+ The Balkan (Bosnian) pizza was yummy, crunchy, and easy to eat. . I asked for side entrée recommendations. The clerk highlighted the Ćevapi (it's like a sausages sandwich). It was decent. I like that it comes with a variety of sides (onions and sauces). + Very friendly, helpful staff. + Decent amount of indoor + outdoor seating. + Pleasant ambience. + Ample free parking, but for some reason today (Saturday noon) was very crowded. . Though the pizza takes ~15min to cook, nice that there are nearby stores to walk around to pass the time. - The food was a lil exorbitant. Our total for a large pizza + a small Ćevapi was almost $40.

    Ćevapi are the best!

I LOVE the ćevapi and pizza at this place. The ćevapi are some of the best, hands down, outside of Bosnia. (And I'm Bosnian so that says a lot!) They are consistently good, too! I've never been disappointed with them. The pizza is also amazing. It has a really good crispy dough and they have suho meso (smoked meat) as a topping which you honestly can't get anywhere else. The pita (burek and cheese phyllo wrapped savory pastry) is underwhelming, though. I wish they made their own dough for these. It makes a world of difference. The phyllo dough makes it very inauthentic, and is always doughey and undercooked towards the center. That is definitely taking a shortcut with pita and I wouldn't recommend that. Another downside is how dirty the bathroom usually is. They really need to have a better cleaning schedule here. This is a big turn off. Other than that, service is good and the usuals are consistently tasty so I will keep coming back for it. Oh, and everything is HALAL! So, a big win there!

Came here for dinner and ordered a bunch of things to share. Cevapi -- delicious. I added all the condiments. I wanted a garlic component to it, like a sauce, so I added that to my leftovers and it was very tasty. The salad we ordered was also tasty. It was the Mediterranean salad. The pastry thing with spinach was good too. Sofra Urbana pizza was good too. Definitely want to come back again to try more.

Love it, outmost flavorful and filling. It's been awhile and here we are again. They don't have fountain drinks anymore but they have drinks in their drink fridge to choose from.

Saw the instagram post and my mouth started watering for the delicious food, we went there today for dinner, had the chicken ranch sandwich and the cevapi sandwich, both the service and foot rock, highly recommend it!

Great casual dinner spot. Went for dinner with some guys and i was excited to try halal Bosnian food for the first time. Overall the meal and experience were excellent. My friends are picky about their meat and the flavor in the Cevapi (Bosnian mini kabobs/sausage) was impressive to all of us and the bread with it was also fresh baked - this is the one dish to definitely try. We also had the Sofra Urbana Pizza and the beef prosciutto on this was also delicious. The Erko pizza and chicken wings we had were also good. Restaurant was clean and the owner was very friendly and kept the place open a little late since we were a larger group so we could enjoy and finish our meal. Will definitely be back to try again!

The place is pretty quaint with about two to three tables since I'm assuming it's mostly for people taking orders to-go. I had to look up the menu and have "Google" translate everything since I have no idea what everything is. I took the "Cevapi," which is like a pocket pita bread that you would find at the Olive Pit. The meat was really hot and not too chewy, but I wasn't too impressed with the bread, since it tasted a bit on the cold/"lukewarm" side, but the pickled veggies and onions were the BOMB!! Price is a bit up there for just a Cevapi for $10, but again, nothing to write home about.

Sofra Urbana is a true gem in Fountain Valley. I came here for the cevapi and it completely blew me away. I've had this dish in Croatia before, and somehow it was just as delicious--if not even better--right here. The meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, the bread was fresh and soft, and the accompaniments tied everything together beautifully. It brought me right back to my travels. Beyond the food, the whole experience was wonderful. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff could not have been friendlier or more attentive. You can tell they take pride in sharing authentic Balkan cuisine. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot on, and everything feels homemade with care. I've heard rave reviews about their burek, stuffed peppers, and desserts, and after this visit I can't wait to come back and try more. Sofra Urbana is the kind of place that makes you want to bring your friends and family so they can experience it too. If you're anywhere near Fountain Valley, do yourself a favor and stop by. This is hands down some of the best, most authentic food you'll find in Orange County. Highly recommend

10 piece cevapi 9/10 As a Middle Easterner, I'm someone who prides themself in knowing a little something, something about spices in food. I never imagined European food could taste so good! This Bosnian/Albanian restaurant serves something you've never heard of but need to try: cevapi (pronounced chevapi) What I can only describe as explosively flavorful mini Kabobs, served in fresh baked warm bread, accompanied by a side of a mayonnaise like cream sauce with a non-spicy tomato salsa, cilantro, and red onions. The kebabs himself taste like a combination of ground beef, spices, and I suspected cilantro . The only thing missing was a little bit of spice, but I'm sure on my next visit. I can ask for a little pepper sauce. This is such a satisfying dish that I am willing to pay nearly $20 for the larger 10 piece cevapi sandwich. That time I didn't get the pizza, but I'm sure it was delicious . I'll be sure to try it again next time Try cevapi!

