Pizza is great, customer service is lacking. I get the pan pizza and I've had it at least 10 times prior and they would let me get any flavor on the menu for the pan pizza. The menu only shows two options for it, but they've let me order any other pizza combo for the pan pizza every other time I've been in the store. I went today and they told me they couldn't, which made no sense because I did this prior. I asked why and I couldn't get a straight answer. I'm disappointed that I couldn't order what I wanted to, but I also live 20 miles away so I wasted my time and gas money because I just ended up leaving. Two wrongs may not make a right, but two zeroes make a great sandwich. Double Zero Pie & Pub is a gastropub in the Center at Spring Mountain, a strip mall that's pretty busy in the evening. Good thing they added lunch when it's not so slammed, and great thing I finally made it out for said lunch... even if it wasn't to try their pizzas. I had my eye on the Chicago Hot Beef Dip ($19.00), their take on one of my favorite sandwiches. They serve it dry, but it's actually pretty great on its own with the airy bread and tender short rib augmented by gooey mozz, creamy kosho aioli, and potent giardiniera. The beef jus does magnify everything though, and the bread easily soaks it up. My overall impression is that salt is a flavor and they really complement it with the spices and the acidic punch in the giardiniera. There is an included side with the sandwich, either kettle chips or a salad. I normally like to fill up, but I was sold when the server said there was arugula. This arugula is fresh and intense, and it's dressed with balsamic drizzle and perhaps a vinaigrette. The small bits of cheese and what I can only describe as sundried grape tomatoes add little bits of fun in every other bite. I also really loved the house-made Green Tea Yuzu Soda ($5.00), which was a great sipper alone but also really counterbalanced the intense food items. Yuzu can be great on its own, but I'm sure the green tea added subtle nuance on the edges. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I managed to show up at a quiet part of the day, so the relaxing music wasn't drowned out by any conversation. Went here for restaurant week so we could sample their menu and we were very impressed. Started with meatballs and garlic bread. The meatballs were so tender and moist! And the garlic bread was flavorful and covered in cheese which was a plus. We ordered the Margherita pizza which had the thinnest crust while remaining crisp and never soggy. We ended the meal with the Pistachio Cannoli which was the star of the show! Maybe the best dessert we have ever had in Vegas. While not shaped nor textured like a traditional cannoli, everything worked so well together. It was pistachio cream layered with crispy thin toffee and topped with pistachio and toffee crumbles. Finally tried this spot out and so glad I did. Thankfully there was no wait and we were seated immediately for lunch on a Saturday. Cute pizza spot- small and dimly lit. We came around 445 during happy hour and were only one of two tables. Ordered bottled water for the table and the bartender brought over glasses with ice in them. We asked to switch them out as that defeats the purpose of ordering bottled water :) We asked what happy hour consisted of and he only said "everything on draft." First beer I ordered, he said they were out of. I picked another beer then he disappeared for a while and came back and apologized and said that beer was out too. At this point, I just asked him to please get the drinks for the rest of the table while I decided on a third option. While friendly, we had a couple of questions about ingredients on the menu items and he didn't know the answer to either of them. Both pepperoni pizzas (regular crust and thin crust) were excellent. The arugula salad was delicious as well. The La Schiacciata it was a hit with my mother-in-law and husband, but I didn't care for it, even though I am both a truffle and honey lover. It felt much too sweet and had too much cheese spread. I had called ahead for them to please make note that it was my stepson's 13th birthday, but nothing was ever done for that. A portable payment device was brought over to our table at the end of our meal. I don't love the idea of not being able to look over a check before paying. We stopped in for pizza after going to Omega Mart on a Sunday night and were seated right away. We had never been here so we took a few minutes to look through the menu. When our waiter returned we asked about pizza sizes and found out there's just one that seemed to be about a 12". He said he'd let us decide and then a while later we flagged him down to order. We got two pizzas and two appetizers. The wings we ordered were buffalo. They were not in the least bit spicy like the buffalo sauce we're used to. It was however very vinegary. Almost like a malt vinegar. They were fried well just weren't the sauce we had expected. Also ordered the focaccia garlic bread with marinara sauce. He brought us a side of ranch when we asked about the wings. That didn't change anything about the wings but the ranch was very good. Even liked it as a dip for the garlic bread. The pizzas are fresh but the Bri k oven style is not a fan favorite for us so sadly most of them thought it was just ok. I thought the flavor of the pepperoni one was good. Liked the kick of the oil that was on top. We got the sausage and peppers. Couldn't taste any sausage but the peppers had that same vinegary flavor as the wings and there were a LOT of peppers on that pizza. It was all you could taste. Sadly my niece was planning to pick them off and just eat sausage pizza but what she really got was a cheese pizza that tasted sour. It's unfortunate we had this happen bc I've seen so many great reviews of this spot. I also decided to try the tiramisu off online review recommendations. I got it to go. Decided to come here to get some Togo food before bball practice and was blown away! First when I got in I loved the vibe! I also loved that it wasn't too