it dry, but it's actually pretty great on its own with the airy bread and tender short rib augmented by gooey mozz, creamy kosho aioli, and potent giardiniera. The beef jus does magnify everything though, and the bread easily soaks it up. My overall impression is that salt is a flavor and they really complement it with the spices and the acidic punch in the giardiniera. There is an included side with the sandwich, either kettle chips or a salad. I normally like to fill up, but I was sold when the server said there was arugula. This arugula is fresh and intense, and it's dressed with balsamic drizzle and perhaps a vinaigrette. The small bits of cheese and what I can only describe as sundried grape tomatoes add little bits of fun in every other bite. I also really loved the house-made Green Tea Yuzu Soda ($5.00), which was a great sipper alone but also really counterbalanced the intense food items. Yuzu can be great on its own, but I'm sure the green tea added subtle nuance on the edges. I managed to show up at a quiet part of the day, so the relaxing music wasn't drowned out by any conversation. The atmosphere wasn't too dark since I was right by the window, and I was mostly left alone by the server to relax and enjoy the meal. I will definitely have to come back to Double Zero to try some of the pies and perhaps some of the other house-made sodas. If the great lunch was a sign, I'm sure I'll be happy next time. read more

Excellent pizza and incredible customer service. Very attentive wait staff that checked in on us regularly. We had a little issue where our pizza was delivered to the wrong table so we waited about 30 minutes for us to ask them about it. Once they recognized the mistake, they brought us free drinks, free dessert and gave us a percentage off our final bill. Very sweet employees who genuinely want you to have a great experience. Finally tried this spot out and so glad I did. Thankfully there was no wait and we were seated immediately for lunch on a Saturday. We went with the recommended mushroom pizza on a classic crust, and also the Nagoya (Detroit style) pizza. Oh we also started off with the Caesar salad, which must - super fresh and tasty. Pizza was really, really good. I went around 4 PM on a Monday and it wasn't very busy. It's located in the strangest of strip malls in Las Vegas' Chinatown. This place must have a good reputation as the few others that were in there sounded like "pizza aficionados" by the conversation they were having with the staff. I was expecting a long wait based on some of the reviews, but my pizza was ready within ten minutes. What can I say, but this definitely was one of the best pizzas I've had. Granted, I myself am not a world traveler when it comes to pizza, this thing was better than every other pizza I've had so far. It had a little spice to it and the sauce was very flavorful. The crust was equally as good. It was bready but in a good way, yet still had a light chewiness to it. If you like warm crusty bread, you'll love their dough. And finally their pepperoni was very unique. It wasn't like a traditional pepperoni, but appeared more custom cut in mature. Very tasty. Highly recommend. Cute pizza spot- small and dimly lit. We came around 445 during happy hour and were only one of two tables. Ordered bottled water for the table and the bartender brought over glasses with ice in them. We asked to switch them out as that defeats the purpose of ordering bottled water :) We asked what happy hour consisted of and he only said "everything on draft." First beer I ordered, he said they were out of. I picked another beer then he disappeared for a while and came back and apologized and said that beer was out too. At this point, I just asked him to please get the drinks for the rest of the table while I decided on a third option. While friendly, we had a couple of questions about ingredients on the menu items and he didn't know the answer to either of them. Both pepperoni pizzas (regular crust and thin crust) were excellent. The arugula salad was delicious as well. The La Schiacciata it was a hit with my mother-in-law and husband, but I didn't care for it, even though I am both a truffle and honey lover. It felt much too sweet and had too much cheese spread. I had called ahead for them to please make note that it was my stepson's 13th birthday, but nothing was ever done for that. A portable payment device was brought over to our table at the end of our meal. I don't love the idea of not being able to look over a check before paying. We came here tonight to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary. Our server Ryan we had before and she is simply the best! We love her! She's so friendly, and on top of everything we needed. Wish it didn't take over 30 min for a