This is a cute spot! We went on Saturday for dinner & they had a love babd & dance floor so we danced while we ate :) Their mojitos are very strong, $12 & they said they equate to 3 shots so 1 & you're good, esoecially for $12. We ordered the mixed seafood ceviche, which was very delicious and a huge plate for two, as well as the calamari. Those two were honestly filling for the two of us. The calamari was made great as well, it was not overly tough and the batter was great and it comes with two different sauces to dip it in. The ceviche came with a lot of seafood and fried platanos to accompany it. The service was great and the overall vibe in there was fun. This is a cute date spot if you want something chill but want to dance, great for double dates too. We will definitely be back, especially for the Mojitos :D read more

Solid 2 stars though it has the potential for much more. Waitress was good, though the host sat a party of 6 right next to my wife and me even though the entire restaurant was wide open. I don't blame a construction crew for being loud (I've been loud myself out with the guys), but really? MIT could've easily made the experience much more enjoyable to have some distance and privacy. Food was okay - I ordered the Vaca Frita at the recommendation of the waitress. It wasn't "crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside," it was stringy and tough. It was too long between being served and the waitress showing up again to replace it since my wife was almost finished with her Cuban Sandwich (too much. I stare and too little meat). The rice and beans were excellent and the fried plantains were hot and tasty. I desperately wanted to like this restaurant since I don't fly to Miami any more. Having looked over the website and FB pages, it appears they focus more on the bar scene than the restaurant side of business. Oh well. I may try again. read more

Went on a Friday night at 7:30 PM. A band came on stage at 8:30 PM and we were charged five dollars for the live music. We left a few minutes later so I don't understand why they would charge us for music. Got the Empanizado dinner. The steak was too chewy and hard to eat. Rice, beans and plantains were OK though. Appetizer was guacamole with plantain chips. The plantain chips were too hard to eat so we just ate the guacamole. Had churros for dessert which were fine. Maybe would go back again, but try something different to eat. Service was good and everyone was very friendly. Had a house margarita which was also good. read more

The food here is very good, and this is coming from a person who doesn't really like Cuban. I ordered some fried calamari, the sauces were very nice, they paired very well with the calamari. We took a chance because I was craving Cuban food. The place is clean and pristine when you walk in. We were initially the only ones dining. The booth was comfy. The menu was more drinks than food but the selection didn't disappoint. Whole my hubby opted for a sandwich (Ropa Vieja), I ordered 3 selections from the tapas menu: Black Bean Soup, Empanadas, and's Ham Croquettes. All of it was outstanding! The croquettes are made fresh in house- the inside consistency is minced ham and whatever other deliciousness goes in there. The dipping sauce was a perfect match. The empanadas were large- I only had enough appetite to try one- chicken- and it was wonderful. The crust was flaky and not too heavy. The black bean soup was remarkable as well- and HUGE! If you're a person who sadly has the anti-cilantro gene, fear not, the cilantro, onions, and cream are on the side. There was salsa music playing and I foot danced throughout lunch. I'd love to come back on the weekends when they have live music. The dance floor is massive! Our server was attentive and friendly. The only part that was a little meh was the bathroom stall doors. We went here Friday evening for a friend's event. The ambiance was great and the service was amazing. However the food was less desirable. I had the Oxtail stew with yellow rice and black beans. My daughter had the same. It consisted of 4 bones with very little meat on it. My husband said it's in the stew but it was not. This was very disappointing because my daughters had came years ago with a friend and the oxtails we beefy and very good. I'm not sure what has changed but what they are serving now was not worth 22.00 a plate. My other daughter had the Calamari and it was tasteless. We were very disappointed in the food. My husband had the Salmon dish and he enjoyed that. My friend also had it and enjoyed it. She also likes the plantains. read more

This has become the spot for dinner and dancing on Saturday nights. Some of the appetizers need some tweaking, but all my mojitos were on point and the music was good. I was so excited to have a Cuban restaurant nearby! We love Papi's, LaCubana & Cuban food in general. I'm certain we've tried most Cuban places within a 30 mile radius & I've been to this restaurant about 6-7 times before today with little to no issue. To start - we walked in and got seated at a booth. My husband noticed that crayon was on the wall and made a joke about it. The waiter offered to move us to which we readily declined because it was no big deal at all - simply a harmless observation. However the waiter stated twice, "I'm not talking about that" and we quickly noticed there was a ROACH on the table near the salt and pepper shakers. We then agreed to move to a different seat. That really should have been a sign to leave, but it's summer and bugs can happen. Next, we get ceviche with the most stale plantains I've tasted. When I mentioned it to the waiter, he apparently told the chef who retorted that the plantains were made "today". Today, yesterday, a minute ago - they were not good - especially considering it's apart of a $17 appetizer. I've also ordered this dish every time I've gone and they've never tasted this way. Finally, I've been trying to order the correct green sauce here since first trying this restaurant not too long ago. I've been able to easily access it at other restaurants by simply calling it "green sauce", but apparently they have multiple green sauces and it's never quite the one I want. That's not their fault though, it could be just I don't know the "official" name. What WAS irritating though is to be charged $1 apiece for a small contain of sauce - which of course is not similar to what I wanted at all. Our bill was roughly $80 bucks for the two of us and I was actually here less than a week ago with a friend. With the roach, lackluster response to serving stale chips, and pricy sauce that is given for free as a side with your order (especially when paying $80), I found the experience today disappointing and can not recommend, particularly when there's other Cuban restaurants that are much better all around. read more

