The food was awful. Salty with no taste. What kind of nachos come without sour cream but loaded with olives. They were barely warm chips with stuff just dumped on it and barely any cheese. Sliders were dry and salty. Even the fries were salty (more than fries should be) and luke warm. Our waitress was very nice that's the only positive I found here. I recognize this place is more of a bar than a restaurant but still. Also there were all kinds of like flashing lights and moving LED strips at 5pm. Weird. read more

Booked a reservation here last Friday PM before we were going to a concert across the street. When we arrived, the maitre'd first asked if we had a reservation (even before saying hello). After confirming that we did indeed have a res, he said he could "maybe" get us a table. He did indeed have a table, but asked us to "be patient". We were seated for ~20 minutes without any attention at all. Decided to ask the couple next to us how long they had been waiting - an hour. First time visiting tonight. Very nice, relaxing, top notch atmosphere. Great decor, as my wife said, it was a nice blend of a modern style with classic Manchester. Bricks blended well with hardwood floors, for instance. Lots of open space. Staff was very friendly, legitimately nice people. Food came quickly. We ordered lobster rangoon appetizer, very good. Black and blue burger I had was great, fries included. Ketchup was really good. Server told us it was homemade, possibly had honey in it. Wife ordered French onion soup and a Caesar salad. Loved it. No one was at the door when I arrived to take a GrubHub order, went to the bar and bartender nicely said 10 mins but no one else had a uniform on so didn't know who actually worked there. Two girls walked by me never said anything and finally a lady walked by and asked if I was waiting for doordash and I said no GrubHub and she comes back saying oh door dash is 10 mins but grub hub is another 30 mins!!! The manager was the rudest person I've ever encountered at a restaurant or bar. Myself and some friends wanted to come here for a couple of drinks and we didn't even get through the manager checking our ID before deciding to leave. He was very rude and disrespectful. This was our second visit to Soho Bistro to which both my wife and I can only describe as a little "hidden gem". We arrived shortly after 5:00 and were greeted and seated quickly. They offered great drink specials, all draft beers were only $3, and $5 mojitos, mules, and margaritas, and to go along with this, we had another spectrum coupon, purchase one entree a a second entree free, wow, what a great deal! All of the kitchen, bar and wait staff including the the head chef, Monica, DJ Tim and owner Chloe were very courteous, friendly and attentive, service was fantastic, and the food was simply outstanding. As it was a bit of a cold evening, we decided to dine inside, although we did take take a stroll outside to the patio area after dinner and we're extremely impressed with the inviting and warm atmosphere and what a wonderful gathering place for family and friends. This was hands down the worst dining experience ever. Went last night before a concert at the SNHU arena. Place was pretty quiet but had a few people at the bar inside so we grabbed two seats. Waited ten minutes for someone to acknowledge us. Ordered two draft beers. Had to ask for food menus only to be told "We are only doing appetizers". Okay cool no problem. Ordered nachos and chicken fingers. Waited almost an hour for them to be brought out, while we watched people who came in after us get served their food. Nachos came out with coagulated cheese and were ice cold. Absolutely inedible. Sent them back immediately. Chicken fingers were so dry and disgusting we took two bites and asked for the check. The bartender had to ask us what we ordered for beers because he never recorded it. They took the nachos off the bill thankfully, but we truly shouldn't have had to pay for any of the food it was so disgusting. On top of the awful food and pathetically slow service.. there were 3 bartenders wandering around the bar who looked absolutely clueless as to what was going on. Nobody was communicating, everyone was complaining about how backed up the kitchen was (not sure how it could be so backed up with 12 customers in the whole place, but okay?!). Super unprofessional. There was a male employee who looked like he kind of did odd jobs around the the restaurant.. he was emptying trash and kind of just walking around. Not really a problem until I watched him walk into the kitchen multiple times with athletic slide sandals on his feet. Not only is that absolutely gag worthy to have essentially bare feet in a kitchen walking around food.. but definitely has to be some sort of a health code violation. I've tried almost every dish on the menu and some dishes that aren't on the menu. Most dishes were delicious and none were not good. I was surprised that I loved the scalloped potatoes, because I've never really liked them anywhere else. The place is very nice and much cleaner than it was under the previous owners. Staff is friendly, and the DJs usually take song requests. The dance floor has been clean enough that I've been able to wear my suede bottomed dance shoes without messing them up. read more

