I've never had a bad experience here except for today. I was craving the squid ink pasta so I stopped by. They were very busy but I was waiting for over 7 minutes standing at the host stand with no acknowledgement whatsoever. So I went to the bar to talk to anyone and asked if someone could seat me/check me in because I was waiting for over 7 minutes. The bartender said I would have to wait, while a server said to me "as you can see we're very busy so you're gonna have to wait" with an attitude. I was turned off by her tone of voice and the fact that no one came up to me even to say "hey we'll get to you soon". I have worked at a restaurant before so I know what it's like to be busy, but you can still acknowledge my presence.

Stopped here for dinner after a nice walk through Central Park. On a Saturday at 5p this place was vibing! Plenty of seating options: Patio, bar and chill garden seating were available. We were a party of 5 with a 5 year old and after a 10 minute wait we were seated in the quiet garden area. Server was attentive and friendly. Food and drinks were good. Try the steak with truffle fries (with truffle aioli) and a spritz and you won't be disappointed.

We stumbled into this bar and we are very glad that we did. We are bringing friends for the foreseeable future. William, the bartender is absolutely great and he made our experience. This is just one of those places that you should bring either a big group, or on a date, and you will have a good time. There are a bunch of TVs, playing music at a reasonable volume, and overall you can just feel that the vibe here is welcoming.

We came here for dinner on a Thursday night. The place was packed. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful holiday themed decor, everything looked cozy and festive. The menu has a good selection of dishes that include a variety of pastas, meats, burgers and appetizers. We started out with the seared octopus and mezze dip trio. The herb vinaigrette served with the octopus was delicious. I ended up soaking the pita in the vinaigrette since we did not want it to go to waste. The octopus was good but underseasoned. The under seasoning was a recurring issue. I ordered the grilled skirt steak with the scallion fried rice. The meat was cooked perfectly medium rare. The presentation was very good but it was also very under seasoned. It was as though they just added the bare minimum of seasoning to the food as it was prepared. I never like to do this but we actually asked for salt and after adding, it greatly enhanced the flavor of the meat. We ended our dinner with a delicious cheesecake. The service was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely return and try out more from the menu.

Super cute outside, so many options for drinks! DC spritz is the best I tried, also tried life of a spritzgirl. I didn't love either but DC was wayyy better. The servers and host were all RIDICULOUSLY kind and patient, despite there being so many tables to cater to! Also had the 22$ burger and drink combo, was yummy but very small for what it was. The fries were so good and during happy hour they are 7$ and come with ketchup and an aioli type of sauce! Would recommend to come for the two for one drink happy hour with a group of friends, but don't expect the best drinks you've ever had!

We came here twice and both times it was a good time. The first time we came was just a girls brunch, we made reservations online and got the unlimited mimosas and we were there for hours. After our 90min mimosa time ended we just ordered some wine and kept going. The place wasn't too busy as it was a Sunday morning so they allowed us to stay extra time as long as we kept ordering. Our server was super awesome and we just stayed the whole time. We ate a bunch of appetizers and I had the eggs Benedict with potato's and the food was exceptional. The second time we came it was a large party so we got the big room in the back. They were very accommodating to our party and it just felt nice to have a private room to ourselves. This time i ordered the egg and cheese which was also delicious and we had some desserts (strawberry cheesecake and brownies) it was all wonderful and I can't wait to come back.

Starting off the new year and ELITE status 2026 strong with Sojourn Social. Food was delish! I believe one of the managers? kept checking on us and was very nice. The special burger was TOP TIER! And the Pitas with spicy feta cheese and hummus! YUMMY! Old fashioned was a nice poor and just what I needed after walking two hours. It was packed and lively!

Sojourn Social is a stylish, welcoming spot with great cocktails and a relaxed vibe. The menu is creative, the service attentive, and it's perfect for a casual night out with friends.