diavola pizza. Restaurant was 1/3 full. 2 small tables served before I received dinner. Ordered a Tropical Forest IPA and a Diavola Pie at the bar. Went here for lunch today and it was a fantastic experience! From the food, to the ambiance, to the service, 5 stars all around! I made a reservation on OpenTable, but it wasn't necessary- it was pretty empty. The inside was hip, trendy, and modern- dimly lit and very clean. Decided to come here to get some Togo food before bball practice and was blown away! First when I got in I loved the vibe! I also loved that it wasn't too noisy so that made it easier to talk to each other! When I picked up my order I did realize that it may be too small for me and was talking about how I should've ordered another one when he stated if I wanted another he was able to throw in it and be done around 5 mins! While all the flavor combos are pleasing with just the right amount of toppings not to weigh the pie down, the Diavola and the Eggplant Caponata truly stand out both with pleasing flavors and a spicy kick. I came in on a Sunday about 20 mins before closing and ordered Togo. The person taking my order was so friendly I should've gotten his name. He gave me his recommendations and he was very knowledgeable about the menu. He even offered to bring my food to my car where I was waiting! The place was decorated like a pub- good vibes. I ended up getting the short rib all'rancia. Definitely no regrets! It was really delicious and flavorful. The meat it came with was very tender. I wish I had added maybe spinach or mushrooms to help balance out the cheesiness. It also had a slight zest and I think it came from the tangerine oil? I was told it had mandarin crisp too. I didn't taste the "crisp" (but maybe it's bc I ate it the next day). The dough was interesting as it was a bit chewy in a sense? The pizza was only crispy on the crust and more on the softer side at the rest of the pizza. Overall it was a great experience and I would plan to come back to try their Wagyu carpaccio. This is a neat place to check out, especially if you don't mind dining early. We had reservations for 4 PM for a party of 4. We we arrived, there was no one else dining. We had the restaurant to ourselves for at least an hour. They have a screen playing old Japanese cartoons and music videos, as well as TVs with sports. Since it was happy hour, we each tried some different. The men had beer and is ladies had cocktails. The lemon sour was not as good as the Tokyo punch. We had the meatballs and Tokyo wings for appetizers. The wings had a unique texture and flavor and would definitely try the other flavors. This place has been on our radar after seeing all those YouTube videos and hearing about them ending up in the country's Top 50 Pizzerias. We came in for lunch and didn't wait too long to be seated but did wait a while for service. There was a whole section that was reserved for a group which is probably why service was a bit rushed. We ordered the Tokyo Wings, Pepperoni Pizza, and Funghi Pizza. The wings had a nice marinade but weren't crispy at all. The pizzas were okay but didn't live up to the hype. I preferred the Funghi with the white sauce than the Pepperoni with vodka sauce since the ingredients were more well-balanced and not overpowering. Not sure why it took us so long to try Double Zero, but I'm glad we did as it's fantastic! The location is in a very busy shopping center, so parking can be a struggle, but once you walk in you're greeted with a cool, low-key vibe with exposed brick, herringbone floors with music videos projected on the back wall. We started off with the Insalata Verde, which was a nice alternative to the standard pizza place salad. The pesto is fresh, the balsamic is sharp and the focaccia croutons were the right amount of crunchy. I wished there were a few more pieces of mozzarella and the semi dried tomatoes, but I really enjoyed this salad. For pizza, we decided to pick a benchmark, Pepperoni. Double Zero does it with vodka sauce, dry aged pepperoni and a chili crunch topping, which I felt worked well together. Although we did the chili crunch on the side (my wife is not a fan of spice), it's a great addition of heat and flavor to the slightly spicy pepperoni and creamy mozzarella. Crust has a great chew, and holds its own to other highly rated Neapolitan places we've tried (including a globally top 10 rated neopolitan pizza place). They also have a house pale ale brewed locally by HUDL Brewing, which paired well with the meal. I need to go back soon. Very soon. In fact, I might go back again next week. Double Zero Pie & Pub has a pretty good pizza but also has one of the best desserts I've had. The first pizza we had was the Margherita which was just simple, classic, and exactly what you