I ended up walking around downtown Manchester and found this very unique building called Soho bistro and lounge. The atmosphere is really incredible. The food was everything I wanted. Was recently given a coupon by a nice man in a Red Sox hat to try this place out, boy am I glad I ran into him. Soho Bistro and Lounge is officially my new favorite restaurant in the Manchester area, maybe even favorite anywhere. I got the Nachos with beef and Steak Tips and they were perfect. My wife and I visited Soho for dinner recently. We had never been there before and really had no idea what to expect. We were a little apprehensive since it is located in the club area and not really in the restaurant district. There was no reason for concern. The drinks were well made as were the appetizers. After enjoying the start to the meal we waited for the entrees. My wife tried the vegetable risotto. It needed a little salt, but was otherwise delightful and tasted very fresh. I opted for the roasted chicken which came with fingerling potatoes, spinach and mushrooms. It was very good and the sides were the perfect garnish for the protein. The portions were so generous, we could not finish the dishes which was perfect since we were able to take them with us for lunch the next day. After enjoying the offerings, we had to try dessert. We shared the banana cheesecake spring rolls. These were delightful and perfect for sharing. We truly enjoyed our visit and will be back. Don't let the atypical location frighten you. The food is good, the service is excellent and the prices are very fair. read more

It was a terrible experience. I was so sad... I saw the menu and was so excited to try a few things. I checked their website saw that they close at 10 and made plans to get there at 8. I arrived about 15 minutes before my friend the place was empty oh, I thought that's fine! I sat at the bar to make it easier for the girl that look like she was by herself. Order to drink on their special menu 2 try it and it'd be terrible. It was nothing like the menu described so I asked her about that. She responded with that's my special touch I told her it was not good she didn't even offer to replace it. I then started by ordering a appetizer and letting her know that we would also ordered dinner to which she responded our kitchen closes at 9. I said I thought I saw that you're open till 10 she said no we are open till 9. It was 8:30 I assumed that they did not want the business. She proceeded to go to the other side of the bar to the gentleman that had come in who were "trades guys" she told them next week you should bring all your friends. My friend arrived at 8:15 got a drink I let her know and what had happened and we decided to go somewhere else to eat. Without another word from the waitress we paid our bill I tipped her a large $20 tip with no response and walked out. Me and my friends were at Soho and then we left to go to another bar but didn't like it and didn't get any drinks there so we walked back to soho. When we got there one of the bouncers singled me out and pulled me away from my group of friends and tried to make me stand on one foot to "sobriety test" me. I was in 5inch heels and couldn't stand on one foot for that reason. I even offered to walk in a straight line if it was so necessary. But the bouncer denied me and told my friends they could go in but I couldn't. Which is beyond me. It honestly seemed like they were trying to get me alone and Away from my friends. When we first arrived everything was super smooth... we were walked over to "our table" that our group paid for and we were having a great night but one hour in we were approached by a manager saying that we had to "merge" with another random table. Forcing us to carry our bottles that came with this table over to a group of strangers. When we told the manager that we did not feel comfortable sitting with a group of strangers we were left standing with our alcohol off to the side. Apparently this place SOLD OUR TABLE to give to a bigger party. After waiting for the manager to figure out where to place us we were sat at a 2 seater stool table. Planned a reservation in advance for my sisters birthday. Drinks were Messed up and took about an hour to get everybody's drinks to the table. Waitress only ask one half if table if we wanted apps and didn't ask anyone else just left. Once the other side got the app orders in the other half of the table was already done. We arrived at 530 pm on a Saturday night. I immediately thought the atmosphere was weird and somewhat dirty, The high top tables had cheap metal stools that looked super uncomfortable and they sat us at one of the lounge couches that had not been reupholstered since the old club days, ripped and stained. The lighting was super harsh and bright. I had a strawberry cosmo which was tasty as was the focaccia bread. My husband ordered the steak tips which was unevenly warm/cold and the meat undercooked. I ordered the lobster Rangoon which were just OK, not much lobster flavor at all. I also ordered a beet and goat cheese salad w salmon and the waiter came back to confirm which salad, I repeated the beet and goat cheese, and yet still was delivered the wrong salad, a greek salad. The greek salad that came was advertised as having grilled zucchini and artichoke, there were two tiny pieces of each. The salad had over-cooked salmon and so much feta I could hardly eat it. We waited a ridiculously long time for our check and for it to be collected. The waiter was obviously inexperienced and easily overwhelmed. Overall a huge disappointment and will not be returning, too many better options out there. read more