noisy so that made it easier to talk to each other! Recently checked out Double Zero Pie & Pub and had a great first experience! We came on a weekend around 2:30pm and the place was basically empty, so we got seated right away. One thing to note: dinner service starts at 3:00pm, which opens up a much more diverse pizza menu (including their short rib pizza). The lunch menu only has three pizza options, but since it was our first visit, we didn't mind and went with the classic pepperoni. The pizza came out hot and fresh and was the perfect size for two hungry people. The vodka sauce was the real star, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with the crunch from the chili oil and the saltiness of the pepperoni. The crust also deserves a shoutout. I'm usually not big on wood-fired pizza, but this one was light, airy, and just the right amount of charred. Service was relaxed and friendly, and the ambiance gave off cool, industrial warehouse vibes. We came in for lunch and didn't wait too long to be seated but did wait a while for service. There was a whole section that was reserved for a group which is probably why service was a bit rushed. We ordered the Tokyo Wings, Pepperoni Pizza, and Funghi Pizza. The wings had a nice marinade but weren't crispy at all. The pizzas were okay but didn't live up to the hype. Not sure why it took us so long to try Double Zero, but I'm glad we did as it's fantastic! The location is in a very busy shopping center, so parking can be a struggle, but once you walk in you're greeted with a cool, low-key vibe with exposed brick, herringbone floors with music videos projected on the back wall. We started off with the Insalata Verde, which was a nice alternative to the standard pizza place salad. The pesto is fresh, the balsamic is sharp and the focaccia croutons were the right amount of crunchy. I wished there were a few more pieces of mozzarella and the semi dried tomatoes, but I really enjoyed this salad. For pizza, we decided to pick a benchmark, Pepperoni. Double Zero does it with vodka sauce, dry aged pepperoni and a chili crunch topping, which I felt worked well together. Although we did the chili crunch on the side (my wife is not a fan of spice), it's a great addition of heat and flavor to the slightly spicy pepperoni and creamy mozzarella. Crust has a great chew, and holds its own to other highly rated Neapolitan places we've tried (including a globally top 10 rated neopolitan pizza place). They also have a house pale ale brewed locally by HUDL Brewing, which paired well with the meal. I need to go back soon. Very soon. In fact, I might go back again next week. Double Zero Pie & Pub has a pretty good pizza but also has one of the best desserts I've had. The first pizza we had was the Margherita which was just simple, classic, and exactly what you want from a pizza. The sauce has that nice tomato sweetness and the cheese melts perfectly. The crust on both pizzas have a nice chew to them, but there is a little bit too much char spots on the crust edge. I love a little char to add some flavor but on these pizzas it was overwhelming where the burnt char was the only thing I could taste on some bites. The Burrata E Pesto was a good pizza that has a lot of different flavors going on but was mostly overtaken by the balsamic glaze and the charred crust. The Nikka Whiskey flight was a wonderful option to try out some different whiskeys. Definitely recommend if you enjoy Japanese whiskeys. The tiramisu was definitely different from most other tiramisus as it is soaked in dark rum and you can tell. Every bit has that strong rum flavor which is a nice change of pace from most tiramisu. The highlight of the meal was the double zero cannoli. This is a deconstructed cannoli with a layer of pistachio mascarpone topped with a thin toffee crisp, with more mascarpone on top, then showered in pistachios. I've never had anything like it and it is one of the best desserts I've ever had. The mascarpone is delicious in its own right but the toffee crisp adds some needed texture with a wonderful extra sweet toffee flavor. The pistachios add some more texture and some nuttiness and saltiness. Absolutely incredible. Server took a while to get around to us and ended up having to order dessert from a different server. Also never came by to refill water. I would definitely come here again just to eat the double zero cannoli again and would love to try some of the other pizzas. read more

My husband and I ordered to go and we got the fungi pizza and the pepperoni pizza . Both pizzas came out nice and hot with a great chewy crust. However, I did feel that both pizzas were very doughy and not a ton of toppings. The crust was good, nice char, but so much that it felt very crusty and bready. Regular price for both of these pizzas is $23 and unfortunately do not see myself spending that much money on it ever. Very grateful to try it! Small place, but I could imagine how pack it would be on a weekend. Came for their special $4.30 for celebrating their top three selling pizzas- Margherita, pepperoni, funghi. With this special offer there was a line out the door. To our luck, we had party of 4, and we were able to get in right away! Yes!! Really solid pizza It's light, perfect size, crispy and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. I was very surprised at the lack of grease and the crisp level of the pizza. I was worried it was going to be floppy but it wasn't at all. I never felt heavy after eating it. We got the short rib pizza and the Bianca add pepperoni. Both were absolutely delicious! We also got the wings which had such an interesting flavor to it. Very unique and tasty. Service was good and ambiance was nice. I'd say the only disappointment was the dessert. The cannoli looked sad and the flavor wasn't bad but it wasn't anything to write home about. It really was the least impactful thing we ate. J was too full to try any other desserts so I can't speak to them but the cannoli was just mediocre at best. Overall I really enjoyed eating here and will definitely be back soon! read more
