"All of our food is good".... And he wasn't wrong. Main guy working, believe his name was Amir, was welcoming from the get go. He recommended a few dishes, and we got a few of them, including the hummus, shirazi salad, lamb chops and beef koobideh. Everything was great, food-wise. Note, this is a Persian place, so their hummus is inherently going to be less acidic, but all the meat was cooked perfectly, salad was one of the best we've had, portions were big, and the service was amazing. I highly recommend this Mediterranean restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Lamb Shank that came with a green rice and a small salad which you can request or you can have all rice. The lamb fell off the bone and it came with a whole clove of cooked garlic that I loved being a garlic lover. They also have a garlic sauce that is to die for. I tried this place out on a whim for a lunch break and the food was great and I enjoyed what I ate. Normally I'm used to Mediterranean food being overcooked especially when it comes to chicken, but their chicken tender from the plate I ordered was really moist and the flavoring and seasoning was just right that I didn't need to sauce it out even though it was there on the side. Our server was really nice and attentive as well. The inside of the restaurant is really nice and enjoy the option to eat out at the balcony facing the lively intersection of Magnolia St and Trask Ave. Although the parking is probably hogged up by the car shop, you can find parking out on the north side of Magnolia St along the right side facing northbound. The point where the fire lane ends is not far from the restaurant and the walk to the restaurant is doable. If you're worried about battling the northbound traffic of Magnolia to get out of your car, you can drive a bit further and park in the nearby neighborhood. I got marked up pictures showing you where you can go. It'd be a five minute walk if you were to park in the neighborhood. My suggestion is to come in from the South side going northbound of Magnolia St. or come in from the East side going westbound from Trask Ave. But yeah to the folks that work out here in Garden Grove, you should give this place a try during your lunch break . Saw this on yelp and had to try it. The food was amazing, the service was great and its ambiance was wonderful. Food= we had 2 different lunch specials. The first one was the Beef Koobideh. It was delicious! From the saffron rice to the roasted tomato and its scrumptious beef. The second one was Fesenjan. Its tanginess from the pomegranate to its very subtle nutty flavor from the walnuts was perfect. We also had an appetizer: Maust Khiar with a basket of flat bread. So good. Last but not least dessert: I forgot the name but it had a flaky dough with pistachios it wasn't Baklava but almost similar. The best part was the service. They were all nice and took the time to have a conversation with us. They made sure we were comfortable. It was somewhat cold in the restaurant only because some customers were leaving the door open.
