Aldo Pizza is one of our favorite local spots. The staff is always kind, friendly, and welcoming. During our recent visit, we had the pleasure of meeting both the owner and the chef. They took the time to introduce themselves and make us feel welcome, which added such a personal touch to the experience. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We ordered the veal francese, meatballs and spaghetti, and a cubed-up pizza for our little one. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. We also frequently order pizza delivery from Aldo Pizza, and it never disappoints. It's always a reliable choice for great food and friendly service. Went last week with my developmentally challenged brother and a colleague for lunch and sat in the dining room next to the side entrance doors. While my brother is low on intelligence, he's a total unabashed food snob. He felt that the sausage pizza was "OK". I had Manicotti, which I didn't like and hardly ate. The picture shows a nicely and neatly wrapped Manicotti (3 of them) but they weren't that soft, and the flavor was like a sour sauce. I suggest they rethink this presentation. On the other hand, we had the Chicken Marsala, and all 3 of us really liked it. Phenomenal sauce... Great portion and flavor. I would actually return just for this! I used to order from here all the time. I ordered yesterday through Slice for the first time since they've reopened under new management/ownership. My son got sick from the pizza. Threw up all night. Their gluten free pizza is definitely not gluten free. Theres no disclosure about cross contamination anywhere. Needless to say, I will not eat from here again. read more

Came here with a large party (10+ people). The polite waitstaff were in the same area and were quickly assessible for your drink orders, silverware or anything else needed. I really enjoyed the food. I hear this place is a staple, so there was no disappointment nor a wasted trip to Ozone Park. We've eaten here plenty of times. We've also ordered take out numerous times. Today we celebrated our son's 9th birthday with approximately 15. The food was amazing. The potions were so large EVERYONE went home with leftovers. The staff were perfect. Timely friendly. Made us feel at home. Ambiance is what you'd expect. The prices are affordable. So I am really with a capital D disappointed in this place. , my daughter came home from being out of town and wasn't feeling well. It was late at night, and I believe her order was probably the last one. she ordered chicken soup. The soup arrived by Uber eats. she got almost finished with the soup and realized that the chicken on the bottom was raw. Yes RAW! Pink Raw. She already finished most of the soup was so scared eating that raw chicken. She took photos of it but unfortunately they have now been deleted, so I can't post photos . What I'm really mad about is the next day she called Aldo's to tell them what had happened and they said they were not responsible because she received her food from Uber eats delivery . Aldo's has FIRE Sicilian Pizza and great fried Calamari. I love calamari, and it taste good here for a pizza joint. We stopped here for some Sicilian Pizza and fried calamari. I got me what I thought was gonna be tasty and properly appropriate for dinner. Chicken Alfredo cutlet chicken with a side salad house salad I believe. They didn't send me Caesar dressing and I asked for it so they send me Italian. It's been awhile since I had Aldo's Pizzeria but I'm glad I made the call. I've had their pizza from time to time but I finally ordered a pasta dish, well two dishes. They gladly altered my order to what I wanted and the food arrived nice and hot. Gnocchi is on point a little Al Dente like I enjoyed and the penne Al a vodka was delicious with not an overwhelming taste of pancetta how I like. Finally got to try this place under the new ownership..... honestly me & my family gave up on Aldo's over 15+ yrs ago..... Well out with the old & in with the new & we think it's a great thing .... We stopped in for dinner on Mother's Day 5/13/29 at about 5:pm with out reservations.... the restaurant was full but they were able to fit me & the wife in .... We started off with their Caesar salad & an order of their fried Calamari both were delicious & their marinara sauce was on point ... Then the wife had their Fettuccine Aldo which had shrimp, prosciutto & zucchini with a pink cream sauce .... the wife loves it !!! I had their Seafood Fra Diablo over linguini also a delicious dish served with a lobster tail, shrimps, clams, muscles & calamari all the fish was cooked perfectly nice & tender & the sauce was on point ... Me and the hubby decide last minute to have a lil date night. So we choose to go to aldo's, never knew it had a restaurant part we sat down n a guy in there asked if we are having a sit down dinner to gonin the other room where there is also a bar. It was so pleasant. Our waiter mario was so attentive to us. My our first dining in the restaurant part very welcoming. We had a nice time there. The food was so delish, i couldnt get enough of the zucchini sticks for our appetizer, my baked ziti was also very tasty and made perfect. We got some coffee also, as full as i was that coffee hit the spot and really was a very good coffee. I highly recommend coming here, i hope mario will be our waiter again his awesome. !! read more

Just dined here for a memorial luncheon with our family. The entire experience was amazing and if I could give them More than 5 stars I would. The appetizers were delicious, especially the friend calamari. Some of the dishes that were enjoyed was the chicken rollatini, risotto with shrimp, penne ala vodka and the chicken cutlet parmigiana and this is to just name a few. This place is fairly good from the past experiences. My sister and brother-in-law has ordered from here a few times when we go over to their home. The wait is not that long if you order ahead of time for pick-up. The price of all the food is okay. I like their pizza and pasta. The pizza is fresh. They only have regular crust pizza though. Wish they make thin crust pizza. #SADface The pasta always tastes al dente and never overcooked. The portions are big and always enough to share. We all like their complementary bread with our order! I'm struggling writing this review and how many stars to give. I ordered a half tray of pasta and a half tray of house salad for delivery to someone's home. I was charged over $142 for it, which included a fee in excess of $5 because I used a credit card. I thought it seemed like a lot of money but my mind was distracted that day on other errands and things to tend to. The people I ordered the food for called me and said the food was good but the receipt was on the order when delivered and they told me I paid too much and got ripped off. They sent me a picture of how much the total order cost on Slicelife.com and it was about $50 cheaper than what I paid and the prices listed are SIGNIFICANTLY less than on the menu in the restaurant. I called Aldo's and spoke with someone (manager?)who was very polite and respectful. (I did not mention Slicelife). He looked over my bill and told me I was correct and was charged for a full tray instead of a half tray of salad. He was incredibly apologetic and offered to reimburse me the over-charge either with a restaurant credit, cash or a refund to my credit card. I chose the refund to my card. He explained it could take 3 to 4 business days for it to be reflected and I said okay. Fast forward 11 days - still no refund to my account. I finally had a chance to go back to the restaurant and refreshed his memory. I also told him about and showed him the price differences listed on Slicelife.com. He was surprised and said that those prices were wrong and couldn't imagine where they got them from. He again was apologetic and polite and immediately refunded me the cash - $22, based off the menu they have there in the restaurant. I'm not really sure how I feel about it. Whether I should have been reimbursed the difference that's on Slicelife or the difference on the menus in the restaurant. I didn't argue the point because I did order from the menu in the restaurant and not online. I haven't eaten their food yet, other than an upside down Sicilian slice two times. Which was good enough, not great, but good. I was sad when Aldo's was sold the first time and it didn't really work out so well. Aldo's was one of my favorite local pizzerias-local and quick, go-to places for food. I was happy to hear new owners took it over and people were saying good things about the place and the food. I'm just not sure how I feel about the place because of this experience and their catering prices seem very overpriced. I found out afterwards that I could've gotten the same tray of pasta from another local Italian restaurant (not pizzeria-restaurant) for less money. read more

It's been 6 years of being back to ny after moving to California and I have to say this pizza is worth the trip back.

The slices here are pretty decent. I live in the area and come here but mostly for the Chicken Parm heroes, stuff like that. I also really like the Chicken Roll (it is really big and it is $5.00). Like I said, the pizza is great but maybe not on the level as Gino's. A close second though in the neighborhood. read more