We've been craving cevapi since we visited Croatia last July and this place did not disappoint! Admittedly was better than the stuff we had over there. Service is also extremely friendly and the restaurant has a super cozy vibe. Will absolutely be returning!!

Went there with my Bosnian buddy Sid right after the World Cup game with my Swiss jersey still on and was still welcomed :) and served a delicious dry meat/mushroom pizza and some other Bosnian specialties all super good.

I had Bosnian pizza for the first time today! I'm a gluten free guy and I've tried all the gf pizza available in OC. One of my new friends took me to get gf pizza and everything was delicious. You'll have to take my word for it, but you can taste the quality. The restaurant is charming with an urban vibe. Sofra Urbana Pizza Grill has amazing service and food. I'll definitely be going back soon!

Do the staffs wear face masks and gloves when handling the food orders?

As far as I have noticed, they do. I have visited them many times during the pandemic and they have always been considerate of the situation

Is the meat Zabiha Halal ( hand slaughtered meat) ? Please advise.

When I was there, I remember seeing that it stated halal on the menu, so I believe yes.

I happened to be in the Fountain Valley yesterday afternoon and had a hankering for some good Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food. I wasn't even hungry at the time but thought, what the heck? They paint or squirt on a selection of house sauces such as hummus, tahini, garlic mayo, hot sauce, yogurt...and I think I'm leaving a few out. You pick and choose which ones you want on your handmade creation. They also offer tomatoes, onions, lettuce, cucumbers, cabbage and a spicy pickle concoction. I went around the world and had some of each. The hot sauce and pickles were the standout and definitely kicked it up a notch. Let me tell you, it's a FLAVOR BOMB. Super delicious with fresh high quality ingredients. The staff is very nice too and I even got a piece of baklava ($1.50) on the way out the door. We went last night to celebrate a birthday and from the moment we pulled up I noted things were different. Ad's on the windows gone a few of the interior decorations gone and most evident was Mom and her son weren't there. I don't know the lady's name but she's been there for decades working her butt off. And I've watched her son grow into a man with his own kids. Mom, as I'll refer to her, was always so nice and welcoming. Her food was good and she made the best baklava I have ever had! Anyway, the place has changed hands. I'm bummed I didn't get a chance to say bye and I hope that things ended well, on their terms, and that Mom enjoys a long healthy well deserved retirement. Thank you so much for the wonderful food and memories. May God bless you and your family. As for the new owners, they seemed to be working hard and looked to be trying to keep things similar. I frequent the buffer and was glad to see the kufta, ground seasoned meat sticks in tomato sauce, still there. The shape was a little off. No green beans though! They were so good together. Their lentil soup was much different and totally blended smooth. Not bad, but I don't care for the consistency, the old way was much better. The chicken and rice soup was still there, all be it a bit watered down but good. Pizza at the buffet was alright. I didn't care for the pita bread with cheese and peperoni, it was kinda weak (this was not lamajun). All in all, it was alright and I'm sure I'll go back to see how they do. It's still a decently priced buffet. I do wish the new owners well and hope they try and keep some of the old recipes.

As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by a friendly cashier who took my order and kindly asked if I wanted anything else. I decided to keep it simple and ordered a half-and-half buila-your-own pızza. While waiting. I noticed several awards displayed on the wall, including "Best of 2026" and "Best of 2025" from Business Rate. It's clear this place has earned a strong reputation, with customers praising everything from their Mediterranean buffet to their pizza and chicken. The menu offers much more than just pizza. They serve a variety of Turkish dishes such as Adana kebab plates, doner plates or wraps, meatball plates, lentil soup, chicken soup, and both half and whole roasted chicken meals. They also offer Turkish tea, desserts like baklava and Hira, soft drinks, and refreshing house-made lemonade. One thing that really sets them apart from other Turkish restaurants is their freshly made daily lahmacun--a Armenian & Turkish-style pizza topped with seasoned minced beef. Their garlic sauce is another standout-it's rich, smooth, and complements the food perfectly without being overpowering. It's definitely a must-try addition to any order. Moonlight Pizza & Chicken also offers catering, takeout, and delivery through Uber Eats and DoorDash, along with dine-in options and accommodations for larger events. Their prices are reasonable compared to other Mediterranean restaurants, making it an even better value. If you enjoy Turkish or Mediterranean food, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It has quickly become one of my go-to spots, and I'm already looking forward to going back and exploring more of the menu.
