Solid 2 stars though it has the potential for much more. Waitress was good, though the host sat a party of 6 right next to my wife and me even though the entire restaurant was wide open. I don't blame a construction crew for being loud (I've been loud myself out with the guys), but really? MIT could've easily made the experience much more enjoyable to have some distance and privacy. Food was okay - I ordered the Vaca Frita at the recommendation of the waitress. It wasn't "crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside," it was stringy and tough. It was too long between being served and the waitress showing up again to replace it since my wife was almost finished with her Cuban Sandwich (too much. I stare and too little meat). The rice and beans were excellent and the fried plantains were hot and tasty. I desperately wanted to like this restaurant since I don't fly to Miami any more. Having looked over the website and FB pages, it appears they focus more on the bar scene than the restaurant side of business. Oh well. I may try again.

We took a chance because I was craving Cuban food. The place is clean and pristine when you walk in. We were initially the only ones dining. The booth was comfy. The menu was more drinks than food but the selection didn't disappoint. Whole my hubby opted for a sandwich (Ropa Vieja), I ordered 3 selections from the tapas menu: Black Bean Soup, Empanadas, and's Ham Croquettes. All of it was outstanding! The croquettes are made fresh in house- the inside consistency is minced ham and whatever other deliciousness goes in there. The dipping sauce was a perfect match. The empanadas were large- I only had enough appetite to try one- chicken- and it was wonderful. The crust was flaky and not too heavy. The black bean soup was remarkable as well- and HUGE! If you're a person who sadly has the anti-cilantro gene, fear not, the cilantro, onions, and cream are on the side. There was salsa music playing and I foot danced throughout lunch. I'd love to come back on the weekends when they have live music. The dance floor is massive! Our server was attentive and friendly. The only part that was a little meh was the bathroom stall doors. Not a big deal. Everything else was perfect! We'll be back!

I was so excited to have a Cuban restaurant nearby! We love Papi's, LaCubana & Cuban food in general. I'm certain we've tried most Cuban places within a 30 mile radius & I've been to this restaurant about 6-7 times before today with little to no issue. To start - we walked in and got seated at a booth. My husband noticed that crayon was on the wall and made a joke about it. The waiter offered to move us to which we readily declined because it was no big deal at all - simply a harmless observation. However the waiter stated twice, "I'm not talking about that" and we quickly noticed there was a ROACH on the table near the salt and pepper shakers. We then agreed to move to a different seat. That really should have been a sign to leave, but it's summer and bugs can happen. Next, we get ceviche with the most stale plantains I've tasted. When I mentioned it to the waiter, he apparently told the chef who retorted that the plantains were made "today". Today, yesterday, a minute ago - they were not good - especially considering it's apart of a $17 appetizer. I've also ordered this dish every time I've gone and they've never tasted this way. Finally, I've been trying to order the correct green sauce here since first trying this restaurant not too long ago. I've been able to easily access it at other restaurants by simply calling it "green sauce", but apparently they have multiple green sauces and it's never quite the one I want. That's not their fault though, it could be just I don't know the "official" name. What WAS irritating though is to be charged $1 apiece for a small contain of sauce - which of course is not similar to what I wanted at all. Our bill was roughly $80 bucks for the two of us and I was actually here less than a week ago with a friend. With the roach, lackluster response to serving stale chips, and pricy sauce that is given for free as a side with your order (especially when paying $80), I found the experience today disappointing and can not recommend, particularly when there's other Cuban restaurants that are much better all around.

Loved it! Great chicken empanadas and ropa vieja sandwich. Cuban cocktails were great too. Keep up the fire!

The menu holds all the delicious secretes to dinning here. Read through it and choose wisely.

