The pizza is good. I love the rice ball and penne a la vodka. However, today it took 2 full hours for my order to arrive (ordered at approx 4:50 and arrived COLD and WRONG at 6:55). I called the restaurant three times. The first time, I was assured it would arrive soon. The second time I called, the owner said the driver had been held up at another stop and admitted the driver was supposed to come to me first. He said he would be there in 7 minutes. That was at 6:26. The third time I called was at 6:45, the owner said that he was on the phone with the driver and that the driver was in front of my house. Nope. I was in front of my house and there were no moving cars or people to be seen. A few minutes later the driver pulled up and gave me my food which was sitting there in the car (no heated van as advertized which might have kept my food hot at least ). The owner said he will figure out how to get me a $15 credit. Keep in mind i pre-tipped so that is really an $8 credit for a 2 hour wait. I may order from here again, but it will no longer be our regular place to order from. There are too many other options in the area. read more

How have I not reviewed my fave pizza spot ever!!!!??? Everything here is good, and I mean EVERYTHING!!! They have some unique specialty pizzas - penne on pizza anyone?? Their penne ala vodka is amazing. The guys behind the counter are nice, you can tell they just want to feed you (I don't know how else to express it). Wanted Italian food and I picked up food from this place yesterday it was good. Trying to order food today online, Worst thing ever. The website tells me that my zip code is wrong (which it wasn't) and it doesn't complete my order but the amount of my order was charged to my card. I call the store to speak to someone. The person who answered the phone transferred me to Sofia I'm assuming. She tells me no we don't have any orders, it could be pending. I explain it's not, it was taken from my balance and charged to my credit card. She puts me on hold to put some man on the phone. Who tries to continuously say the same thing as the lady did. But he's shouting at me "MS THE TRANSACTION IS PENDING ITS NOT APPROVED" but in fact it is. Smh idc how good the food is customer service is key. Don't yell at me because your online system is shitty and you guys are stealing from potential customers. Clearly they knew what the website stated before I even explained what happen. Now I have to report fraud on my account just because I was in fact charged and the transaction wasn't pending it posted to my credit card. This spot is located close to home and it's by far the best in the neighborhood. The one complaint I would have is their delivery service. The drivers have a strung out look to them and they take way too long. I was having a lazy afternoon over the summer and decided to order from them. HORRIBLE SERVICE Wanted something quick to the hotel. Was told 30 minutes max on delivery. An hour later called back and they denied ever saying 30 minutes, said all deliveries take 45 minutes to an hour. It has been almost an hour and 15 minutes and we still don't have our food. We are dropping our daughter off at JFK airport and are staying at the Fairfield Inn. When we checked in, we asked the front desk where to get very good NY style pizza, they responded Sophia's Pizza. At that same time, the delivery person for Sophia's was dropping off a pizza for guests at the Marriott. She said the food was excellent, and the restaurant was only 10 minutes away. We decided to drive over and check it out, and both the front desk and the delivery person were right. The food was fantastic !!! And the service was excellent. Everyone was super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel "at home". This place is a winner if you are looking for NY style pizza and awesome desserts. We had half pepperoni and half spinach. The dessert was red velvet cake and cheese cake, both delicious !! So glad we came here. 5 stars all around. read more

We order to JFK for large groups. Easy to order and food is great. They deliver right to arrivals for us. We love the Buffalo Wings.

So this is the 3rd time that they took over 1.5 hrs to deliver, after saying 30 minutes. The young lady on the phone is rude and made me seem crazy for calling and asking where the delivery was. She even hung up saying it will be there when it gets there. Whatever has happened to the place they lost 3 regular customers.. (Pitkin and Magnolia).. there are plenty of pizzeria's in the area.. Wow. Piping hot pizza delivered as promised (told between 45 min to an hour on a Saturday night) in 50 minutes to the JFK Hilton. Folks, this is really good pizza. I would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely horrible customer service. Waited for an hour and called to follow up on pizza ordered to our hotel room. Driver said they tried to deliver and called our room (he had the right number when I followed up) but that we didn't answer, when in fact he didn't give the driver the right number. Driver came back another 20 mins later with cold pizza, confirmed they accidentally tried wrong room. Offered $2 off for completely cold pizza. Called the place back to complain and the guy then lied to say he had heard me say the wrong number, and that the pizza was still hot. It wasn't. Then he hung up on me. To avoid mistakes like this, perhaps instead of only taking down a room number at the hotel they're delivering to, take down a name too, or a cell phone number! When placing my order to begin with they were in such a hurry to get off the phone, I offered billing info and everything and he told me the driver would take care of it when he arrived. read more
