I don't know if this is NEW management or ownership, but this place went from unmentionable (nothing spectacular), to EXCELLENT! Prior to today, I thought there was only one place in New Milford to get a great slice... nope! Unlike the 'other' place, Bravo's has MORE than a few choices to choose from -- several actually! I ordered the Chicken n' Bacon which was nothing short of awesome. it tasted as though spices were actually added to the sauce or added to the pizza! Either way, it had a very homemade taste. Kinda thin, crispy and very flavorful! Planning to go back very soon and try the Meatlover's which looked amazing. If the new people see this, put a big sign on Rt. 7 that lists your awesome variety of slices! BTW, the inside is now very cute and accommodating if you wish to eat on the premises. Solid pizza! We ordered a Grandma's pie, a Chicken Parm grinder, and a regular pizza half cheese half pepperoni. Everything was pretty good. We ordered a Greek salad with chicken and a Philly cheese steak wrap. And both were honestly a 1 star rating. I'm giving it a 3 because of things we've gotten in the past. The chicken on the salad wasn't cooked for the salad, and the lettuce just wasn't great. The Philly cheese steak, was the most disgusting texture and greasy. In the past we've had great experiences. I'd also like to thank him for reading my other reviews, and gracing me with a response. Hopefully in doing so it has inspired him to avoid the mistakes other restaurant owners have made. But, that's doubtful. It seems his only reason for looking at user accounts is to try and bully them. Fortunate for me, his embarrassing and tired excuses for the poorly dressed, bland drek he brazingly charges money for didn't "woo" me over to recommend this place to anyone... ever. But instead he's left a completely unprofessional response that begs for critique: Nothing says professionalism more than a business owner bragging about the money that they spent on their restaurant - to a patron - as if his patrons owe him something for improving the curb appeal of his establishment. As a patron I feel the "tens of thousands of dollars" spent on signs and siding could have instead been spent on seasoning his eggplant, adding more cheese to pizza, getting a new sauce recipe, and taking classes on how to conduct himself as a responsible adult online. And as an aside, Bill, I eat at plenty of 4-5 star restaurants, but they don't need a glowing review from me because they are doing it RIGHT. Just say'n - if you don't know, now you know. read more

Just had a very unexpected pleasant experience at this establishment. I was driving hungry looking for a place to eat and decided to stop here. I was greeted very warmly and told my food would be 15 minutes. I decided to wait in my car for my food. In 15 minutes the gentleman walks out the door to my car food In hand! This place is great. I placed an order very late, right before they were going to close ( 4 large pizzas and their grilled chicken pasta) they made everything I ordered. It was hot and so yummy. The pizza has a thin crispy crust on the bottom and a crunchy chewy end crust. Their garlic knot they put on the top of each pizza is the bomb! The grilled chicken pasta was so delicious. The sauce was savory and a little sweet. It was just perfect. The chicken was cooked perfect. They were so kind and accommodating. UPDATE: I like the Sophia Loren pizza so much that I pick it up and they're so super nice in there that I feel bad about giving them 1 star for one bad night. I'm furious. If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered 3 pizzas for delivery at 7:20pm. The young lady who took my order said it would be 45 minutes. At 8:30, I called to ask if perhaps our delivery person was lost, the gentleman who answered the phone says he just left 15 minutes ago. It is now 9:23pm, 10 minutes ago I called again, pleasantly explained I had called before and was about to ask what was up with our order and THEY HUNG UP ON ME. I called right back and they would not answer the phone. They closed. Unfreakingbeliveable. This is no way to run a business. It's a shame because the pizza was pretty good the first time we had it, but I will NEVER order from this place again and will tell anyone who will listen how horrible they are. Stopped in this restaurant to taste the pizza. It is outstanding! Very light, not a heavy feeling after eating. The Caesar Salad is enormous, enough to feed 4. I have had the lasagna as well and it is excellent. The only complaint that I have is that the calzone is served with a very small container of tomato gravy. I'm going to give 5 stars for this place it's small but employees were very polite and friendly. I was greeted promptly upon walking in which was nice. I ordered a small pie to go, didn't take long at all. There menu had a lot of other things to choose from also, pastas, subs (grinders, desserts, salsa. They have some tables inside you can sit down and eat at too so you don't just have to get to go orders. They also have delivery service. I know new Milford has a lot of pizza places but this one I would definitely go back. I also was given a cannoli with my order and that too was delicious. The pizza itself was great the dough had a good taste to. It held the toppings well the sauce had a good taste to it wasn't too overwhelming was just the right ratio of dough,cheese,sauce,toppings. Easily one of the best in the area. Everything I have had here is top notch. Great salads and the pizza is addicting! Exactly like NYC pizza, great flavor to the sauce. Great pizza delivery in New Milford. We used to order from Pronto Pizza, and the delivery was much slower and the pizza usually arrived cold even though we are a 3 minute drive from Pronto... Bravo Pizza is great! They're friendly and accommodate special requests. Their regular cheese slices are awesome! We got 2 large cheese pies for $24 a few weeks ago which was a great deal! Placed an order 90 minutes prior to delivery and received only 2/3 of it. When I called to tell them they said they'd rush the missing pizza over. An hour later and no pizza. Called back to ask for a refund and was rudely told to wait longer. I insisted on the refund and was again told the driver was only minutes away and to wait. Finally got them to agree to refund but was rudely told I wouldn't get the pizza. Yes, that's how refunds work. I didn't get what I paid for so I got my money back.
