As a native New Yorker who relocated to the Canton area, I've tried my fair share of awesome bagels. The water might be different down here but Soho Bagel is the closest thing to "Yankee water" based bagels I've found. The cheddar bagels are dee-freakin-licious. Every once in a while they have half-off specials on their bagels and my parents and I can't wait to eat them for every meal (almost!) Now, on to the most important thing you need to know about Soho Bagel...write this down if you have to...THE CHINA TOWN CHICKEN SANDWICH. I dream about eating this sandwich sometimes and when I moved back here 2 months ago it was the first thing I wanted to eat to welcome me back to Georgia. So you're probably thinking, what's so special, right? Well picture this: delicious homemade chicken salad, not too heavy on the mayo with no obscene chunks of veggies, thinly sliced tomatos, red onions, a little bit of lettuce (I think) and the most amazing asian sesame sauce I've ever tasted. I could probably eat that sauce on everything from chicken to pancakes it's that good. Put all that deliciousness on one of their fantastic bagels and you're in foodie heaven. Don't forget it...CHINA TOWN CHICKEN SANDWICH. You can thank me later :-) Should you not be a fan of chicken salad, their other deli sandwiches are also great and fresh. I've been going to SoHo for around 10 years and must say it's a authentic New York Bagel shop. From the great food cooking on a small griddle to the owner, very New York. Bagels, donuts and coffee made fresh everyday onsite, great stuff..great food.. Stop by and give SoHo a try, you'll be happy. read more

Not great customer service, when you have to buy $60 in bagels and they nickel and dime you for one thing of spread for $2? Last time I checked Einstein was better and they gave you four to six with it....bad attitude killed it for me also. Don't go back since I discovered BB's. read more

The bagels are delicious. There is usually s wait do be prepared! My favorite is the everything with veggie cream cheese. There is fresh veggies in it and it is delicious. The multigrain bagel also rocks. I never would have thought I would like it, but I do. It is also my kids favorite. read more

This place needs to clean up their act. They made my sandwich with one glove and one bare dirty hand. Then after politely asking for them to remake it since they didn't wear a glove on both hands, they rudely made me another one but guess what??? With only one glove while their dirty bare hand smashes my bread down and sprinkles lettuce! Gross! I guess they don't understand the concept of wearing gloves on BOTH hands. Like I want one clean hand and one dirty hand. And they had just worked the cash register handling money etc..I won't be back at this place. They didn't even apologize and I have been a good customer. I hope the health inspector comes in. read more

Terrific bagels, but they need to have more stock of bagels, they always run out - especially weekends. I had a cinnamon raisin today because that was all that was remaining. Customers came in for a lunch @12:30 for a sandwich, but had to leave, as they had no bagels remaining except cinnamon or blueberry. So, for 2-1/2 hours they virtually had not much to sell! Owners - take NOTE OF THIS! Increase your supply.......we really like your product, but we need it available when we come to dine! read more

The bagels are amazing, and definitely as good as any in a New York Deli, but the other foods are...eh. Employees don't wash their hands as often as they should, and I do not recommend any of the salads (egg, tuna, chicken). Salads are kept for several days, and employees have in the past mixed these salads by hand without gloves. When gloves are used, they are not changed between meat and vegetable orders, or even between foods likely to cause allergic reactions (peppers, tomatoes) to cut down on costs. Do not order the lite cream cheese. It is regular cream cheese (because the lite is "too expensive") spread a little thinner. Back areas are extremely unorganized, messy, particularly cabinet and freezer areas. Employees are encouraged to skimp on my expensive items and to "give customers exactly what they order" (when it means they are being charged more for a sandwich that could be ordered under a different name for less). Employees are also told to not change gloves too much because they are expensive. Stick with the bagels and the backed goods, avoid the salads and some of the sandwiches. read more

I was excited to try this place after seeing good reviews. I drove there ordered my bagel, got home and took a bite out of it and had HAIR in my mouth. I had to drive all the way there again to get my money back. They offered to make another one for me but after getting hair in my mouth I lost my appetite. I won't ever be back to this place. About the only place in town to get fresh bagels (1 star for that). Otherwise, we wouldn't still be going because of horrible customer service... even manager is rude when wrong orders are politely brought to her attention. It feels like you're bothering them with your bagel orders.