Cuban food with a side of dance lessons please! Saturday are the best times ( evening) to come out and dine at D'Floridian. They have a DJ and salsas lessons, highlight of the night working on your dance moves. No worries everyone's a beginner here and it's fun!!! The servers are wonderful too, so friendly and excellent with the menu selections. Just ask and the will provide any sauces, seasonings or alternative sides. The food is very authentic and Cuban. Your taste buds will remember each bite. Do yourself a favor start with the appetizers and work your way slowly through to the entrees. When your finished with your meal and cocktails dive into the Cuban coffee and desserts. Then hop on the dance floor and show off your dance moves. Enjoy the night dancing off your meal. We enjoyed every morsel they served, I won't give too much more away. Come on by some nights and brings some friends the restaurant makes you feel like your truly are in Cuban on a warm salty night. I had the chance to try out the newly opened D'Floridian last week. I always look at the reviews before going and they were pretty inconsistent. But went in with an open mind. Maybe because they just opened and we're getting some things worked out. A very modern upbeat setting with a good vibe when entering. I just loved the art work and decor. A true depiction of Cuba. The cocktails were amazingly delicious. All their flavored alcohol is infused right there in house with fresh ingredients. Yum! I'm not an expert on Cuban cuisine but it was all deliciously tasty. The Cuban sandwich (Authentic)was fresh and amazing. Garlic Shrimp appetizer, I could have made a meal. Guajillo peppers, Spanish olive oil, toasted garlic bread and parsley. They were delicious. And the Vaca Frita melts in your mouth. Tender "pulled" flank steak, sautéed with onions, garlic, and Cuban spices. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Served with white rice, black beans, and ripe plantain slices. Oh my, and the dessert. Churros, again I'm not an expert but was truly heaven on earth! All in all a very good experience. The servers were delightful and eager to explain all the entrees and answer any questions. They checked on you throughout your meal and didn't rush or delay the food. I recently dined at D'Floridian, a hidden gem in Woodstock From the moment I walked in, I was very surprised. From outside it looks like a little hole in the wall, but it is a spacious and very clean dining room. I love the open floor plan and stage for live music. This great restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere and exceptional customer service and more importantly a variety of Cuban dishes and Tapas that left me craving more. The Cuban sandwiches are flavorful with generous portions of pork and you can order it with fries or with black beans and rice (both options were excellent). We also had the ropa vieja sandwich, which was just as good. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem. I can't wait to return and try something else and maybe enjoy some live music. read more

Managaer was very nice but unfortunately every time we go to this place, something unpleasant happens. One time, the bartender wiped her nose and then made my drink. Today, we were the only customers, and they brought out my order but forgot my husband's. I finished my meal before his even arrived, even though we ordered the same thing. On top of that, I saw that the bartender sneezed without covering her face. This place clearly doesn't care about cleanliness or getting things right. Bright and spacious dinning area. Friday nights they have live band. Server was fantastic, drinks refilled before they were empty. Ceviche was spot on. I had the shrimp and fish mixed. I would advise you eat the protein with the tomatoes and onions with the lime marinade. This adds the perfect amount of salt and acidity. Churrasco steak cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is a wide open commercial type space. Brightly lit. Good for groups. Not 1 to 1 or small group. It's very loud but you could still have conversations. When I band starts it's really loud. I was excited about the food since I like Cuban food I ordered the Ropa Viea. A lot of food for the money BUT the meat was tough and chewy. The taste was good. But the texture not so much. I brought home 1/2. Will blast it in my insta pot to make it edible. Service was good. People were nice. Would I go back maybe only with a group. Beautiful restaurant as they've remodeled the building to have a classy vibe. Nice and bright inside with a lot of white and welcoming vibes. A decent amount of seating along with a bar available. The staff was extremely busy and working very hard while running around so we had to ask a few times we needed something, but that's okay. We tried the mango salmon (tasty but needed a little more spice), the grilled chicken (great flavor), black beans (yum!) and the ham and cheese sandwich (very good!). They also have a homemade hot sauce that's worth trying! We heard a lot of high praise before coming in to try this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The only thing that was slightly frustrating is the menu on their Facebook page has incorrect pricing on some items, they were more expensive at the restaurant so that definitely needs an update. read more

I haven't eaten a ton of Cuban in my life but this one is great. Cubano is a winner for sure and all the apps are great. I'd recommend going with friends and trying 3-4 things together. This Cuban restaurant is a gem. I've been twice and both times service, food and atmosphere has been perfect. The restaurant is never crowded and there is plenty of parking. It's in the Publix shopping center along with several other food options but this is my top pick. I've had several dishes including the empanadas which were perfectly cooked and seasoned correctly. The black beans and rice are excellent. Probably the best black beans and rice in town. The waiters are always attentive and welcoming. My food is always seasoned perfectly. Anytime you can get authentic Cuban food in Georgia is a blessing and D'Floridian came through! The exterior is a pop of class in a basic shopping center. The restaurant is authentically styled with elegance. We started with the yuca frita fries, which was paired with an avocado sauce that paired well. I ordered the Vaca Frita and my man ordered the Authentic Cuban "Cuban sandwich". For a picky eater, my boyfriend ate most of his sandwich if that doesn't say enough. The Vaca Frita was exactly what I was seeking out in a Cuban restaurant so far from home. The service was speedy and friendly as well for the perfect experience. Our server was on his game holding down multiple tables and bartending. I hope to see this place last because good food like this is hard to find! read more