want from a pizza. The sauce has that nice tomato sweetness and the cheese melts perfectly. The crust on both pizzas have a nice chew to them, but there is a little bit too much char spots on the crust edge. I love a little char to add some flavor but on these pizzas it was overwhelming where the burnt char was the only thing I could taste on some bites. The Burrata E Pesto was a good pizza that has a lot of different flavors going on but was mostly overtaken by the balsamic glaze and the charred crust. The Nikka Whiskey flight was a wonderful option to try out some different whiskeys. Definitely recommend if you enjoy Japanese whiskeys. The tiramisu was definitely different from most other tiramisus as it is soaked in dark rum and you can tell. Every bit has that strong rum flavor which is a nice change of pace from most tiramisu. The highlight of the meal was the double zero cannoli. This is a deconstructed cannoli with a layer of pistachio mascarpone topped with a thin toffee crisp, with more mascarpone on top, then showered in pistachios. I've never had anything like it and it is one of the best desserts I've ever had. The mascarpone is delicious in its own right but the toffee crisp adds some needed texture with a wonderful extra sweet toffee flavor. The pistachios add some more texture and some nuttiness and saltiness. Absolutely incredible. Server took a while to get around to us and ended up having to order dessert from a different server. Also never came by to refill water. I would definitely come here again just to eat the double zero cannoli again and would love to try some of the other pizzas. read more

Love the funghi pizza and the pepperoni pizza and a Caesar salad (has capers and typically anchovies on it). This time the lettuce in the Caesar was turning slightly brown and there were no anchovies. The pepperoni seems a little too salty. Also tried the ginger miso wings and they were lacking flavor and luster also looked nothing like they did in the photos on yelp. So I'm thinking maybe they forgot to fully season them...? Nonetheless the fungi pizza never disappoints and is a must try. I assume it was just an off night as I've been multiple times. So five stars will remain. read more

Wow this place has been on our radar for a moment. Finally we came in as a walk in and were able to seat immediately. I ordered a ginger beer and my boyfriend got a beer. They also had a full bar. This place reminded me of a cozy Chicago style bar. It was a great vibe with their projector screen on the brick walls and very clean and masculine but fresh and great taste. We were so hungry and ordered their beef carpaccio and truffle honey focaccia bread with cheese. Everything so far was delicious. Then we got the margarita pizza and short rib pizza. I love the charred pizza crust it was fresh and had great crunch. Later we took the leftovers home and threw them in the air fryer and it was amazing still. I attempted to place a to go order at 10:30pm online and it was unavailable so I called the restaurant trying to place my order and Michael, who answered the phone, told me they only take orders online. When he said this I specifically asked that if I go into the restaurant instead can I place my order there- to which he said yes. I arrived in 5 minutes, so around 10:35pm we walked in and told me the kitchen was closed.. yet they close at 11:00pm. He could have easily told me on the phone they are no longer accepting to go orders instead of wasting my time and gas. They need to work on their lack of communication. read more

We started out with the Wagyu carpaccio and I can't begin to tell you how delicious this was. We then ordered two pizzas. First step was the Funghi which is a vegetarian pizza comes with a white sauce, fior de latte, mozzarella, garlic, mushrooms, charred, green onions, Parmesan, chives and sea salt. No protein needed cause it was amazing as is. Next step was a Short Rib All'Arancina, but they just started making it with a pan tossed crust, and it was so fantastic! Short rib, fior de latte (cow milk chees, fumella, orange chimichurri, chives, Mandarin crisps, tangerine oil, pistachios, and chives. After I found out, they had won the 43rd place for pizza. I decided to try them out. I braved the heat and decided to go on their deal day for only $4.30 per pizza . My husband and I ordered to go and we got the fungi pizza and the pepperoni pizza . Both pizzas came out nice and hot with a great chewy crust. However, I did feel that both pizzas were very doughy and not a ton of toppings. The crust was good, nice char, but so much that it felt very crusty and bready. Regular price for both of these pizzas is $23 and unfortunately do not see myself spending that much money on it ever. Very grateful to try it!
