I've always had a good time here with friends and colleagues after a long day of work! Remote is in Korean, so it's def helpful if you have some help or familiar with Hangul. Once you know how to navigate, you just have to explore. Food and snacks are pretty good. I appreciate having privacy of rooms and bathroom so you're not always having to open the door to go out. The last time I went, Lily helped us, and she was super cheerful :)) In the past, we had pitchers of water provided, so idk if it's complementary when there's a big group versus having to pay for water bottles when a smaller group. Lastly, someone said there's no BTS, but they actually have a large BTS selection inclusive of Korean and Japanese. Got too lit at this place with a group of ex-colleagues of mine. Has a pretty good selection of oldies and classics. Each room comes with a bathroom so you don't need to open the door as your single friend poorly belts Adele. Their remote is in Korean characters so be prepared to bring out Google translate. First time doing karaoke was great! They have a public bar/karaoke area which was empty when we came on a Sunday night so you could do karaoke there with a large party. $20 for a small private room (4 or less people), and$35/hr for larger private room with private bathroom (more than 4 people). I had a party of 6 so we had the larger room. They have a lot of throwback and current songs- American pop and kpop. The remote to pick the songs was hard to use because it was in Korean; I would have appreciated if a staff member had taken the time to explain how to operate the remote because it took a good 10 minutes for us to learn. He also didn't explain the mic cover slips that were for hygienic purposes (luckily someone in my party knew) or how to turn the volume of the music and microphone up or down. The room was very clean and had a fun atmosphere with its colorful moving lights in the dim room. I also really like that they provided tambourines. Also, the staff were very nice. Only downside is that the area this place is in is sketchy so I was afraid our cars would be broken into or something during our time inside. Staff was very rude. When we arrived they explained that in order to use the karaoke area we had to order food. We told the waitress we had just had dinner but we would open a tab for drinks but not food- we were just looking for a karaoke place. A few hours later they asked us to order more food because we had been there for 2 hours and our tab hadn't reached $150 (mind you, we were about to order 2 more rounds of drinks) Upset at this I asked why she was demanding for us to order food when there was a few other small parties (it was 13 of us) that had been there too for about the same time as us, but she came only to us. She just stuttered and kept saying we had to order more than $150 if we wanted to stay.... Upset at this, we asked for our tab and in fact we had spent $152. We went to a bar 10 min down the road and spent twice as much in a matter of an hour. We will definitely not go back. read more

This place sucked especially because the weirdo creepy "security" guy was annoying and off putting. He gave us weird compliments. There's no way to keep up with the time so they let you have fun and rack up the time so they get paid more. You know, it was Saturday night at 11pm- peak partying time. My friends and I decided karaoke was next up on our night out. I was worried I would not be able to find a decent karaoke place, but reserving a room here was super easy by calling the number, and we had our room as soon as we got there. This place was on Gessner near the Korean section of town, and there was plenty of parking that was monitored by cameras. Inside, there was a main bar area with public karaoke, and the private rooms were in the hallway. Let me tell you, I have never been to a karaoke with private bathrooms inside each private room, and that was definitely a hugeee plus. Also, I've never seen more clean restrooms in a karaoke place! And it was a private bathroom!! We never had to leave our room for anything. The microphones had sanitary covers on them. The couches were new. Song selection was excellent. They definitely kept their Korean selection updated to very recent songs! English selection had 95% of songs I was looking for. Unfortunately it isn't BYOB, but there was a decent selection of alcohol and food that you could order with a call button to have a server come into the room. It was the usual bar prices (around $15 for a bottle of soju, about $5-10 for appetizers and instant ramen etc). Honestly, I think I found my new go to spot for karaoke. I stayed until it closed at 2am, and my rate was $25/hr for the small room (with the private super clean bathroom!!!). I don't think you can beat this place for the price, cleanliness, food/drinks, and song selection. 10/10 would go again. read more

I have to say SoHo is the best karaoke experience I have experienced so far. Venue was clean, room temperature nice and cool, the large private room had private restroom inside the room, multiple TVs so everyone can see the screen, comfortable chairs, good variety drink options and food, service was attentive. As some mentioned, they do not have all the updated American songs, but I like that they have a good variety. There is American, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese etc. They are of course updated with the most recent Kpop songs. I still had a blast with my friends here and had plenty of songs to sing. Great value - hourly room rental price is very good. Drinks price is okay. Rooms are nice and spacious. Only problem was that the karaoke system is hard to navigate, especially if you don't read Korean. There also wasn't any newer songs, such as more recent kpop songs. Overall this bar was decent. There were some things that weren't to my liking but other things that made up for it. Even then, these issues are very minor and didn't stop us from having a great night. Location and parking: The karaoke bar is located in a little strip center with a washateria next door. It is rather dark at night when looking at it from the street but there were plenty of cars and people there. Karaoke room: The room we got was very spacious, had great a/c, and plenty of seating. There were also multiple screens so you can see the lyrics no matter where you're sitting. There were also plenty of microphones to go around (4). There was a giant old-school looking remote that controls their system; it wasn't difficult to use but there is a slight learning curve as most of the buttons are foreign (korean). The manager that helped us out was great though, more on that later. One minor complaint I have is that the song bank is not the most up to date. There are current songs but it's not like youtube where you can search up any song. Again, this is a super minor thing and it didn't stop us from having a great time. Drinks: Drinks were decently priced and the soju flavors were pretty tasty. The manager was very accommodating and super attentive since there was a call button in the room. The bottles aren't super expensive either. Service: Great service despite being what seemed like a busy night. Again, the manager was very attentive and answered all of our questions. He is a chill guy and helped make this a very positive experience. Definitely one of the better hosts of all the karaoke bars I've been to. read more

I saw this place driving past cuz i karoake all the time all over ktown. The instant we saw "karoake bar" , my friends and I had to check this place out soon. The outside seemed a little shady at first, but the inside is really legit. Good food. Nice selection for snacks as well as slightly heavier stuff from wings to ramen and dokbokki. Haven't tried their alcohol yet. Very clean and nice couches. Plenty of private rooms but the open karoake area has a really nice ambience. Sorta makes me want to sing open though I've traditionally lived closed. Double TV in the big rooms. They have the the TJ karoake system as well! The guy who helped us was really chill too. Straight up, we'll be coming here again. Update: Been in a couple of the big rooms now. Sorta different feels which is a nice change of pace and they both had this theme going on. This place is awesome! Came here for my birthday after reading all the good reviews and had a great time. We had a private room for 15. It was very spacious and clean and had a private bathroom. The karaoke system is top notch - good sound and music selection. The owner was very nice and explained how everything worked. There were tambourines too, which were fun. Drinks were very strong, and they have a lot of soju flavors. Grapefruit was the best! They gave us these free cracker snacks to munch on, but they sell food also. Though, the owner was very honest and said their kitchen was being renovated, and he didn't recommend people coming for the food. We just ordered fries and mozzarella sticks. He let us bring our own cake, which was very nice! They do have a main karaoke space by the bar if private rooms aren't your thing. Def coming back. Highly recommend! read more

They didnt clean up the room properly and there were bottle caps on the floor. About 30 min after being in the room, they came in to give us our food then saw the bottle caps on the floor.