Cuban food with a side of dance lessons please! Saturday are the best times ( evening) to come out and dine at D'Floridian. They have a DJ and salsas lessons, highlight of the night working on your dance moves. No worries everyone's a beginner here and it's fun!!! The servers are wonderful too, so friendly and excellent with the menu selections. Just ask and the will provide any sauces, seasonings or alternative sides. The food is very authentic and Cuban. Your taste buds will remember each bite. Do yourself a favor start with the appetizers and work your way slowly through to the entrees. When your finished with your meal and cocktails dive into the Cuban coffee and desserts. Then hop on the dance floor and show off your dance moves. Enjoy the night dancing off your meal. We enjoyed every morsel they served, I won't give too much more away. Come on by some nights and brings some friends the restaurant makes you feel like your truly are in Cuban on a warm salty night. Only thing missing is a bourbon and a cigar. We plan on coming back we have to bring more friends!!!!!

This is a must if you're looking for a warm and wonderful lunch or dinner experience. Wife and I visited one afternoon and was met with wonderful service. We sat at the bar that particular day. Ordered up some steak and a few apps which were wonderful. Followed back on Friday evening after hearing about a live band and will certainly become a regular thing for us when possible; overall decor is very welcome warm and reflects the Cuban vibe one would think of.

We took our Spanish classes from middle school here for a field trip. We had just learned about Cuba and Jaime the owner was amazing and the entire restaurant was ready for us and received us with a warm welcome. We had a wonderful lunch and the service was amazing!!! The kids were very happy and loved the food! We will be back next semester for sure! :) -Vanessa P

I'm a sandwich fanatic and this is one of the best sandwich shops I've been to in Georgia…read more I got the chicken parm sandwich and added pesto to it with a side of vodka sauce. You can choose between marinara or vodka sauce for the sub which I thought was great option to customers. The quality of the sub was phenomenal. The chicken cutlets had great flavor and were made with quality chicken. You didn't bite into the meat and experience any weird textures. The vodka sauce had bold flavor and the melted mozzarella paired with the pesto was impressive. The pesto did not have nuts. I would order an extra side of vodka sauce- it was not a dry sandwich at all but the sauce allowed for dipping and elevated the meal. The sesame bread was toasted but still soft and didn't scrape the roof of your mouth. You place the order on screens but there is very friendly staff there to answer any questions. They also had a deli bar with pasta salad, potato salad, chicken salad, etc. that looked great. I didn't try them tho. They have seating available but it's nothing crazy. Definitely a fast casual restaurant with quality subs!

But this is a family place and a great option for the GF community. We will definitely be back! Just so you know...the chicken tenders, fried pickles and onion rings can be GF but are NOT dairy free. The fries and buns are GF and DF. MY only note we went on a Saturday and the bathroom floors were sticky and the booths needed a better wipe down. The service was very good. Very polite and attentive. As an aside, I have to say that wanting a tip for just making sandwiches, is annoying. Anyway, I wound up tipping 10%,which was about $3.50. It's crazy how the prices jumped! $7.99 for a mini, which is 4 inches long. I got an Italian sub and got the small size for $10.99! And that's without even a pickle to keep it company! My husband ordered a tuna sub, a medium for $11.99! And an order of fries for $3.99. The fries were delicious, crispy and hot, right out of the fryer. The meat on my sub was indistinguishable. The place was hopping with both dine-in and take-out orders, but there was an employee hustling to clean the tables on this Friday about 1PM. I managed to find a clean table and filled my cup while waiting (they have a Pepsi fountain machine). To sample a couple of different sandwiches I got a small Chicken Chipotle Crunch and small Grilled Italian with a side of fries. I should have gone with mini as small is quite generous and filling (see pictures). I liked the fried onions in the Chicken Chipoltle Crunch and most of the favor came from the sauce. The tomatoes on both sandwiches were a bit too pale and tasted watery. The Grilled Italian was definitely the more flavorful of the two with great seasoning on the meats. The bread was nice and soft. The side of fries were of the coated variety and were fresh, hot, and crisp with the breading having a great seasoning. All the hard surfaces and glass windows made for quite the echo chamber, and even with half the tables occupied the noise level was quite considerable. There is a variety of seating with bar, booth, and table (different sizes).