The staff is kind and the back room we were seated in was warmly lit and inviting. Easy to make a reservation. Service was pretty slow but it was a busy Sunday. The food was delicious, my friend got steak and eggs and their strawberry lemonade mocktail and I got their maple sausage egg and cheese with scrambled eggs and arugula salad. The seats are comfortable and they don't rush you at all.

Ambiance (5/5): This restaurant is absolutely beautiful interior and exterior. I love eating here because it feels fancy, welcoming, and cozy all at the same time! I especially like how dog friendly this place is. This is why I brought my dog to dine in their outside patio. There's a front patio with several dining spots and the outdoor patio has covered dining in little mini private booths and tables about the backyard, multi-level spaces. There's string lights, fake greenery. It feels like you're someplace not in the middle of the city. I love love loved this spot. Service (5/5): They brought a Bark-cuterie for my dog and provided constant refills for her too! We were helped throughout the dining experience and waitress was super sweet when I asked her what the cola spritz was. When asked what the M&M shot was, she also kindly got me one even though I didn't order from the menu when my friend did! It was super sweet! Food (5/5): We came for their Thursday specials $10 aerprols: THERSy day for a girl dinner of coke aerprol, Caesar salad, and M&M shot. I decided to go for their summer special of a salmon on a bed of quinoa 'risotto' corn. The presentation was beautiful! The salmon had a nice sear and was cooked to a medium-rare which made the fish very tender. Can't wait to come back again!

What a cool concept, a Michelin quality tasting menu at a secret location!…read more I recently discovered this group via Instagram, their menu is always rotating but the price was really good for NYC - 6 courses for $130 (which includes, tax, tip, and wine pairings)! Since the concept was so interesting and the pricing was really good, I decided to give it a try and booked a reservation for 2 people for a Saturday night dinner. Following my booking, I was emailed instructions for location a few hours later as well as what to expect. The dining location for my dinner was in a rectory house, which still serves priests! It was a bit of a trek to find but it's a fun part of the experience :) The food: each of the six courses were served in timely cadence and I really appreciated that the chef offered such a thorough explanation of each dish both from the ingredients perspective as well as the inspiration behind it. The entire meal was also paired with 4 drinks, one cocktail and 3 wines, which was included in the total price of the tasting menu already. My favorites: -dragonfruit granite: this was a refresher between the "apps" and the "main courses" dishes, the colors were so vibrant and the flavors were nice and cool, great way to cleanse the palate before the heavy meat dish -hamachi crudo: this actually reminded me of ceviche, which is one of my favorite things to eat. The sauce was particularly yummy, it had just the right mix of creaminess that was complemented by the zesty-ness of the lime Overall, really enjoyed this unique dining experience. The food was yummy, the chefs were super fun and the price was a great value! Would definitely recommend dining with Chez Nous :) p.s. The…read morepull apart truffle monkey bread was our initial reason for coming, and although the price point was quite steep, I would say it's worth the try. The bread was fluffy and not dry, which I had seen previous reviews say before. Paired with the creamy truffle butter, it had a luxurious mouthfeel. My favorite was the pork chop (cognac, sweet prunes, bacon, rosemary) -- the sweet and soft texture of the prune was melted in my mouth like fat, and the pork was tender, with the rosemary also coming through. The vodka rigatoni was a skip, somewhat bland and one-note, we ended up putting some of the truffle butter and garlic aioli from the fries to make it more flavorful. This was especially in contrast with the spicy shrimp pasta which was much tastier. Also got the strawberry vacherin (strawberry ice cream, meringue, vanilla whipped cream), it was my first time having this dessert. The tartness of the strawberry was great with the fluffy meringue and the sweet ice cream. Service was extremely attentive, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated with moody lighting. Although the space was packed, it didn't feel too loud or crowded. We spent about two hours and didn't feel rushed.

I went on a Thursday night, and the place was absolutely packed. The front feels more like a bar/casual area, while the dining room is tucked toward the back. My reservation was at 10:15 PM, so I actually had a light dinner beforehand and ordered a little lighter than I normally would. I got: - Truffle Monkey Bread ($34.99) - Prime Rib French Dip ($39.99) - Pommes Frites ($13.99) - Banana Split Sundae ($24.99) I thought the prices were definitely on the higher end when I first sat down, but the Truffle Monkey Bread is divine! Honestly, it's probably in my top 3 bread experiences of my life. If you love truffle, butter, cheese, and basically everything good in life, please get this. It comes out slightly warm and is just incredible. I will probably dream about this bread. The French Dip was good, although it was a little too salty for me. If I get the chance to come back, I'd probably try one of their actual steaks instead. The pommes frites were super crispy, basically McDonald's fries but elevated. The Banana Split Sundae was so pretty. I loved how they placed all the little treats around the crevices/imprints of the dish (not sure how else to describe it ). It's huge, though, so definitely don't expect to finish it yourself. I'd recommend sharing it with 3+ people. I was also celebrating an anniversary, and they brought out a strawberry scoop for us. It tasted homemade and really fresh. I could actually see pieces of strawberry in it, which I loved. The restaurant is definitely on the pricier side, and getting a dinner reservation can be a struggle, but I'd absolutely go again if I got the chance. The decor is cozy and upscale, the food was excellent, and the whole place has a really nice atmosphere. My only real complaint was that our waitress kept pushing us to order more, which got a little annoying, especially since we had already ordered quite a bit. Overall: expensive + difficult reservation, but absolutely worth trying. And please get the truffle monkey bread.

It's a beautifully designed space, and we went in the evening so it was dimly lit and had good tunes, contributing to an intimate and cool vibe. The service throughout was good both by our primary server and the rest of the team that was bringing out dishes. For the food, we did not feel that it was a strong start, but the ending was great! The first dish to come out was their cornbread, which we agreed was very light and had a super tender texture, but there was just nothing special about the taste profile to us. The second dish were their prawns. We couldn't put our finger on the off-putting flavor in there, but we agreed that something just wasn't right and almost tasted spoiled. You also had to work a bit to dissect the prawns and remove the heads and skin. To work for it and then not enjoy the taste wasn't a great combo for us, unfortunately. It started turning around with their sweet potatoes, a type I'd never had before that were "baby" and purple on the outside while white inside. They served the potatoes with a gorgeously whipped Greek yogurt that added the exact right amount of tang to balance the sweet potato and the herby topping. The stars of the night were the coconut basmati rice and the lamb shank. My goodness! The rice dish was so complex from a flavor and texture profile and just hit all the right notes for us, and that lamb! Definitely one of the best lamb dishes I've had - Impossibly tender and seasoned to perfection. One other note I'll make regarding drinks is that they did not have a strong wine list. I ended up ordering a red, but later heard our waiter recommend against getting their wine to another table and suggesting their cocktails and mocktails instead. Just something to keep in mind if you're a wine lover!

The place is LOUD albeit with good taste of retro, 90's music and not the modern trash that floods the radio waves so I can rock with that. Coming into the place I was greeted by a blonde woman who seemed to be a supervisor of the area. She directed me to a comfortable seating area and a server took my order afterwards. The place was relatively busy so the wait for my food was kind of in the long range, about maybe 15 minutes. I ordered Chicken & Waffles with Iced Tea and the food was definitely worth the wait. That chicken was so good, a bit on the crisp side but it's solid in taste. The Waffle had such an awesome texture with the right measure of powdered sugar, decorated with Blueberries and Strawberries, the entrée was plated very well. The Iced Tea, I didn't know it was unsweetened so that threw me off but some sugar kinda fixed that. Service was also 'A' Tier. The place was busy so it was a tad on the slow side but they were very attentive. About 3 different servers tended to me whether it was about my order, how I liked it and paying for the bill when I was finished. That's dedication and I always give props to that.
